No downloads, no waiting, no console required. Compatible with game controllers and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsung.com\/us\/computing\/monitors\/gaming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Samsung devices<\/a> that players already own.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we\u2019re excited to reflect on the first steps that Samsung Gaming Hub has taken to deliver on that promise, and share a first look at the new brand identity rolling out worldwide in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung Gaming Hub brings the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsung.com\/us\/game-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best of gaming<\/a> together, invites players to come as they are, and empowers those players with more options in how they want to play: whether it\u2019s using their Samsung Smart TV remote to play arcade classics like <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-gaming-hub-portfolio-expands-to-nearly-3000-games-with-launch-of-antstream-arcade-and-blacknut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pac-Man and Space Invaders<\/a>, or digging in for a full Halo campaign with a PlayStation DualSense controller.<\/p>\n<p>Our first year has given our team much to be proud of; we have broadened access to game streaming around the world \u2013 players across nine territories can access high-quality game streaming on over 21 million <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsung.com\/us\/computing\/monitors\/gaming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Samsung devices<\/a> \u2013 giving new and established players more choices to \u2018just play\u2019 on their own terms. Monthly Active Users have grown on Samsung Gaming Hub, with a thirteenfold increase from July 2022 to May 2023. There\u2019s something for everyone on Samsung Gaming Hub.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More Partners:<\/strong> In addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-opens-free-to-play-gaming-zones-with-xbox-microsoft-in-london-new-york\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Xbox<\/a>, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Utomik &#8211; Samsung Gaming Hub added <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-amazon-luna-gaming-hub-2022-smart-tvs-smart-monitor-series-now-available\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon Luna<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-gaming-hub-portfolio-expands-to-nearly-3000-games-with-launch-of-antstream-arcade-and-blacknut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antstream Arcade and Blacknut<\/a> as streaming partners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More Screens<\/strong>: After launching on 2022 Samsung <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsung.com\/us\/tvs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Smart TVs<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsung.com\/us\/monitors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monitors<\/a>, we introduced <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-expands-game-streaming-4k-holiday-bundles-backwards-compatibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">backwards compatibility<\/a> for partner apps with 2021 Smart TVs giving tens of millions of players access to their favorite games and services on Samsung devices &#8211; no console or PC required. Samsung Gaming Hub is also available across our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsung.com\/us\/tvs\/#meetthelineup?r=true&amp;referrer=usnewsroom\">2023 TV lineup<\/a>, and the newest <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-opens-new-era-of-oled-gaming-with-odyssey-oled-g9\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Odyssey OLED G9<\/a>, the world\u2019s first 49\u201d OLED monitor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More Regions:<\/strong> Samsung Gaming Hub is available in Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the U.S. and the U.K., with availability in more regions coming soon. In European countries that don\u2019t currently support the Gaming Hub, cloud gaming apps can be downloaded from the TV App Store and accessed through the Samsung Smart Hub.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More Ways to Pick Up and Play<\/strong>: Samsung Gaming Hub and partner apps through the Smart Hub are compatible with 90% of Bluetooth controllers on the market. We\u2019ve even worked with partners to make some games playable with mobile virtual controllers from <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-expands-game-streaming-4k-holiday-bundles-backwards-compatibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon Luna<\/a>, or by using your Samsung TV remote to play games from <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-gaming-hub-portfolio-expands-to-nearly-3000-games-with-launch-of-antstream-arcade-and-blacknut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antstream and Blacknut<\/a>. They could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsung.com\/us\/game-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018just play\u2019<\/a> the games that they want to play. Creators and journalists who were skeptical about game streaming said that if they didn\u2019t know they were streaming games through the Gaming Hub, then they would have believed they were playing on a console. In one year we went from proving the technology works to players asking us about \u201cwhat\u2019s next\u201d for Samsung Gaming Hub.
