RIDGEFIELD PARK, NY \u2013 May 18, 2015<\/span> \u2013 <\/span>Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a leading innovator in home appliances<\/span>, is supporting its latest product innovations with a national marketing campaign featuring Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.\u00a0 <\/span>The campaign, which debuts this week, shows Kristen and Dax in their new home, as they live their busy lives and juggle the joys and demands of a growing family.\u00a0 <\/span>As they get ready to host a last minute housewarming dinner party, Samsung\u2019s kitchen, laundry and cleaning products make planning and clean-up a snap and insure a perfect evening.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cKristen and Dax embody a new generation of homeowners for whom technology is a given and high performing, stylish appliances are a must,\u201d said John Herrington, Senior Vice President, General Manager of Home Appliances at Samsung<\/strong>. \u201cThey are spending more time at home entertaining and want innovations that surprise and delight them, and make their lives more convenient.\u00a0 <\/span>For Kristen and Dax, an evening spent getting ready for guests with Samsung\u2019s new appliances could not be easier or more fun.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Developed by McKinney New York and directed by Tucker Gates<\/strong>, the campaign consists of a 60-second spot showcasing a suite of Samsung home appliance products, and two 30-second spots focused on Samsung\u2019s laundry and refrigerator innovations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 60-second ad features Samsung Dual Door\u2122 Range with Flex Duo Technology<\/span><\/a><\/span>, <\/span>with Kristen putting a tray of kale chips into the top of the range and a tray of lasagna into the bottom to highlight the ease of simultaneously cooking two dishes in two separate compartments at different temperatures.\u00a0 <\/span>It also includes Dax using the bottom right compartment of the Samsung 23 cu. ft. Capacity Counter Depth 4DoorFlex Refrigerator<\/span><\/a><\/span>,<\/span> which can convert from refrigerator to freezer and back again thanks to Cool Select Plus technology.\u00a0 <\/span>In this case, Dax is looking for leftover frozen Christmas gravy, but the compartment has been switched to a refrigerator to hold more wine for the party.\u00a0 <\/span>Other featured products include the <\/i>Samsung activewash<\/span>TM<\/sup><\/span> Top Load Washer<\/span><\/a><\/span>, <\/span>with a convenient built-in sink with water jet and gentle scrubbing surface in the washer lid for pre-treating clothes;\u00a0 <\/span>the Samsung Dishwasher with WaterWall\u2122 Technology<\/span><\/a>, which offers\u00a0 <\/span>the convenience of washing your dirtiest dishes and delicate stemware safely at the same time without having to do multiple loads; and the Samsung POWERbot<\/span> Robotic Vacuum<\/span><\/a>, which delivers 60 times greater suction<\/span>1 <\/sup><\/span>for superior cleaning on multiple surfaces. <\/span><\/p>\n

The two 30-second spots featuring the Samsung activewash\u2122 Top Load Washer and the Samsung 4DoorFlex Refrigerator round out the campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kristen and Dax were also featured as part of a Samsung Mobile holiday advertising campaign in December 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n
