Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the global debut of its all-new large-screen Odyssey G7 monitors<\/a> at Gamescom 2025, the world\u2019s largest gaming event held in Cologne, Germany from Aug. 20th<\/sup> to Aug. 24th<\/sup>. Alongside the new G7 models<\/a>, Samsung is also showcasing its growing glasses-free Odyssey 3D<\/a> gaming ecosystem and new partnerships with major game publishers and developers and leading game studios.<\/p>\n

In the first quarter of 2025, Samsung once again led the market with an 18.9% global market share and is poised to continue its leadership for seven years straight, according to the latest data from the International Data Corporation (IDC).1<\/sup><\/a> In Europe, Samsung is setting the pace for the regional gaming monitor market with a 24.6% market share.<\/p>\n

The new Odyssey G7 (G75F model)<\/a> is available in two sizes: a 37\u201d 4K UHD (3,840×2,160) with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and Samsung\u2019s first 40\u201d Wide UHD (WUHD), offering 5K2K (5,120×2,160) resolution with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It expands consumer options for large gaming monitors beyond the existing 32- and 43-inch 4K resolution monitors.<\/p>\n
