The finals, held at Samsung\u2019s Technical Training Center in New Jersey, featured the best of the best technicians from their respective areas.<\/p>\n<p>The competition challenged participants to simulate real-world customer service scenarios, including diagnose an issue as if they were working in a customer\u2019s home, replace part, with an emphasis on speed and accuracy and engage in a customer-based scenario to demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to thank Samsung for the opportunity to compete on a national scale and be able to bring home an accolade as prestigious as this. This is the ultimate culmination of a journey living for the singular purpose of service excellence,\u201d said Alex Nahum, skills competition winner from Samsung Electronics America.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe competition was a good experience to confirm I&#8217;m on the right track and that I am providing the best service possible and the customer is being taken care of,\u201d said David Seiko, skills competition winner from Samsung Electronics Canada. \u201cI thank Samsung for offering this opportunity to see their headquarters, to see their team and see how it all works.\u201d<\/p>\n<h5><strong>MX Repair Techs Push Speed, Skill and Service to New Levels<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>At the 5<sup>th<\/sup> annual Samsung MX Repair Competition, Samsung brough together 13 of the nation\u2019s most skilled device technicians at Samsung\u2019s campus in Plano, Texas. The competition featured three phases; diagnosis to determine the issue, repairing the issue and an assessment, which included accuracy, speed and quality of work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is my third time competing and I think it\u2019s helping me become a better technician. Even though I was selected to be here as one of the best techs in the county, I did some extra studying to refresh myself \u2013 there are always things to learn,\u201d said Andrew Coleman, first place winner from uBreakiFix in Virginia. \u201cI\u2019ve come in third and second place before, and here I am winning first place. As well as <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/stretch-your-tech-samsung-care-helps-you-make-every-dollar-count\/\">#1 rankings for customer satisfaction, service quality and ease of arranging service<\/a><a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\"><sup>3<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung TVs also achieved #1 in product quality, service quality and service experience.
