Samsung Australia has today unveiled its most expansive range of OLED TVs yet, bringing three series of Samsung OLED TVs – S95H, S90H, and S85H – in more sizes with brighter panels, more intelligent features, and expanded Glare-Free displays. Optimised for Australian homes and nurturing Australians’ insatiable appetite for Samsung Art TVs; Samsung’s 2026 OLED S95H comes down under as the world’s first OLED TV with access to over 5,000 pieces of the world’s best art via Samsung Art Store[1].

Elevated to bring flagship OLED performance to more Australians, Samsung’s OLED S90H joins the OLED S95H in featuring certified Glare-Free technology[2] and ultra-fast 165Hz variable refresh rate, helping deliver smoother gaming and improved viewing in bright spaces[3].

Ushering in a new era of personalised intelligent entertainment experiences, Samsung’s OLED S95H, S90H, and S85H TVs are each optimised with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion[4], a conversational AI experience designed specifically for the TV screen, enabling Australians to interact naturally with their TV while unlocking personalised recommendations and enhanced entertainment experiences.

“In 2026, Samsung has diversified the design of its OLED TV range while bringing more of our flagship innovations across the line-up and expanding size options. As a result, we have made premium OLED performance accessible to more Australians while ensuring these is a size, Glare-Free option,[5] and design suited to virtually every space in the home,” said Simon Howe, Director of AV, Samsung Australia.

“Until now, Australians who love the realistic picture quality and Glare-Free technology [6]of the Samsung OLED S95 Series have had to choose between performance and lifestyle benefits like access to Samsung Art Store or a wall-flush, framed design. This year, Samsung has brought these experiences together in the OLED S95H series, combining breathtaking OLED picture quality, powerful AI processing and thoughtful design innovations. Now Australians can further personalise their OLED TV experiences, whether they’re watching movies, gaming with friends, or displaying their favourite art.”

An OLED TV for every Australian – Glare-Free technology expanded to OLED S90H

In 2026, Samsung has expanded its OLED size lineup by adding more size options, giving Australians more flexibility when choosing the right screen for their home. The S95H series is available in 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″ sizes, while the S90H series is offered in 42″, 48″, 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″. The S85H lineup expands to 48″, 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″.

Both the OLED S95H and S90H feature deep blacks with certified Real Black performance[7] and PANTONE Validated® life-like colour[8], ensuring deep blacks and accurate colour reproduction for authentic and immersive viewing experiences. With Samsung Glare-Free sales doubling in 2025[9], Samsung has extended its certified Glare-Free technology[10] to the OLED S90H to enable the TV to benefit from diffused light, reducing reflections, stunning contrast and keeping every scene looking rich, vibrant, and true to life, even in bright rooms.

Samsung’s OLED S95H features a FloatLayer Design and Samsung Art Store.

Distinctive Designs for Every Living Space

New to 2026, Samsung has introduced three unique design approaches across its OLED series, enabling Australians to choose an OLED TV that best matches their personal style.

As the first OLED Art Store[11] TV, the OLED S95H features a FloatLayer Design which allows the TV to mount flush against the wall, creating a clean look that appears to float effortlessly in place. Its refined metal back-plated bezel is designed to beautifully elevate any interior, while being ready to support a Wireless One Connect Box that can deliver an optional streamlined, clutter‑free setup with an operational range of 4K transmission of 165Hz within up to a 10m range[12].

The Samsung OLED S90H’s Laser-Slim Design is comparatively discreet, with an ultra-thin profile making the TV look beautiful from every angle. Further, the OLED S85H features a Contour Design that makes the TV’s 35mm thin body look sleek from top to bottom. Its smooth flowing silhouette is reminiscent of a wave, and makes an elegant addition to any home.

Samsung OLED S95H is the first Samsung OLED TV to feature Samsung Art Store. Image simulated for illustrative purposes. Cables now shown.

New Entertainment Companion Experiences

The 2026 OLED TV range are powered by Samsung’s most advanced AI-driven processors, bringing Vision AI Companion[13] to Australian living rooms for the first time. Designed specifically for shared TV experiences, Vision AI Companion[14] enables users to interact with their TV through natural conversations, from discovering new content to receiving personalised recommendations and helpful suggestions.

