Deloitte Global predicts that, at the largest tech companies, the proportion of the workforce that\u2019s female will reach nearly 33% in 2022 \u2013 an increase of 2% over the year prior. Gender disparities also prevail in Web3 too. The whole idea behind the open, decentralized model for the metaverse is to create a space for equal opportunity. But women builders and creators are among the minority in the highly male-dominated space. In fact, art market research firm ArtTactic noted that only 16% of NFT sales went to female artists in 2021.<\/p>\n
