Samsung Electronics America<\/a> today announced its 2023 Smart Monitor<\/a> lineup. The new Samsung M8<\/a>, M7<\/a>, and M5 Smart Monitors<\/a> (M80C, M70C, M50C) allow users to tailor their monitor to their unique style and needs, as they watch, play, and work<\/a>. The 2023 lineup includes the next generation of the award-winning<\/a> Smart Monitor M8<\/a> in 32-inch and a new 27-inch screen size, available in four stylish color options<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n

Redefining the Smart Monitor and monitor entertainment<\/h5>\n

The 2023 Smart Monitor M8 received multiple upgrades and feature enhancements from the previous generation.<\/a> Users can expect superb picture quality with 4K resolution<\/a>, HDR 10+1<\/a><\/sup>, and 400nit brightness, and the M8 and M7 support color coverage up to 99% sRGB color gamut to bring all content to life in brilliant color for content creators.<\/p>\n

The M8 and M7 have been redesigned so that they fit nearly anywhere in the home. With a new Iconic Slim Design, the M8 and M7 have a flat, super slim back of 11.39mm thick. The ergonomic, slim design provides any workspace with utility and style. To further elevate its looks, the back of the M8 and M7 displays have a herringbone pattern design. The height-adjustable stand with tilt helps M8 and M7 users adjust the angle whenever they need to, and the screen can now rotate 90 degrees to view long documents in a portrait orientation.<\/p>\n

The new line includes Samsung Smart TV features<\/a> like Samsung Gaming Hub<\/a> to play games from top streaming partners<\/a>, with no PC or gaming console needed. Additionally, users can easily connect, control, and manage<\/a> hundreds of compatible connected devices<\/a> from their Smart Monitor with a built-in SmartThings Hub<\/a>. With the SmartThings App<\/a>2<\/a><\/sup>, users can turn off lights, adjust the thermostat, and more. The M8 and M7 also include built-in voice assistants<\/a>, including Bixby<\/a> and Amazon Alexa, for easy voice control of the monitor. Far-field voice is also supported with a built-in mic, allowing users to speak directly to the monitor.<\/p>\n

Built for personalization and productivity<\/h5>\n

Now available across the 2023 Smart Monitor<\/a> lineup is My Contents \u2013 a feature that allows users to quickly access helpful information. When the monitor is on standby mode and detects a registered smartphone<\/a> through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the screen lights up with the user\u2019s photos, calendar, weather and more. The monitor resumes standby mode when the smartphone<\/a> is out of range.<\/p>\n\n

The M8 has a removeable, magnetic camera so users can connect wirelessly with no additional purchase necessary.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Multi View now allows you to use Microsoft 365 and the Browser app in full screen mode to reduce switching between apps5<\/a><\/sup>. Samsung Smart Monitors<\/a> can wirelessly connect to Apple devices to view content from an iPhone, iPad, and Mac on a bigger screen6<\/a><\/sup>. To enhance the interface of all the 2023 Smart Monitors<\/a>, mouse and keyboard control functionality has been added to many apps, including SmartThings<\/a> and Smart Hub<\/a>. Users can now maintain full control<\/a>, while exploring their favorite content without needing a remote.<\/p>\n

With four ports, users can connect completely to the Smart Monitor<\/a> without any adapters to charge devices, transmit data, or make the most out of a multi-screen setup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elegant designs for every style and space<\/h5>\n

The M8, M7 and M5 will be available in 32- and 27-inch sizes, The M8 with UHD resolution and 400nit brightness is available in Warm White, Daylight Blue, Sunset Pink, and Spring Green options. The M7 with UHD resolution and 300nit brightness comes in Warm White while the M5 with Full HD resolution comes in a sleek Black or White color option.<\/p>\n
