The partnership forms a part of its ongoing commitment towards celebrating and supporting those inspirational individuals, organisations and NGOs that are using technology to make a difference to people’s lives and their communities.

The Connected Society Award in particular, recognises those using the most innovative technology products or services that transform people’s lives and help make the world a better place. The award is open to any individual, business, charity, social enterprise or other public body based in the UK.

We are really excited to see how the latest advances in technology can help us breakthrough in solving some of our most pressing social and environmental challenges”, said Teg Dosanjh Director of Connected Living (AI & IOT), Samsung UK & Ireland. “For the Connected Society Award, we will be looking for entries that demonstrate innovation in growing areas of technology, such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and 5G. This could be a project in its early stages that demonstrates the potential for making a big impact, or it could be an existing product or service that is now ready to take the next big step.”