This year, the OLED S95H and S90H are powered by the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, which uses 128 AI neural networks to analyse content scene-by-scene and intelligently optimise picture and sound in real time. Such AI-powered picture technologies help deliver a consistently premium viewing experience across all content sources. 4K AI Upscaling[15] intelligently reconstructs lower-resolution content to approach 4K quality, while Colour Booster Pro uses AI to analyse each scene and enhance colour expression for richer, more dynamic images[16]. Real Depth Enhancer[17] improves the perception of depth by adjusting contrast in foreground objects, creating a more lifelike viewing experience.

Motion clarity is also enhanced through AI Motion Enhancer Pro[18], which helps reduce blur and improve smoothness during fast-moving scenes such as sports broadcasts. Meanwhile, OLED HDR Pro and OLED HDR+[19] features enhance contrast and brightness to reveal greater detail in both highlights and shadows on the OLED S95H and S90H respectively.

New in 2026, AI Soccer Mode Pro[20] automatically detects live matches and optimises picture and sound for sports viewing. Player detail is sharpened while stadium ambience and commentary are balanced to create a more immersive match experience.

Complementing this is AI Sound Controller[21], which gives viewers greater control over how they hear content. The feature analyses audio in real time and separates dialogue from background effects, allowing users to adjust voice clarity or ambient sound independently to suit what they’re watching.

Built for next-generation gaming

Samsung’s 2026 OLED TVs are also engineered to deliver an ultra-responsive gaming experience.

Both the S95H and S90H support Motion Xcelerator 165Hz, enabling smoother gameplay with reduced motion blur during fast-paced action. With compatibility support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, gamers can enjoy tear-free visuals and low-latency performance for more responsive gameplay[22].

Samsung’s AI Gaming Optimiser[23] further enhances the experience by analysing gameplay in real time to detect the genre being played and automatically applying the best settings. This allows players to enjoy optimised visuals and smoother motion without navigating complex menus.

Pictured: Samsung’s OLED S90H. Image simulated for illustrative purposes. Cables not shown.

Immersive sound for a complete experience

Samsung’s OLED TVs are designed to deliver surround sound in addition to life-like visuals to create a fully immersive home cinema experience. With the integration of Q-Symphony technology[24], the OLED S95H, OLED S90H and OLED S85H models utilise Active Voice Amplifier Pro[25] to enhance voice clarity by analysing ambient noise and background sounds within the content. Object Tracking Sound[26] enables the TV utilises strategically positioned speakers to track motion on screen, creating a multi-directional audio experience and helping Australians feel like they are in the heart of the action.

Up to 7 Years of One UI Tizen OS Support delivering Endless Entertainment and Value

Samsung continues to expand the capabilities of its TVs through One UI Tizen OS[27], which supports up to seven years of platform upgrades, giving Australians confidence that their Samsung OLED TV will continue to evolve with new features and services over time.

Each Samsung OLED 2026 TV comes with a wide range of built-in entertainment and lifestyle experiences designed to make the TV the centre of the connected home. Through Samsung TV Plus[28], Australians can access more than 130 free live channels alongside a growing library of on-demand content spanning news, sport and entertainment. Samsung Gaming Hub[29] also provides streamlined access to cloud gaming services, allowing Australian gamers to jump straight into gameplay without the need for a console.

Beyond entertainment, Samsung Daily+ helps bring together apps and services that support everyday activities, while SmartThings integration allows users to monitor and control compatible smart home devices directly from the TV.

New to 2026, Google Photos will also be introduced, enabling Australians to display curated memories and personal photo collections as an ambient background on their TV[30]. This means OLED S95H users can select their own treasured image, choose from a world-class artwork from Samsung Art Store or use Generative Wallpaper[31] to create a bespoke image when the TV is not being watched.

Built-in support for Bixby and Amazon Alexa further enhances convenience, allowing users to search for content, control smart home devices and manage their entertainment through natural voice commands[32]. All the while, Samsung TVs are protected by Samsung Knox[33] security, providing additional peace of mind for OLED owners.

Samsung Electronics, Co., Ltd. today held the final session in its CES 2026 Tech Forum series, “The Human Side of Tech: Designing a Future Worth Living,” at Samsung’s The First Look space at The Wynn Las Vegas. The panel, moderated by Debbie Millman, host of “Design Matters,” featured Samsung Chief Design Officer Mauro Porcini and industry-leading designers Karim Rashid and Fabio Novembre.

