The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is proving to be a breath-taking example of Samsung’s latest innovations at work. Raising the bar for smartphone innovation, its revolutionary camera capabilities also rose to the challenge of harsh outdoor lighting – in the hands of GQ’s trendsetting editorial team and acclaimed photographer, Austin Malema. In GQ’s May/June issue Samsung’s most intelligent camera was used to create dynamic dual covers that capture the imagination, as well as the star power of Springbok star Makazole Mapimpi. With its technology theme in mind, the GQ team effortlessly demonstrated how the pro-grade camera and comprehensive suite of in-camera editing tools can deliver a DSLR-like experience. Packed with new AI supported features like Portrait Mode, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is built to make every photo worthy of the finest professionals’ standards. The GQ team and Austin were able to use the Galaxy S22 Ultra just like a DSLR camera as you can brighten or darken your photos with ISO settings and shutter speed, adjust white balance to make your photo warmer or cool. You can also manually focus on your desired subject to get your images looking exactly the way you want.

“The Samsung Z2 and Z4 brings a simplified mobile experience to first-time smartphone users and represents our ongoing commitment to expanding the Tizen ecosystem,” said Craig Fleischer, Samsung’s Director of Integrated Mobility.

The Samsung Z2 and Z4 devices are equipped with a front and rear camera, which is optimised for social media use, and it also has a wide range of features focused on convenience and productivity, including quick and easy access to the most frequently used functions.

It has a battery management feature, including Battery Notifications and Power Planner, to help users preserve and extend the life of their devices.

By using different combinations of buttons and swiping functionality, users are able to create shortcuts to launch convenient features such as Quick Talk, Quick Torch, Quick Launch of camera, or Quick Switch, without returning to the home screen.

The Z4’s 5-megapixel front camera includes a F2.2 lens, LED flash and a variety of camera modes. The device also has a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, which allows users to take crisp photos, even when the subject is far away.

To enter the competition, consumers simply need to purchase the new Z2 or Z4 smartphone and SMS their names, surnames and IMEI numbers to 40489. The IMEI number can be obtained by dialling *#06#, or by looking for the white sticker in the phone for the product information, such as model and serial number. The IMEI is the 15-digit number above the bar code.
