Victory Selfie transformed medal celebration experiences through athletes\u2019 self-captured images shared around the world, quickly becoming an iconic cultural moment across the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Now, it has reached a new milestone as it returned to the Paralympic Winter Games.<\/p>\n

For the first time at the Paralympic Games, Victory Selfie expanded beyond individual and pair events to all events \u2014 including team competitions. Victory Selfie was incorporated into the official medal ceremony across all events as well at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Every medal-winning athlete had the opportunity to share their individual or team triumph from their own perspective. All Victory Selfie images were taken with the Galaxy Z Flip7<\/a> Olympic Edition.<\/p>\n

Victory Selfie represents how the Paralympic Games continue to evolve \u2014 honoring tradition while embracing new ways to enhance athlete and fan experiences during the Games.<\/p>\n

By placing the phone in athletes\u2019 hands, Samsung reinforces a simple belief: athletes should be able to tell their own stories.<\/p>\n
