Starting today, Samsung Electronics is expanding its partnership with Coinbase, the nation\u2019s leading cryptocurrency exchange, to bring user-friendly crypto access to Galaxy<\/a> users in the U.S. The partnership, initially announced in July<\/a>, allows Coinbase users in the U.S. to purchase crypto directly in-app with Samsung Pay \u2014 offering users more options for managing their investments and accessing money on Samsung\u2019s easy to use and secure platform.<\/p>\n

Samsung Wallet<\/a> users will also now have special access to a free 3-month subscription to\u00a0Coinbase One<\/a>, a premium membership experience offering zero trading fees on select assets, boosted staking rewards, and exclusive partner offers.1<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0Additionally, Samsung Wallet users can receive a free $25 credit after placing their first trade on Coinbase.2<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n

Samsung Wallet<\/a> enables each of these experiences and we\u2019re continuing to expand its functionality,\u201d said Drew Blackard, Senior Vice President of Mobile Product Management at Samsung Electronics America. \u201cWith our Coinbase partnership, Galaxy<\/a> users have a simple and streamlined way to access crypto from a leader in the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

With this partnership and Coinbase\u2019s Samsung Pay integration now live for users in the U.S., Samsung Wallet<\/a> becomes an even more convenient tool. With Samsung Wallet<\/a>, users can view their crypto holdings, make mobile transactions, installment payments,4<\/sup><\/a> and peer-to-peer transfers,5<\/sup><\/a> as well as consolidate their digital essentials \u2014 including IDs<\/a>, memberships,\u00a0digital keys<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether with Samsung, we\u2019re pairing their global scale with Coinbase\u2019s trusted platform to deliver the best value for people to access crypto \u2014 starting with more than 75 million of Galaxy users across the U.S., and soon around the world,\u201d said Shan Aggarwal, Chief Business Officer, Coinbase.<\/p>\n

  2. Navigate to the \u2018All\u2019 tab (bottom right of the Samsung Wallet home screen)<\/li>\n
