The new M8, M7, and M5 Smart Monitors (Model Name: M80C, M70C, M50C) from Samsung enable users to tailor their monitor to their unique style and needs, as they watch, play, and work.

Elegant designs for every style and space

The full lineup is comprised of nine versatile monitors to meet the needs and styles of a wide range of users. The M8, M7, and M5 Smart Monitors come in a variety of colours and sizes. The M8 and M7 models are available in 32-inches, while the M5 model is available in both 32- and 27-inches. The M8 with UHD resolution and 400nit brightness is available in the UK in Warm White and Spring Green. The M7 with UHD resolution and 300nit brightness comes in Warm White while the M5 with Full HD resolution comes in a sleek Black or White.

Introduced with a new Iconic Slim Design, the M8 and M7 models are super slim, measuring 11.39mm at the thinnest point on the monitor. To elevate the look of the monitor and the room surrounding it, an organic, chic herringbone pattern has been applied to the back of both the M8 and M7 models. The height-adjustable stand with tilt support helps M8 users adjust the angle whenever they need to, while creating a clutter-free environment. The screen can also pivot 90 degrees to reduce the fatigue of scrolling down long files.

Monitors that redefine smart entertainment

The 2023 Smart Monitor M8 has received multiple upgrades and feature enhancements from the previous generation. Thanks to 4K resolution, HDR 10+[2], and 400nit brightness, the M8 delivers brilliant, vivid pictures to offer the best of smart entertainment in a monitor. Upgraded monitors for maximum productivity

The 2023 lineup has been enhanced to make remote work seamless and effortless. The PC-less workspace allows remote access by wirelessly connecting to and mirroring PCs. The M8 has a magnetic and removable camera so users can connect wirelessly with no additional purchase necessary. Its SlimFit camera[4] supports FHD resolution and video conferencing features*. Next-level monitors with new personalised features

Far-field voice is also supported in the M8 and M7 models with a built-in mic, allowing users to speak directly to the monitor.

The new My Contents feature, now available across the 2023 Smart Monitor lineup, allows users to quickly access helpful information. When the monitor is on standby mode and detects a registered smartphone through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the screen lights up with the user’s photos, weather and more at a glance. The monitor resumes standby mode when the smartphone is out of range.

LONDON, UK – July 2022 – Research reveals almost half (45%) of Gen MZs (1981-2005) say their ‘working from home’ space has cluttered their home, impacting their mood (28%), creativity (22%), productivity (21%) and inspiration (19%).

The study by Samsung Electronics Co Ltd. found nearly three quarters (72%) have had to make changes to their homes to adapt to the new working conditions, such as installing IT equipment from work (43%), buying additional furniture, such as a desk or a chair (40%), and changing the layout of their living space (36%).

In terms of where Gen MZs are working within the home, 32% sit on the sofa and 30% even work from their bed, showing a lack of suitable space within the home. It’s therefore not surprising that just 20% are ‘very satisfied’ with their working from home set up. And compared to when they first started working from home, almost two in five (39%) feel less productive now and 38% are bored of doing it.

In 2018, Samsung introduced MICRO LED in the form of “The Wall”—a configurable system of modules that can reach an astounding 292 inches for an experience like no other. With its inherent flexibility, “The Wall” requires professional installation in a home or business environment.

In 2021, Samsung brings all the power of MICRO LED technology in the form of a traditional TV experience. Now, consumers can take home the cinematic experience in a beautiful edge-to-edge screen design, with no need for professional assembly and installation. MICRO LED is available in 110’’ and 99’’ sizes globally beginning at the end of March; an 88’’ size is launching this fall; and a 76’’ is on the future roadmap.

MICRO LED can become 4 screens in one. With 4Vue (Quad View), consumers can watch up to four sources of content simultaneously. Keep up with multiple sports at once, or stream a walkthrough while playing a video game. MICRO LED brings true-to-life picture quality at an enormous scale—out of the box.

As people turn to TVs as an outlet for their passions, Samsung developed Samsung Neo QLED to enhance the viewing experience, no matter what you are watching. The Samsung Neo QLED viewing experience is defined by our proprietary Quantum Matrix Technology and works with intense precision to control our new, ultra-fine Quantum Mini LEDs. It works in tandem with our AI-powered Neo Quantum Processor to deliver our most intense blacks, brightest lights, and next-level upscaling technology. Smarter than any Samsung TV has ever offered, Samsung Neo QLED delivers an ultra-realistic picture—whether you are watching a football game, or playing one on your gaming console. And at just 1/40^th the size of conventional LEDs, Quantum Mini LEDs also allow for super slim TV designs.

In order to further deliver optimised gaming performance to the 2021 Samsung Neo QLED and QLED line, Samsung has also partnered with AMD to develop the first TV with Freesync Premium Pro support for both PC and console games to deliver a truly exceptional HDR gaming experience. Additionally, Samsung’s new Game Bar helps players quickly monitor critical aspects of play. You can use it to access Samsung’s Super Ultrawide Gameview, which brings ultra-wide aspect ratios—traditionally only available on gaming monitors—to the TV.

For those with a passion for fitness, Samsung Neo QLED brings athletic training and healthy living to the home. Last year, when people weren’t able to go to the gym, many sought ways to stay fit at home. Samsung Health, a comprehensive fitness and mindfulness platform which launched in the spring of 2020, met this need. Samsung Health helped us stay fit with partner apps for every style of fitness and health, along with seamless connectivity to mobile devices and wearables.

