Continuing to drive innovation in the digital wallet experience, the Samsung Pay service today announced a first-of-its-kind incentives program for a mobile payments platform in the U.S.: the \u201cSamsung Rewards\u201d program, coming this week to Samsung Pay.\u00b9<\/p>\n

For every transaction users conduct with Samsung Pay, enrollees in Samsung Rewards will earn points, which can eventually be redeemed for a variety of items, including gift cards to some of nation\u2019s most popular retailers, prepaid Samsung Rewards Visa\u00ae gift cards, Samsung products and more.<\/p>\n

After a certain number of monthly transactions, enrollees will achieve different status tiers for that month to multiply the points they receive. Five transactions in one month, for example, will give a user \u201cSilver\u201d status and twice the points for every transaction they conduct using Samsung Pay. 20 monthly transactions awards a user \u201cGold\u201d status, resulting in triple points, and 30 monthly Samsung Pay transactions puts a user in the \u201cPlatinum\u201d tier where they earn quadruple points.<\/p>\n

In addition, the program will award select active enrollees with \u201cInstant Win\u201d prizes, starting with a trip for two to Napa Valley, with new prizes rotating regularly.\u00b2<\/p>\n

Users will be able to track their points and rewards status, browse offers, and redeem their points directly within the Samsung Pay app and eventually via Samsung.com.\u00b3<\/p>\n
