Samsung Electronics Australia is today celebrating the honour of securing ‘Best TV Brand’ in Finder Australia’s 2023 Customer Satisfaction Awards[1]. Making history, 2023 marks Samsung’s fourth year holding the coveted title[2]; a winning streak no other TV brand has achieved.

To take out the top position, Samsung secured the highest scores against 11 competing brands – as rated by Australian consumers – in the following categories: Performance, Ease of use, Image quality, Features & Design, Value for money, and Overall experience.

According to Finder Australia’s Consumer Tech editor, Chris Jager, with high scores across the board, it’s no surprise that Samsung won Finder’s 2023 Customer Satisfaction Award in the TV category.

“Australians gave Samsung TVs 4.8 out of 5.0 for Image quality and Features & Design, and a 4.7 for Performance and Ease of use,” said Mr. Jager. “Ninety-three per cent of Samsung customers say they’d recommend a Samsung TV to a family member or friend which is a huge endorsement and should give those in the market for a new TV confidence to move forward with a purchase.”

For Samsung, the win is welcomed recognition of the brand’s continued efforts to bring the best home cinema experiences to Australians.

Finder’s 2023 Customer Satisfaction Award win proudly sits alongside a host of independently rated TV accolades recently achieved by Samsung. These include Canstar Blue’s Most Satisfied Customers Awards for both TVs and Home Theatre Systems categories (consecutive wins across 2021 and 2022 in both categories[3]), and Mozo Australia’s 2022 People’s Choice Award for Outstanding Customer Satisfaction – Television. These awards come as Samsung celebrates 17 years as the No.1 Global TV Brand[4].

Finder’s 2023 Customer Satisfaction Awards research also saw Samsung’s Refrigerator and Microwave ranges achieve Highly Commended accolades.

In the Refrigerator category, a whopping 97% of Samsung customers agree they would recommend a Samsung fridge to a family member or friend[5]. Samsung fridges scored 4.7 out of 5.0 for Ease of use, followed by a score of 4.6 for Overall experience, and Performance, and 4.5 for Value for money Product features, and Cleaning & maintenance[6].

Furthermore, 91% of Samsung customers agree they would recommend a Samsung microwave to a family member or friend[7], with the brand achieving 4.6 out of 5.0 for Performance, and 4.5 for Value for money, Cleaning & maintenance, and Overall experience.

Samsung has been announced as the winner by Australia’s most visited comparison website Finder’s 2021/22 Retail Awards for Best Rated TV Brand and Best Rated Microwave Brand.

This is the third consecutive year Samsung TVs have been rated Best Brand by the comparison site and second for Samsung microwaves, having first claimed the title in 2019.

The Finder Retail Awards are conducted in partnership with research house, Dynata, to survey thousands of Aussie consumers on their favourite brands across a range of categories. The awards recognise exceptional product experience including ease of use, performance, quality and value for money.

The award wins validate Samsung’s commitment to ensuring that Australians have access to the best technology and appliances that truly make their lives easier.

Samsung TVs were top rated for picture quality and sound quality, while also receiving a 100% recommendation rating from customers surveyed.

Samsung was also recognised as a finalist for Best Rated Robot Vacuum Cleaner Brand and Best Rated Washing Machine Brand.
