Designed with the needs of retailers in mind, the Galaxy Tab Active5<\/a> features a high-resolution camera, near-field communication (NFC) and push-to-talk functionality to enable more efficient barcode-scanning, mobile point-of-sale (mPOS), in-store communication and more. Drops, spills and dust are no match for the Galaxy Tab Active5<\/a>. The device can now withstand drops of 1.5m on its own and 1.8m in its protective case,1<\/a><\/sup> providing employees a greater level of confidence when stocking high shelves or using the device on forklifts. For added protection, the Galaxy Tab Active5<\/a> also features Corning\u00ae Gorilla\u00ae Glass 5 for upgraded durability and scratch resistance on the display.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Tab Active5<\/a> is IP68-rated2<\/a><\/sup> for water and dust resistance and is compliant with MIL-STD-810H3<\/a><\/sup> certification \u2013 providing protection against altitudes, temperatures, vibration and humidity.
