That action is reflected across the board from our citizenship programs that foster girls&#8217; interest in STEM to our Women in Samsung Electronics (WISE) ERG, a network created to promote and encourage a workplace culture where everyone can thrive.<\/p>\n<p>One hundred years ago, you did not have the right to vote in the U.S. if you were a woman. Women\u2019s Equality Day celebrates the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment, which granted some women the right to vote on August 26, 1920. In fact, that hard-fought movement is not too dissimilar to what we are experiencing today, and highlights the continued efforts by women, as well as other marginalized communities, to achieve full equality.<\/p>\n<p>In this video, Samsung employees sound off on what gender parity means to them in the workplace and beyond.