With minimalism having defined the visual language of the tech industry for the past two decades, this panel of designers convened by Samsung asked: What comes next? Together, the panelists explored how warmer, more expressive and emotionally resonant technology can shape meaningful experiences in today’s AI era, while also charting a path forward for the industry.

Design as an Act of Love

The session covered a shared view on the purpose of design as fundamentally people-first. “In recent years, design in tech has been somewhat uniform,” said moderator Debbie Millman. “Compared to other industries, the uniformity in the world of tech is an anomaly. So what if we were to extend technology beyond specifications and functionality?”

Samsung is currently addressing this question by focusing on how technology fits into people’s lives, experiences and needs. The panelists discussed the growing importance of this mindset in the current landscape in which traditional barriers to entry such as access to tools, scale and technical capability continue to diminish.

The Human Side of Tech

The discussion highlighted technology’s role in making intention, care and humanity visible in everyday life. Panelists noted that technology should help people recognise the thoughtfulness embedded in the products they invite into their homes and routines.

In this context, Samsung Chief Design Officer Mauro Porcini shared Samsung’s design purpose: to enhance everyday lives through meaningful technology. He outlined the company’s commitment to help people through advanced technologies that support wellbeing, creativity and self-expression.

Panelist Karim Rashid added to this sentiment, saying, “When we think about physical things in our world, we think not only about diversity of choice but also the fact that we can develop strong connections to objects,” he said. “Through design, you can end up with a very powerful, emotional connection with inanimate objects, or even products.”

Designing for Human Values

The panel went on to explore how AI can unlock new possibilities for expression when shaped by human values. Panelists discussed a shared view that AI reaches its true potential when guided by Emotional Intelligence and Human Imagination, not as a replacement for human creativity but as a force that expands it.

CDO Porcini articulated this with “AI × (EI + HI),” his approach to balancing Emotional Intelligence and Human Imagination to bring meaning to innovation. While describing this philosophy, CDO Porcini said, “When we design and develop, AI is amplified by Emotional Intelligence and Human Imagination. “Then, when people use products, AI amplifies Emotional Intelligence and Human Imagination.”

Through these insights, the session reinforced the belief that technology is shaping people’s lives in increasingly new and meaningful ways.

Expressive Design Drives More Meaningful Experiences

The discussion reinforced the importance of expressive design in bringing human-centered purpose to life, creating experiences that reflect emotion, support self-expression, invite connection and stimulate imagination.

“Happiness is the aim of design,” said Fabio Novembre. “Our pursuit of happiness is through design. I strongly believe in design, and that it must move back to the centre of the stage.”

Panelists noted that this reflects a shift from merely designing objects to designing experiences where emotion, meaning and identity are increasingly integral to how people relate to technology. This approach inspires a new kind of expression, resulting in designs that range from subtle and minimal to bold and imaginative — all meant to shape a better future.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today outlined its vision for its Digital Appliances (DA) Business during a Deep Dive session at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The outline for the company’s vision comes at a time in which the global home appliance market navigates the growing importance of AI in connected living.

Led by Cheolgi Kim, Head of the DA Business, the session laid out how Samsung’s Bespoke AI appliances are seamlessly connected through SmartThings to become “Home Companions.”

These devices are equipped with Bixby voice recognition technology, screens, and cameras that allow them to see, hear and understand to proactively respond to users. This makes them capable of intelligently adapting to users’ daily lives. At the same time, intelligent adaptation extends beyond home appliances to TVs and mobile devices to build a broader AI ecosystem in which devices can fulfil the role of a true Home Companion.

“Samsung’s ultimate goal is to enable better living through Bespoke AI,” said Cheolgi Kim. “Through our extensive ecosystem that connects devices across DX products – including mobile phones and TV – and our appliances’ unique form factors, we are providing differentiated experiences to our consumers and creating more value through those experiences.”

Regional Strategies Powering Global Growth

Also during the session, JS Moon, Head of R&D at the DA Business, highlighted how Samsung is tailoring its 2026 appliance portfolio to meet regional market needs. In North America, innovative form factors like the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo continued to drive strong growth. In addition to the AI lineup, new kitchen packages featuring unified stainless-steel designs are expected to satisfy local preferences in 2026.

