At Samsung Electronics America, we are proud to be an organization where strong female executives can grow, thrive, and contribute to our ongoing success.

That’s why we are very proud to announce that two of our top female executives – Vice President of Strategy and Operations, Carrie Maslen and Director of Channel Marketing, Darci Niszcak – have been recognized with the prestigious CRN “Women of the Channel 2017” Award. This award recognizes those women whose channel expertise and vision stand out in their industry, and who have helped their organizations push their businesses forward.

Carrie joined Samsung in 2015 to help improve the experience of customers, partners and employees in the United States, work which has helped us exceed targets and delight customers and partners at all levels. She has been an integral part of our work to build and implement programs and offerings that help our customers use Samsung solutions to change their business. With an eye for innovative strategies and unique marketing narratives to help deliver fresh enablement and operational improvements, such as special pricing, while driving value and revenue for channel partners.

She believes Samsung’s commitment to constant investing in programs and resources is helping channel partners to succeed and is currently overseeing programs related to enablement content that ensure our partners can effectively identify how they meet changing customer needs, and deliver marketing assets that drive demand, and a mobile solutions provider program.

Prior to joining Samsung, Carrie served as a global VP at SAP, and spent more than 20 years working for Hewlett-Packard. The Channel Company recognized her as one of the ‘100 Most Powerful Women of the Channel’ in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

As Director of Channel Marketing, Darci solves challenges that push her beyond her limits while playing a critical role in the development and execution of strategic programs and marketing across both direct and indirect channels.

Her comprehensive portfolio spans across IT and mobile products, and she works with customers of all sizes, from SMBs to enterprise, in a variety of key vertical markets. Over the past year, she led a series of initiatives that enabled Samsung partners to grow their profitability and generate their own demand while establishing a framework that will enable us to funnel more qualified leads through our channel partners.

Most recently, she led the development of a new fully customized and dynamic learning management platform that helps our partners expand their knowledge base while keeping them fully engaged as Samsung partners.

Prior to joining Samsung, Darci spent 11 years with a premier retail company headquartered in New Jersey, where she spearheaded the development of the company’s first e-commerce website, helping to fuel exponential growth in a market that increased at a fraction of that rate.

Darci is a proud recipient of the Samsung Business Innovation Award, the Samsung Business Standing Ovation Award, and was recognized as a winner of the CRN Women of the Channel award in 2016, as well as being on its Power 100 list in 2014 and 2015. Darci also served on the Board of Directors for CompTIA’s Creating IT Futures Foundation from September 2014 thru October 2016.

Thanks to Carrie and Darci and their teams, Samsung continues to offer best-in-class programs, support and marketing resources that drive collaborative partner growth in an ever-changing and competitive channel environment. Both of these executives stand as a testament to the Samsung culture, and to our commitment to providing opportunities for women to succeed at all levels of the organization.
