Samsung has also secured partnerships with ITV Studios, Banijay and FreeSports which radically increase the breadth of free content available to Samsung TV Plus audiences.

American Idol 2022 – UK Exclusive

American Idol 2022 will be airing exclusively on Samsung TV Plus UK.

American Idol 2022 will now be available as VOD that can be accessed 24/7 through the Samsung TV Plus homepage and audiences can enjoy brand new episodes added every week. The show will also become available to watch live on linear TV through the new Entertainment Hub channel from the 10^th of March.

This season of American Idol will see judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry back for the brand new series – with Ryan Seacrest returning as the show’s host.

The scale of free entertainment available to audiences is set to grow further – with last years’ American Idol 2021 season also joining the content roster from June 2022.

Samsung is launching a new owned and operated channel, Entertainment Hub, on the 10^th of March.

The channel is dedicated to bringing entertainment for all the family – including global hit shows such as:

• American Idol (Seasons 2022 and 2021*): The world-famous American Idol 2022 will debut on Samsung TV Plus’ Entertainment Hub on the 10^th of March – with American Idol 2021 becoming available in June 2022.
• MasterChef Australia (Seasons 7-10): MasterChef Australia is a critically acclaimed competitive cooking game show based on the original British MasterChef. In seasons 7-10 audiences experience the series’ most sizzling episodes as the aspiring chef’s learn to face the heat – or get out of the kitchen.

The launch comes as new research from Samsung ^[1]reveals the top five ways Brits have tried to eat healthier, with 70 percent steaming their food to try and eat better, while more than half (53%) have turned to air frying. The Samsung NV7000B and NQ7000B Oven series comes in a choice of four elegant modern colours: Satin Beige, Clean Navy, Clean Black and Black Stainless. They include innovative ways to steam and air fry food to promote healthy eating, including:

• Steaming Food:
  • Full Steam – surrounds food such as vegetables or fresh fish with a vapour of hot steam, so they are cooked optimally and retain their natural flavour and vitamins.