Latin America continues to see strong momentum led by laundry and air conditioning solutions, while rising interest in smart home ecosystems and localised AI features like regional language support and expanded AI Energy Mode represent a major growth opportunity in Asia.

“At Samsung, we aim to deliver meaningful AI experiences that are deeply aligned with local lifestyles and needs,” said EVP Moon. “As such, we will keep enhancing these regional features and expand core AI features such as AI Energy Mode to a wider range of price points and product types beyond premium lineups.”

Expanding the Role of AI in Everyday Life

Looking ahead, Samsung reaffirmed its commitment to expanding beyond traditional appliances into areas such as HVAC, modular homes, and connectivity in new aspects of daily life. By combining open collaboration, regional customisation and long-term software support, Samsung aims to deliver AI experiences that feel practical, trusted and deeply aligned with everyday lives.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. yesterday held “FAST Forward: How New Streaming Models Are Shaping the Next Generation of TV” as part of its Tech Forum

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. yesterday held “FAST Forward: How New Streaming Models Are Shaping the Next Generation of TV” as part of its Tech Forum panel series at CES 2026. Taking place at The Wynn in Las Vegas, Nevada, the panel brought together leaders from entertainment and media to explore the evolution of streaming and the rapid rise of free-ad-supported television (FAST).

The session highlighted the interconnected relationship between today’s rapidly evolving consumer behaviours and preferences, the transformation of content by technology and monetisation models, the expanding role of creators as studios and the ways in which interactive and live experiences are catalysing a shift from passive viewing into active engagement.

Moderated by Natalie Jarvey of The Ankler, the panel featured Salek Brodsky, SVP and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus; Alessandra Catanese, CEO of Smosh; and Bruce Casino, EVP, Sales & Distribution, U.S., NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution.

FAST Gains Momentum as Audiences Recalibrate Value

As audiences grapple with subscription fatigue and a fragmented streaming landscape, the panel focused on how FAST is restoring simplicity and value to television. Samsung TV Plus anchored the conversation as a platform designed to reduce friction, offering hundreds of live and on-demand channels in one free, easily accessible experience across compatible Samsung TVs and devices across the world.

“The TV experience today can often feel like too much work for the viewer,” said SVP Brodsky. “Our goal with Samsung TV Plus is to simplify television again and combine the power of linear discovery with a modern, connected experience that feels effortless, curated and truly valuable.”

The panelists emphasised that FAST has evolved into a core part of the streaming ecosystem, complementing subscription and traditional models while delivering premium, proven programming at scale. For Samsung TV Plus, that evolution is rooted in shared experiences that elevate viewing and meet users not just where they already are, but where they want to be.

Hybrid Models Redefine the Streaming Ecosystem

Panelists emphasised that the evolution of streaming is less about replacing traditional models and more about expanding how audiences engage with content. FAST, subscription and linear distribution models are increasingly working in tandem, allowing studios to extend the life of proven franchises, reach new viewers, and unlock additional value without sacrificing performance elsewhere. By leveraging data, audience behaviour and decades of content insight, media companies are deploying FAST to complement existing channels and create more resilient and diversified ecosystems.

EVP Bruce Casino highlighted how this approach has enabled NBCUniversal to bring both classic and contemporary content to FAST audiences while continuing to see strong performance across platforms. “FAST doesn’t replace traditional distribution, it extends it,” said Casino. “What we’re seeing is that when great content shows up in multiple places, it creates incremental value rather than cannibalisation – allowing franchises to thrive across FAST, streaming and linear channels.”

Creators Emerge as the New Studios

The panel also examined how the changing nature of consumer habits and television platforms means content creators do not have to work exclusively with legacy studios to reach a broad audience. As this medium expands from social platforms to the living room, FAST is helping bridge digital culture and traditional TV, while also serving to elevate its production quality.

Samsung TV Plus was highlighted as a platform that helps creators evolve from digital-first brands into full-fledged television studios, helping expand reach, unlock new monetisation opportunities, and introduce content to broader, global audiences.

