Samsung Electronics America<\/a> today announced Installment payments will be available to Samsung Wallet<\/a> users in select states 1<\/a><\/sup> beginning July 25 with expansion to all states planned by the end of 2025. Building on the recent rollout of Tap to Transfer<\/a>,2<\/a><\/sup> the new feature offers greater flexibility and convenience when paying in-store with Samsung Wallet<\/a> by allowing the customer to separate their purchase into smaller payments.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur phones go with us everywhere, so we\u2019re making the Samsung Wallet<\/a> experience as helpful as possible,\u201d said Drew Blackard<\/a>, Senior Vice President of Mobile Product Management at Samsung Electronics America. \u201cAs a comprehensive tool for all of your digital essentials, Wallet<\/a> is all about flexibility and convenience, and with the addition of Installment payments, we\u2019re making the payment experience even more versatile, providing users with options to make purchases on their own terms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Powered by a partnership with Splitit<\/a>,3<\/a><\/sup> there is no need to apply for a new account or undergo a credit check to use the new feature.4<\/a><\/sup> When making a purchase using Samsung Wallet<\/a>, simply tap the \u201cPay in installments\u201d option that appears under any of your eligible credit cards.5<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

After completing the purchase in-store, select from four different installment plans6<\/a><\/sup> to find an option that meets your budget and preferred timeline. After the transaction is complete, you can keep tabs on all payments directly in Samsung Wallet<\/a>.<\/p>\n
