The line-up, which matches your kitchen with new designs and colour options, includes a solo and a grill microwave as well as a convection oven. The solo microwave takes care of your basic reheating, defrosting, cooking needs as well as has a special home deserts option. The grill microwave does what solo does but has the added function of Grill fry for browning and grilling at the same time, roasting and toasting your food, while the convection oven boasts the further ability cook faster with HotBlast technology and to air fry your food, which means you’ll be able to prepare your healthy meals how you want with some of the great features that the microwaves come with.

The solo, grill and convection microwaves have Samsung’s ceramic enamel interior, which means they’re highly scratch and rust resistant, 99.9% bacteria free and easy to clean¹. This not only keeps your microwave hygienic but also durable for longer. The ceramic enamel cavity comes with a 10-year warranty². The microwaves also feature electronic control, LED display, healthy cooking, auto cook, 30-sec cook and child lock. Time is valuable so it should be good to know that you can defrost frozen food rapidly with the Power Defrost function. It has options for five commonly used foods: meat, poultry, fish, vegetables and bread. You simply select the type and weight of food and it calculates the optimal defrosting time. So it takes less time to prepare ingredients, while preserving nutrients.

Cook even better with the Triple Distribution System, which ensures that everything from pizza to warm milk, comes out perfectly prepared and delicious every time thanks to three microwave distribution points, providing consistently even, thorough cooking. With its 35-litre capacity and 900-watt power output, the convection oven uses multiple heat sources and a pre-programmed Air Fry feature so your food can be cooked crispy inside and out, with only a touch of oil. This is due to the heat transfer rate being much higher than that of a normal convection oven.

Most importantly, the microwave oven ensures that your family gets all the nutrition from the food cooked in it. In conventional cooking, much of the nutrition present in the food in the form of Vitamins C and F is lost due to exposure to the atmosphere.

But when you cook in the Samsung Microwave Oven, the food retains all its nutrients. A vacuum tube called a “magnetron” generates microwaves that penetrate the food and agitate the moisture molecules present in the food. This agitation releases heat that spreads to other parts of the food, cooking it evenly, without any loss of nutritional elements. Consequently, you get healthy, oil-free food at almost one-third of the time taken by conventional cooking systems.

The microwave cooks food through microwave rays. Microwave energy penetrates food, heating water, fat and sugar molecules in food, causing the molecules in the food to move rapidly, creating frictional heat. This cooks the food efficiently. The MWO also defrosts and reheats more quickly than the gas stove, saving both energy and time.

Cookware for microwave cooking must allow microwave energy to pass through it for maximum efficiency. For your safety, do not use metal (such as stainless steel, aluminium and copper), wood and paper cookware – microwaves are reflected by metal, and this will cause sparks. Paper and wooden cookware can be burnt after being exposed to microwave rays.

However, these rays permeate ceramic, glass and porcelain (without any metal decoration). Keep in mind that heat-resistant cookware must be used for long-time cooking (over 3 minutes) to prevent the cookware from damage, resulting in melting and getting burnt.

A variation of food is suitable for microwave cooking, including fresh or frozen vegetables, fruit, pasta, rice, grains, beans, fish and meat. Sauces, custard, soups, steamed puddings, preserves and chutneys can be cooked in a Samsung microwave.