One of the clearest examples of a brand that has taken the step from digital-first brand to legitimate TV studio is sketch comedy-improv collective Smosh. By launching a FAST channel with Samsung TV Plus, Smosh has been able to strengthen its connection with its already-dedicated fans while gaining access to a much larger viewer base. Due to this evolution, Smosh has enhanced long-term growth.

“Partnering with Samsung TV Plus allowed us to elevate our production quality and invest in the future of the Smosh brand,” said CEO Alessandra Catanese. “It was the right platform to help us reach a broader audience while positioning our content in a premium environment that supports where we’re headed as a company.”

Live and Interactive Experiences Drive Engagement

Looking beyond on-demand viewing, panelists discussed how live programming like concerts and interactivity are reshaping the television experience by creating shared moments that audiences actively participate in.

With features such as synchronised premieres and real-time participation, technology is transforming television from a passive activity into an interactive experience – fostering connection, excitement and a sense of belonging that brings viewers together organically. Together, the panelists agreed that the future of television will be defined by flexibility, cultural connection and experiences that invite participation, not just consumption.

“Authentic content that creates cultural connection and brings people together is what matters most,” said SVP Brodsky. “That’s why we’re investing in live events, creator programming and interactive formats that remind people why TV has always been the center of the home.”

As streaming continues to evolve, Samsung is focused on helping shape a TV ecosystem that delivers value for viewers, opportunity for creators and scale for advertisers, redefining what television can be in 2026 and beyond.

SW Yong, President and Head of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics, and Sukhmani Mohta, Chief Marketing and Partnerships Officer, VD Business at Samsung Electronics America took the stage to describe how Samsung’s displays are combining hardware excellence and visual intelligence to provide a true entertainment companion. Drawing from twenty years of leading the TV industry, Samsung has built a full AI TV lineup that provides an entirely new way for users to interact with their TV.

The centre of the display lineup is the 130-inch Micro RGB, which represents a monumental leap in scale and picture quality. The 130-inch Micro RGB marks a new era of colour, featuring the widest and most detailed spectrum ever seen in Samsung TVs while its Timeless Frame design helps to minimise distractions and allows the picture to take centre stage with understated elegance. A micro-sized RGB light source drives the incredible picture quality, with each micro-sized red, green, and blue diode shining independently to produce colour in its purest, most natural form. Micro RGB AI Engine Pro[1] enables precise control of RGB colors and creates overwhelmingly vivid picture quality in virtually every scene.

Elevating this next-level viewing experience, Vision AI Companion (VAC)[2] uses AI technology to work alongside users as an entertainment companion to enhance viewing.

Samsung also offers intuitive modes to personalise the viewing experience. For soccer fans, AI Soccer Mode Pro delivers a more exciting gameday experience through AI-driven picture and sound tuning to near stadium-level quality. AI Sound Controller Pro[3] lets you raise or lower the volume of the crowd, commentary, or background music, providing a personalised listening experience for TV shows and movies. Users can simply make verbal requests, and any TV equipped with VAC – which includes Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, and UHD TV[4] – contextually carries out those requests.

The Movingstyle is designed to move easily throughout the home and kitchen appliances, for a multi-device experience achieved through complete ecosystem integration.

Samsung has led the global soundbar market for 11 consecutive years[5]. This year, it is introducing two new WiFi speakers, the Music Studio 5 and 7, to further expand its integrated ecosystem. These models support a wider range of sound system combinations, enhance audiovisual quality, and improve the aesthetics of any space. Each model shares a timeless, dot design concept by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec, inspired by a universal symbol in music and art, and grounded in Samsung’s signature design language.

Samsung also unveiled a host of new products that blend beautifully with users’ homes and aesthetics. The new, ultra-thin Samsung OLED S95H features a refined bezel that gives it art gallery elegance, and Samsung’s new portable projector, The Freestyle+, supported by VAC, allows users to view content on walls and ceilings, as well as uneven surfaces like corners and curtains.

The 2026 TV lineup[6] supports HDR10+ ADVANCED, delivering enhanced brightness, genre-based optimisation, intelligent motion smoothing, advanced local tone mapping, and improved gaming experience.

Samsung also unveiled its most advanced Odyssey gaming monitor lineup yet, introducing five new models that push the boundaries of resolution, refresh rate, and immersive visual performance. Led by Samsung’s first 6K 3D Odyssey G9, the 2026 lineup debuts Samsung’s first display technologies for gamers and creators, including the next-generation Odyssey G6 and three new Odyssey G8 models.

