Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced that its new vacuum and mop robot cleaner series, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam,^[1] has been verified at level “Diamond” under the UL Solutions’ Marketing Claim Verification IoT Security Rating Program. This is the third time in 2025 that Samsung has earned this verification for one of its home appliances, following the Bespoke AI Refrigerator^[2] and Bespoke AI Laundry lineup.^[3]

How Samsung Products Achieve the UL Solutions Diamond- Level Ratings

To provide users with peace of mind, it is crucial to determine that the robot vacuum cleaner has strong security capabilities. Especially in case of Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra,^[4] the premium model in the series, uses a camera during the cleaning process and offers features such as home monitoring through SmartThings connectivity.^[5] Similarly, robust security measures are essential to Samsung’s screen-based appliances, which can monitor other home appliances and store user information in the web browser.

To establish this standard of protection, Samsung has applied Samsung Knox, which provides a multi-layered security system. It ensures encrypted communication and robust defense against external threats. Additionally, Samsung is strengthening security across these new products with IoT security marketing claims verified by UL Solutions this year by applying Knox Matrix Trust Chain^[6] and Knox Vault.^[7] Knox Matrix Trust Chain utilises blockchain technology to monitor connected appliances’ security status in real time. Knox Vault, which is applied to home appliances for the first time in 2025, stores particularly sensitive user information, such as passwords and authentication information, in a separate hardware chip to ensure protection. These continued efforts will allow the company to deliver a more secure connected home experience and further extend security certifications across its product portfolio.

Beyond its high level of security, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra offers enhanced hygiene through steam sanitisation.^[8] Equipped with AI Object Recognition,^[9] it allows users to enjoy a more personalised and effortless cleaning experience that’s tailored to their home environment.^[10]

The Bespoke AI Refrigerator and the Bespoke AI Laundry lineup, which were introduced at the global “Welcome to Bespoke AI” launch event in March, are equipped with the AI Home or AI Family Hub screen.^[11] The screen allows for easy control of the device and displays product-related information in an intuitive way.

Availability

Samsung’s newest vacuum and mop robot cleaner, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam, is scheduled to be showcased at IFA 2025, where its key features and strengths will be on full display. Bespoke AI refrigerators and the Bespoke AI Laundry lineup are already being rolled out in select markets globally.

The UL Solutions IoT Security Rating Program

UL Solutions is a global safety science leader that evaluates marketing claims for smart devices through objective, rigorous and science-based evaluation. Its IoT Security Rating Program verifies a brand’s marketing claims about its product’s IoT security capabilities and ranks those capabilities on five levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.

The Diamond-level rating is the highest in the program. Only products that successfully detect and block malicious software, prevent unauthorised access and anonymise user data can earn a Diamond-level rating. Products that achieve this level must also detect unknown threats and run real-time vulnerability management systems.

LONDON, United Kingdom – August 20, 2024 – Samsung Electronics today announced that an expanded number of products in its Digital Appliances Business have been verified to level ‘Diamond’ under UL Solutions’ Marketing Claim Verification IoT Security Rating Program. Following the Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+^[1] ― which was the first product in the home appliances industry to earn the ‘Diamond’ level from UL Solutions ― and Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI,^[2] two products ranging in the UK were verified to the same level recently. The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo^[3] and the Air to Water Heat Pump^[4] acquired the Verification in June. In the UK, Samsung now possesses four ‘Diamond’ level verifications by UL Solutions for its home appliances.

UL Solutions’ IoT Security Rating Program

UL Solutions is a leading global safety science company that evaluates hundreds of marketing claims each year. One of their services, the UL Solutions’ IoT Security Rating Program verifies the security capabilities of smart home products.

UL Solutions differentiates security capability performance using five levels – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Each level requires rigorous testing, and of them, the highest ‘Diamond’ level is only given after products pass tests evaluating the ability to detect malicious software modulation, prevent illegal access attempts, and anonymise user data. Especially, the products that achieve this highest ‘Diamond’ level differentiate themselves from level ‘Platinum’ products in their ability to detect unknown potential vulnerabilities, and operate programs for early detection of security vulnerabilities as well.

Products Newly Verified to Level ‘Diamond’

These additional certifications were obtained for the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo and the Air to Water Heat Pump. They are distinctive by being able to be linked with other devices using SmartThings connectivity,^[5] and providing various AI or smart functions.

The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is an All-in-one washer and dryer that frees users from the hassle of transferring laundry after washing to the dryer. Featuring a 7-inch LCD display,^[6] users can get recommended cycles^[7] based on their preferences, as well as periodic and seasonal needs.^[8] It also shows all connected appliances^[9] within the home, allowing users to monitor and control them seamlessly.

The Air to Water Heat Pump has a slim fit design that goes harmoniously with the home environment. Its 7-inch LCD display^[10] supports various languages and help users monitor solar PV energy usage. Users can control their connected appliances through this display.
