LONDON, UK – 19 May, 2021 – earlier this week Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd unveiled a daring new creative instalment in the heart of London, to bring to life the slim design of the new Samsung Galaxy Book Pro.

In a Samsung UK first, Monday morning’s unique showcase, located on Fashion Street by London’s Spitalfields Market, was more modern art than traditional bus stop advertising. The piece, consisting of a Samsung Galaxy Book Pro suspended inside two panes of glass, turned the heads of passers-by who were surprised to realise the unique advert was in fact an exhibit of the incredible form factor of Samsung’s thinnest PC ever.

The Galaxy Book Pro’s system measures just 8.5mm in thickness when fully open (even less than Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G device which is 8.9mm^[1]) so is still able to fit inside the slender space of a bus stop 6-sheet poster, demonstrating its lightweight convenience.

Supported by Samsung’s partners at Clear Channel Advertising, this feat was achieved using a thin wire to suspend the laptop inside the bus stop advertising space- something usually reserved for paper posters. The one-of-a kind showcase was live at the bus stop until Monday lunchtime when the device was replaced by a poster display.
