Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., global display leader and provider of the Official Art TV of Art Basel, today announced the launch of the Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Collection. The curated digital exhibition will be available exclusively on Samsung Art Store¹ and features 20 contemporary artists showcased at Art Basel Hong Kong, being held March 27-29 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre². At a dedicated booth, Samsung will demonstrate how its soon to be released Micro RGB Series, select OLED³ models, and The Frame Pro Series display each artwork in stunning detail.

Introducing the Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Collection

The Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 Collection features 25 artworks from 20 emerging and established artists represented by eight prestigious galleries: Bank, CLC Gallery Venture, Don Gallery, Tomio Koyama, Pearl Lam, Lin & Lin, Rossi & Rossi and Vacancy.

The carefully curated collection reflects the cultural dynamism and diverse viewpoints that define Hong Kong’s contemporary art scene. Highlights include:

• Chinese artistic heritage and innovation, represented through works by 11 Chinese artists spanning six decades of contemporary practice.
• Michael Najjar, “Europa” (2016). Najjar is a German painter and trained astronaut who is scheduled to participate in an upcoming spaceflight aboard Virgin Galactic’s VSS Unity.
• Sun Yitian, “Ken” (2023). Yitian’s work has been featured in major international collections, including a collaboration with Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection.
• Ha Bik Chuen, “Wheatfield A” (1994) and “Untitled” (1995). Chuen was a self-taught contemporary artist whose extensive archive spanning 500 boxes is being digitally catalogued by the Asia Art Archive for scholarly access.

An OLED TV for every Australian – Glare-Free technology expanded to OLED S90H

In 2026, Samsung has expanded its OLED size lineup by adding more size options, giving Australians more flexibility when choosing the right screen for their home. The S95H series is available in 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″ sizes, while the S90H series is offered in 42″, 48″, 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″. The S85H lineup expands to 48″, 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″.

Both the OLED S95H and S90H feature deep blacks with certified Real Black performance[7] and PANTONE Validated® life-like colour[8], ensuring deep blacks and accurate colour reproduction for authentic and immersive viewing experiences. Distinctive Designs for Every Living Space

New to 2026, Samsung has introduced three unique design approaches across its OLED series, enabling Australians to choose an OLED TV that best matches their personal style.

As the first OLED Art Store[11] TV, the OLED S95H features a FloatLayer Design which allows the TV to mount flush against the wall, creating a clean look that appears to float effortlessly in place. Its refined metal back-plated bezel is designed to beautifully elevate any interior, while being ready to support a Wireless One Connect Box that can deliver an optional streamlined, clutter‑free setup with an operational range of 4K transmission of 165Hz within up to a 10m range[12].

The Samsung OLED S90H’s Laser-Slim Design is comparatively discreet, with an ultra-thin profile making the TV look beautiful from every angle. Further, the OLED S85H features a Contour Design that makes the TV’s 35mm thin body look sleek from top to bottom. Its smooth flowing silhouette is reminiscent of a wave, and makes an elegant addition to any home.

New Entertainment Companion Experiences

The 2026 OLED TV range are powered by Samsung’s most advanced AI-driven processors, bringing Vision AI Companion[13] to Australian living rooms for the first time. Designed specifically for shared TV experiences, Vision AI Companion[14] enables users to interact with their TV through natural conversations, from discovering new content to receiving personalised recommendations and helpful suggestions.

This year, the OLED S95H and S90H are powered by the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, which uses 128 AI neural networks to analyse content scene-by-scene and intelligently optimise picture and sound in real time. Such AI-powered picture technologies help deliver a consistently premium viewing experience across all content sources. 4K AI Upscaling[15] intelligently reconstructs lower-resolution content to approach 4K quality, while Colour Booster Pro uses AI to analyse each scene and enhance colour expression for richer, more dynamic images[16]. Real Depth Enhancer[17] improves the perception of depth by adjusting contrast in foreground objects, creating a more lifelike viewing experience.

Motion clarity is also enhanced through AI Motion Enhancer Pro[18], which helps reduce blur and improve smoothness during fast-moving scenes such as sports broadcasts. Meanwhile, OLED HDR Pro and OLED HDR+[19] features enhance contrast and brightness to reveal greater detail in both highlights and shadows on the OLED S95H and S90H respectively.

New in 2026, AI Soccer Mode Pro[20] automatically detects live matches and optimises picture and sound for sports viewing. Player detail is sharpened while stadium ambience and commentary are balanced to create a more immersive match experience.

Complementing this is AI Sound Controller[21], which gives viewers greater control over how they hear content. The feature analyses audio in real time and separates dialogue from background effects, allowing users to adjust voice clarity or ambient sound independently to suit what they’re watching.

Built for next-generation gaming

Samsung’s 2026 OLED TVs are also engineered to deliver an ultra-responsive gaming experience.

Both the S95H and S90H support Motion Xcelerator 165Hz, enabling smoother gameplay with reduced motion blur during fast-paced action. With compatibility support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, gamers can enjoy tear-free visuals and low-latency performance for more responsive gameplay[22].

Samsung’s AI Gaming Optimiser[23] further enhances the experience by analysing gameplay in real time to detect the genre being played and automatically applying the best settings. This allows players to enjoy optimised visuals and smoother motion without navigating complex menus.

Immersive sound for a complete experience

Samsung’s OLED TVs are designed to deliver surround sound in addition to life-like visuals to create a fully immersive home cinema experience. With the integration of Q-Symphony technology[24], the OLED S95H, OLED S90H and OLED S85H models utilise Active Voice Amplifier Pro[25] to enhance voice clarity by analysing ambient noise and background sounds within the content. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced that its 2025 OLED TV S95F model has been officially certified as a Real Black display by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE), a leading electrical engineering certification institute in Germany.[1] By meeting the required standards to be genuinely considered Real Black, Samsung has proven that its OLED technology delivers a true black viewing experience.

The certification validates the OLED display’s crisp, reflection-free images[2] with near-perfect blacks measured below 0.005 nits in dark environments[3], as well as black accuracy in sunlit rooms and even under direct sunlight[4]. The result is crystal-clear visuals with rich, deep blacks in their truest form[5].

In achieving this accolade, Canstar Blue judges deemed Samsung’s Glare-Free certified technology a “game-changing breakthrough” with the potential to improve the everyday lives of customers.

Samsung Electronics today announced that its 2025 OLED TV lineup[1] will feature NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, helping to deliver ultra-smooth gameplay and low latency, to meet the needs of gaming enthusiasts worldwide.

With NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, Samsung’s 2025 OLED TVs synchronise the TV’s refresh rate with the GPU’s frame rate, reducing screen tearing and stuttering for a seamless and immersive gaming experience.[2] Paired with Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator technology, which supports refresh rates up to 165Hz[3], gamers can enjoy exceptionally fluid visuals and sharp clarity during fast-paced action scenes.

Dominance in the Premium and Ultra-Large TV Segments

Samsung Electronics Australia has today launched Clash of Commuters, a new experience that offers gamers the opportunity to play a uniquely Australian and public transport inspired map in Fortnite Creative[3], featuring national icons from the humble Bin Chicken to a Sydney train.

With 44% of Aussie gamers admitting they game while commuting to pass the time, the Clash of Commuters map enables players to experience an all-new Fortnite Creative island and allows them to defend the very thing that they commonly game on; Australian public transport.
