Jamie’s exciting new flagship Jamie Oliver Cookery School and Jamie Oliver Cafe, will open its doors the first week of May, in John Lewis & Partners, Oxford Street, London.

With over 40 classes ranging from the Punchy Peíuvian Ceviche to making Showstopping Ravioli, Vietnamese Stíeet Food, mastering knife skills, the Calzone Made Easy and so much more, the new Jamie Oliver Cookery School in John Lewis promises to unleash everyone’s inner chef as it puts the fun and the know-how into learning to cook a myriad of delicious cuisines.

Promising to make chef-inspired food a reality, whether you are a novice or a whizz in the kitchen, the new Jamie Oliver Cookery School brings Jamie’s pared back, full flavour approach to every cooking lesson.

Opening simultaneously on the third floor of the store, is the new Jamie Oliver Cafe, situated adjacent to the Cookery School. The new cafe seats 50 and offers delicious treats such as New Ground Coffee, British Sparkling Wine, Vibrant Salads & Filled Focaccias as well as a range of sweet treats. Cooked fresh on-site by Jamie’s chefs, the dishes will celebrate some of Jamie’s favourite suppliers, including bread from The Dusty Knuckle, meat from HG Walters, sustainable fish from Stickleback and wines from Liberty Wines.

The Jamie Oliver Cookery School will have two classrooms, each accommodating up to 24 guests. The door between the two classrooms can open for a class of up to 48 people, perfect for larger and corporate events. The cookery school will have multiple stations that will be kitted out with the very latest Samsung appliances including ovens, hobs and TV screens. Ensuring every guest can concentrate on creating their gastronomic masterpieces.

Jamie says, “I’m super excited to be expanding the Jamie Oliver Cookery School, opening our doors so even more people can unleash their inner chef and experience the joy of cooking from scratch. Our new home at John Lewis Oxford Street puts us smack-bang in the heart of the city, with room for 48 guests to have all the fun cooking up delicious food. It’s going to be such a buzzing place – I can’t wait to see it in action.”

Top selling classes, starting at £59 for 1.5 hours, at the original Jamie Oliver Cookery School in Jamie’s Islington HQ, London include Pasta Master, Vietnamese Street Food, Thai Street Food and Japanese Feast. All will be available at the new cookery school plus regular guest chef classes from cookbook authors, restaurateurs, suppliers and industry experts. The first-to-be-announced chefs include Calum Franklin, Noor Murad, Gennaro Contaldo and Ben Tish. And of course, Jamie will continue to help teach kids how to cook with Kids Learn for Free Classes during the school holidays.

The Jamie Oliver Channel – just launched

Hungry for more content? Samsung TV Plus is launching an exclusive The Jamie Oliver Channel, which will be available on the service in the UK from the 12^th October dedicated to all the most well-known titles from the chef, feeding the Samsung TV Plus watcher with content for any occasion.

The channel includes hours’ worth of shows, featuring some of the most popular content from the British chef such as: Jamie’s Quick & Easy, Jamie Together, Jamie & Jimmy’s Food Fight Club, Jamie’s Super Food and many others.

This exceptional menu of entertainment allows audiences to feast on food-focused content for every occasion on channel number 4425.

Festive Hub: Home to great Christmas movies and shows

Samsung TV Plus’s latest owned and operated channel, Festive Hub, premieres on the 12^th of October bringing users the best of festive content to watch live and on-demand, completely free of charge.

Festive Hub is a one-stop channel for this festive season’s famous movies, from British Christmas classics, to family-friendly comedies, to the best Christmas recipes and cooking tips.

Some of the films on offer include A Christmas Gift From Bob, Dear Secret Santa, I’m Not Ready for Christmas, from production house, Lionsgate. In addition, the channel will also include some of the best Christmas content from Jamie Oliver bringing you hours of fun delicious recipes to spice up the festive season.

MythBusters – 24/7 entertainment  

Samsung TV Plus is also launching a channel dedicated to MythBusters, offering audiences 24/7 access to eight seasons and over 200 episodes from the iconic show. As Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage attempt to debunk urban legends, audiences can expect science, experiments, explosions & disasters! Available now on Samsung TV Plus channel 4214.

Samsung TV Plus x Banijay Rights

Samsung TV Plus has partnered with Banijay Rights to bring 1 new channel in the UK – Horizons, a channel filled with the best of British classics. The channel features shows such as Location, Location, Location, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Pointless, as well as drama series Gunpowder and The Woman in White, and various Mary Berry series. The channel is now available on Samsung TV Plus on number 4115.

Samsung TV Plus x All3Media

Samsung TV Plus has partnered with All3Media to deliver Great British Menu and Homes Under the Hammer, two original BBC factual television series that will bring nostalgia and great amusement to British homes via Samsung TV Plus. The two channels have just launched on the 14^th September, as one-show channels available anytime, anywhere.

Samsung TV Plus x ITV Studios

ITV Studio and Samsung TV Plus have partnered to deliver Come Dine with Me on the UK service, as a one-show binge channel with 24/7 episodes of the show available for users to drop in and watch the game show immediately, providing hours of entertainment where dinner party hosts compete to win a prize.