At the centre of all these display innovations is the most powerful Tizen OS[7] yet. Users can now enjoy seven years of Tizen OS upgrades, ensuring that TVs continue to evolve long after they have entered the home.

Home Companion: Connected Smart Appliances That Guide You Through Your Day

Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances (DA) Division at Samsung Electronics, and Elizabeth Anderson, Head of Integrated Marketing, DA at Samsung Electronics America (SEA) outlined Samsung’s vision to evolve from providing home appliances to true home companions that work to eliminate the stress of daily chores. The AI-enabled Family Hub refrigerator is the centerpiece of the home and now, with an upgrade to AI Vision built with Google Gemini, it refines living for an AI future. With this update, AI Vision unlocks existing limitations in recognising food items, seamlessly tracking what is placed into and taken out of the refrigerator, making meal planning and food management simpler than ever. The Family Hub has won 10 CES Innovation Awards, while Samsung’s AI-enabled fridges have received the award for the past three years.

Through a gamified “What’s for Today?”[8], select refrigerators provide recipe recommendations based on what is in the refrigerator or also random recommendations, reducing the stress caused by choosing what to cook. When selected, recipes show up through SmartThings Food, where users receive a step-by-step guide to help them get started instantly. The selected recipe can also be sent to connected cooking appliances to begin the process seamlessly. Video to Recipe[9] adds even more simplicity, providing users with recommended cooking videos and converting those videos into easy-to-follow steps, allowing users to follow along while they cook without pausing the video or backtracking.

Samsung also unveiled FoodNote[10], a new weekly report that recaps users’ food intake patterns, from most-used ingredients and recipe recommendations, and which items it’s time to restock. Additionally, Now Brief[11] includes more widgets on the Family Hub screen and with Voice ID[12], can distinguish between family members to display content relevant to each individual. Ultimately, these features work together to provide helpful insights and information throughout the week.

In the laundry room, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo removes the need to transfer loads of laundry, solving a major pain point for households. This year’s model comes with enhanced features like a faster super speed cycle and enhanced drying performance. Moreover, Samsung’s new Bespoke AI AirDresser is here to solve another common problem with your clothes. It features Auto Wrinkle Care, which blasts strong air and steam jets to smooth out shirts. All users have to do is hang their shirt and wait, reducing the burden in busy mornings.

Around the house, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, features an Active Stereo 3D Sensor to recognise liquids like coffee, juice, or even transparent liquids like water. While its camera helps with navigation, it also allows the robot vacuum to serve as a monitoring device for when users are away from home. Plus, with a smarter Bixby[13], users can speak conversationally to their robot vacuum to carry out tasks with ease. For the deep level of connectivity and integration that forms the backbone of a holistic, AI-powered experience, Samsung’s Bespoke AI appliances have received a CES Innovation Award.

Care Companion: Shifting From Reactive to Proactive Care

Finally, Praveen Raja, Vice President and Head of Digital Health at Samsung Research America (SRA), introduced Samsung’s long-term vision for intelligent care enabled by Samsung’s integrated device ecosystem, redefining care as a reactive need to a proactive opportunity.

For example, Samsung aims to provide a personalised wellness experience by deepening integration within its ecosystem, offering effective exercise, sleep coaching and suggesting appropriate recipes based on ingredients available in connected refrigerators.

Samsung Knox and Knox Matrix serve as the foundation of this hyper-personalised ecosystem, safeguarding user data at every turn. As AI is constantly evolving, so are Knox and Knox Matrix. To maintain security despite constant changes, Samsung’s security systems are consistently identifying AI risks by advancing to protect data in AI training processes and approving models through red team analysis.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today unveiled the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV (R95H model)[1] at CES 2026, marking the debut of Samsung’s largest Micro RGB display and a timeless new design for ultra-premium displays.

“Micro RGB represents the peak of our picture quality innovation, and the new 130-inch model takes that vision even further,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re reviving the spirit of our original design philosophy introduced more than a decade ago to deliver an unmistakably premium display, engineered with technology for a new generation.”

