From interactive displays<\/a> that enhance classroom learning to an indoor LED video scoreboard<\/a> in the school gym that elevates school spirit during games, Christopher Columbus High School has installed around 300 Samsung displays<\/a> that reimagine the campus experience and prepare students for an increasingly digital world.<\/p>\n

Christopher Columbus High School installed nearly 300 Samsung displays across its 19-acre campus, including in its state-of-the-art robotics, engineering, science, art and music studios.<\/p><\/div>\n

The vision for a connected campus<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Christopher Columbus High School\u2019s unique curriculum aims to prepare students for future success in college and their professional careers. In fact, the school implemented a five-year lifecycle policy for all campus technology to ensure its infrastructure keeps up with an ever-changing tech landscape. This initiative was further amplified when Alex Seage, Senior Director of Technology & Innovation at Christopher Columbus High School, joined the administration in 2021 as he oversaw the deployment of all-new Samsung display<\/a> technology throughout the campus.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Working with Samsung<\/a>, Seage and his IT team replaced the school\u2019s outdated interactive whiteboards with over one hundred Samsung Interactive Displays<\/a>, which were installed in every classroom. The seamless setup enabled educators to immediately use the technology as a means to bolster their lesson plans without receiving any additional training. Educators can now stream content, make annotations and access lesson files directly on the displays, making classes more immersive and interactive. The technology also empowers them to help students overcome learning challenges in real-time, as they\u2019re able to wirelessly connect to the Interactive Display<\/a>, mirror their screen and collaborate from their own laptops and mobile devices, regardless of the device\u2019s operating system. As a result, educators can embrace asynchronous pedagogy that ultimately makes students more engaged and excited to learn.<\/p>\n
