For the fifth time, members of the Samsung Electronics America leadership team have participated in Covenant House New Jersey\u2019s Executive Sleep Out Event. Raising money and awareness to end youth homelessness, this event has become an infamous experience<\/a> for participating members of the executive team\u2014with interest in the event growing year after year.<\/p>\n

With the event shifting virtually in response to COVID-19, this year Team Samsung expanded to 24 leaders from across the company \u2013 and the country \u2013 who volunteered to support the cause. All participated in the event from their homes, joining a live kick-off with Covenant House youth and staff before spending the night outside in their backyard, balcony or porch.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Collectively, Team Samsung, who was the number one team in raising funds, generated $197,255 to help Covenant House New Jersey continue caring for the more than 3,000 homeless kids that come to their facility each year seeking shelter, safety and support.<\/p>\n

Samsung is a huge company and you are going to inspire so many other companies to support us.