Timeless Design That Redefines What a TV Can Be

The Micro RGB TV’s commanding scale, next-generation colour technology and striking design approach reflect Samsung’s longstanding leadership in engineering excellence united with premium aesthetics. With a monumental frame and improved audio performance, the 130-inch display is intentionally designed to appear less like a television and more like a vast, immersive window that visually expands the room.

The TV offers a modern, gallery-inspired aesthetic through the Timeless Frame, a modern evolution of Samsung’s 2013 Timeless Gallery design, now with a refined frame that embodies the philosophy of “technology as art.” Inspired by the frame of a grand architectural window, the ultra-large screen appears to float within its borders, transforming the TV into an artistic centerpiece that shapes the room. Sound integrated into the display’s frame is carefully balanced to the screen’s size, so picture and audio feel naturally connected in a space.

Ultimate Viewing Experience to Match Its Scale

The 130-inch Micro RGB model features Samsung’s most advanced Micro RGB innovations to date. Powered by Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro[2] and Micro RGB HDR Pro, it leverages AI to enhance dull tones and refine contrast, delivering vivid colour and subtle detail across bright and dark scenes alike for realism and picture fidelity.

The display elevates picture performance with Micro RGB Precision Colour 100[3], delivering 100% of the BT.2020 wide color gamut. Certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for precise Micro RGB colour reproduction, it produces finely controlled hues that appear true to life on screen. The 130-inch model also includes Samsung’s proprietary Glare Free[4] technology, which helps to minimise reflections, further preserving clear colour and contrast across a variety of lighting conditions for the best viewing experience.

The product supports HDR10+ ADVANCED[5] and Eclipsa Audio to provide an enhanced picture and sound quality, as well as Samsung’s enhanced Vision AI Companion,[6] enabling access to AI features and apps such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Generative Wallpaper and Microsoft Copilot. The first-of-its-kind display will be showcased at Samsung’s Exhibition Zone during CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Samsung Electronics today announced the global launch of The Freestyle+, its latest AI-powered portable projector designed to deliver a more flexible and personalised entertainment experience across a wide range of spaces.

Unveiled ahead of CES 2026 in Las Vegas, The Freestyle+ builds on the distinctive design of the original Freestyle while introducing improved AI capabilities, improved brightness and expanded entertainment features, allowing users to enjoy content more freely, with minimal setup or adjustment.

“The Freestyle+ reflects Samsung’s vision to create displays that adapt to how people live and move between spaces,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “By combining true portability with AI that optimises both the viewing environment and the content itself, The Freestyle+ makes it easier to enjoy a consistent, high-quality experience wherever you are.”

Smarter AI That Lets You Point and Play Instantly

At the core of The Freestyle+ is AI OptiScreen, Samsung’s AI-powered screen optimisation technology that automatically adjusts the picture to different spaces, so users can simply point, place and start watching.

AI OptiScreen includes a set of intelligent features designed to automatically optimise the picture across different surfaces and environments:

3D Auto Keystone automatically corrects distortion even when projecting onto uneven or non-flat surfaces, such as corners, curtains or angled walls

Real-time Focus continuously adjusts focus as the projector moves or rotates, helping maintain clear, stable images reducing blurring or visual noise

Screen Fit automatically adjusts the image to match the screen area when used with a compatible projector screen accessory

Wall Calibration analyses the colour or pattern of the projection surface and minimises visual distractions for clearer viewing

This intelligent viewing experience is further supported by Vision AI Companion features, which integrates enhanced Bixby with AI services.

Light to Carry, Designed for Everyday Viewing

Designed with portability in mind, The Freestyle+ features a compact cylindrical form factor that is easy to move between rooms or take on the go. Designed for everyday viewing, The Freestyle+ lets users move it freely without worrying about whether the space is “right” for projection. Its 180-degree rotating design

supports projection at various angles, including walls, floors and ceilings, without additional mounts or accessories. The enables The Freestyle+ to be flexible in various viewing setups by adapting naturally to different rooms and moments throughout the day.

On-the-Go Entertainment with Immersive Sound

Designed for moments beyond the living room, The Freestyle+ brings entertainment with you without relying on additional external devices or fixed setups. Built-in access to Samsung TV Plus[1] and Samsung Gaming Hub[2] allows users to stream, play and explore content directly from the projector without the need for external devices.
