As a company with a Korean heritage, Samsung is particularly grateful for the incredible sacrifices made by members of the U.S. military during the Korean War. The oldest member of the group was a 96-year-old veteran (who took the day in stride no less!).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was a truly special day to witness these men who fought for our country&#8217;s freedom \u2013 often in indescribably difficult circumstances \u2013 take stock of the magnificent structures built in their honor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/img.us.news.samsung.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/02165103\/Honor-Flight-Welcome.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-35847\" src=\"https:\/\/img.us.news.samsung.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/02165103\/Honor-Flight-Welcome-950x633.jpg\" alt=\"Honor Flight 2019 Welcome Sign\" width=\"730\" height=\"486\" srcset=\"https:\/\/img.us.news.samsung.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/02165103\/Honor-Flight-Welcome-950x633.jpg 950w, https:\/\/img.us.news.samsung.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/02165103\/Honor-Flight-Welcome-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px\" \/><\/a>Our day began at 7:30 AM where all boarded the bus from Baltimore\/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and drove to our nation&#8217;s capital to start the tour at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwiimemorial.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World War II<\/a>, Korean and <a href=\"http:\/\/thewall-usa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vietnam War<\/a> Memorials. The tours were followed by lunch at the Navy Memorial &amp; Museum at the Navy Yard in Southeast DC.