In 2021, Samsung Health adds the benefit of a Smart Trainer. With an optional camera sold separately, the Smart Trainer utilises AI to analyse your posture and provide real-time feedback to improve your form as you follow instructional videos.

In 2021, Samsung Neo QLED’s 8K models (QN800A and QN900A) will be available in 65’’, 75’’, and 85’’ sizes, while the 4K models (QN94A, QN90A and QN85A) will reflect an even wider selection, starting at 50’’.

The Frame transforms the TV into a gallery of fine art that can be endlessly personalised to match your home, or suit your mood and taste. With new partnerships in the Art Store*, like NAVA Contemporary and Etsy, The Frame features more original artworks to match individual tastes. The new and improved Art Store platform makes it easy to flick through a growing library of over 1,400 artworks from world-renowned institutions – spanning the classics and the contemporary*. And with fine-tuned AI-based recommendations, it’s never been easier to find what you love, collect your favourite pieces, and curate your very own art exhibition. The Frame also features increased storage space from 500 megabytes in 2020 to 16 gigabytes in 2021, so you can store (and showcase) up to 1,200 of your very own photos (all) in UHD quality. From iconic masterpieces and modern marvels to stunning photography, The Frame Art Mode brings you ever-more options to reflect your taste and reinvent your everyday space.

This year, we have redesigned 2021 The Frame and made it slimmer than ever – just 24.9 millimeters thick, about the same depth as an actual picture frame. Additionally, we bring you a variety of ways to have The Frame fit to and blend into any living space—from the Slim Fit TV Wall Mount to hang it like a real picture frame, One Connect Box’s easy cable management solution, to interchangeable bezel colours and styles**. You can choose to have 2021 The Frame blend in, or stand out. Either way, it’s a one-of-a-kind TV that looks just as spectacular – off, or on.

Samsung is also offering a new way to display the 2021 The Frame, with My Shelf, a new accessory releasing globally later this year that lets you create a tailored wall with personal touches to complement your screen and décor. My Shelf can be attached to the 55”, 65”, and 75” Frame sizes.

For those who miss the movie theatre experience, The Premiere, the industry’s first triple laser projector with 4K resolution, represents the next stage in home cinema—all in a compact package. Traditional beam projectors can be clunky and difficult to set up—and even if they offer a big screen, the resolution is sometimes far below an ordinary TV. The Premiere’s minimalist design, with rounded edges and a fabric finish, fits neatly into any home. Just position the Premiere around 5 inches or further from a monotone wall or ALR screen, and break out the popcorn.

In 2020, Samsung took its industry-leading picture and smart TV entertainment experience from inside the home to the yard—just as consumers were looking to get outdoors. With The Terrace, our first outdoor TV, consumers can enjoy the picture quality, audio performance, and smart features they expect from Samsung outside. And they can do so worry-free; The Terrace is weather-resistant, with an IP55 rating to protect against water and dust. It is also simple to install, and easy to connect to cable service and a Wi-Fi network. The Terrace is available in 55”, 65”, and 75” as well as the option of a IP55 weather rated Terrace Soundbar.

The Terrace Soundbar offers dynamic sound that redefines the dimensions of home theatre. Right out of the box, The Terrace delivers high-quality sound and a deep and clear bass sound from its built-in woofers. For those who want to customise their TV’s sound output, The Terrace has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing it to be paired with The Terrace Soundbar or other devices. To fulfill this demand, the Smart Monitor is Samsung’s first “do-it-all” monitor—uniting the best of monitor and TV. Smart Monitor is compatible with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wireless DeX, and Apple AirPlay 2, letting consumers work from anywhere without needing to connect to a PC. With AirPlay 2, customers can stream, control, and share their favourite content directly from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac to their monitor. When you need to relax, you can enjoy your favorite shows by turning on the Smart TV platform and accessing your preferred streaming apps. Smart Monitor helps consumers stay productive when they need to be—and entertained when they need a break.

In 2020, the Odyssey G9 gaming monitor generated a lot of buzz—this year, Samsung is leveling up the experience with a Quantum MiniLED display and premium gaming features. The 1000R screen curvature, combined with Quantum MiniLED display technology, gives gamers an experience unlike any other. The new G9 joins Samsung’s full lineup of curved and flat Odyssey gaming monitors.

To enable a new way of learning and working while staying safe, we are introducing the Samsung Interactive Display FLIP 75-inch, a digital whiteboard you can write, draw, and edit on. The Flip offers connective features for hybrid working and learning to help consumers succeed—whether in the classroom, the office, or at home. With optimised 4K picture quality and easy-to-read visuals, a team of up to 20 can work simultaneously to sync personal devices for real-time content sharing. The Flip allows users to see a coworker’s or teacher’s presentation as if they were there in person—offering the ability to work together while staying safe. Designed to foster greater collaboration, increase productivity, and enable a seamless exchange of ideas, the 75” display joins the 55”, 65”, and 85” display.

For a full, deep and rich immersive experience, the Q950A boasts the industry’s first 11.1.4 channel sound bringing you right into the centre of the action. For those who play music from their mobile devices, AirPlay 2 is included and Tap Sound makes it as simple as tapping a device to the soundbar. The Q950A, Q900A and Q800A have Alexa voice assistant built-in —making it easy to take full control of the listening experience.
