RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J., February 9, 2015 \u2013<\/span> Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics, semiconductors and telecommunications, today announced that its corporate reputation was ranked third of the 100 most visible companies in the United States, according to the 16th annual Harris Poll Reputation Quotient\u00ae<\/sup> (RQ) study. In the ranking, Samsung earned the highest spot of any technology company.*<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of us at Samsung are honored by this recognition,\u201d said Gregory Lee, president and CEO, Samsung Electronics North America<\/strong>. \u201cOur reputation has always been important to us, and this ranking is a sign to us that more people are coming to know the people and the brand behind Samsung\u2019s great technology and products.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is Samsung\u2019s fourth consecutive year in the RQ most visible companies rankings, and the company\u2019s first year in the top five.<\/p>\n

In the ranking, companies are rated on their reputation in six different areas \u2013 emotional appeal, financial performance, products and services, social responsibility, vision and leadership and workplace environment. The reputations of the 100 most visible companies in this year\u2019s study range from \u201cexcellent\u201d (scores of 80+) to \u201cpoor\u201d (scores of 50 to 64).
