What happens when you equip some of the most creative minds in late night with 10 years of smartphone innovation? A never-been-done, must-see TV moment, powered by the Samsung Galaxy S10+.
For the first time ever, last night “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” aired a bonus original episode called “A Night Out in New York City with Jimmy Fallon,” shot entirely on Samsung’s latest smartphone.
Filmed through the lens of the award-winning S10+, the episode showcased Fallon’s love for his hometown and highlighted his favorite New York spots with some very special guests. Fallon and the team took the Galaxy S10+ out on the town to experience a night of unique fun, food, music, and comedy that can only be found in the Big Apple.
The pro-grade camera system on the Galaxy S10+ let the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” crew capture it all, exactly how it appears in person, using the 123-degree field of view Ultra-Wide Lens, which can fit the whole crew in the frame, Super Steady Mode to stabilize bumpy footage for incredible video, and much more.
The team also compiled a behind-the-scenes video to show how the show’s creators were able to do what’s never been done before with the Galaxy S10+.

Earlier this month, the Galaxy S10+ was used to capture memorable moments through a new lens on other NBC programming, including “TODAY,” Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” and E!’s flagship Snapchat show “The Rundown.” The phone will also be used for a unique coach’s chair perspective in upcoming episodes of Telemundo’s “La Voz.”
