Honoring its commitment to making technology more accessible for people with disabilities, Samsung Electronics Iberia, S.A.U. has announced that its Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note10 devices have received an accessibility certification from Spain-based NGO Fundación ONCE (the ONCE Foundation). The Amovil seal is part of a project developed by the ONCE Foundation in collaboration with universal accessibility consultancy ILUNION Tecnología y Accesibilidad, whose objective is to provide information about the accessibility features of commercial smartphones.

A Leader in Accessibility

Samsung is the first manufacturer to receive the ONCE Foundation’s seal of accessibility, which affirms that Samsung devices meet universal accessibility standards. This achievement is the result of close collaboration between Samsung and the ONCE Foundation, with the organizations aiming to use technology as a tool to support the autonomy of people living with disabilities and improve their quality of life.

“We are very proud to be the first to receive the ONCE Foundation seal of accessibility, which is another sign of our efforts to make all our products accessible to as many people as possible,” said Alfonso Fernández, head of Marketing, Corporate Communication and Institutional Relations at Samsung Electronics Iberia. Meanwhile, Jesús Hernández, head of Universal Accessibility and Innovation at the ONCE Foundation, stressed that, “This certification has been established to meet the demands of the many institutions that want to know if the technology they purchase is responsible or not. Samsung is well-aware of how important it is to ensure that its devices are accessible to as much of the population as possible.”

Striving for Accessibility in the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note10

The Galaxy S20 family, consisting of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra, has been certified by the ONCE Foundation as providing accessibility features for people with zero and partial vision, zero and partial hearing, moderate and severe manipulation difficulties, difficulty seeing colors and speech difficulties. In addition, all of the Galaxy S20 models include a comprehensive accessibility menu to help users find the features they’re looking for quickly and easily. Users are also afforded the option to activate accessibility functions – such as the screen reader – when they first turn their devices on. The entire Galaxy S20 range also includes 5G connectivity, which allows users to download content faster, without delays or interruptions, even while conducting video calls or viewing live content.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Note10 incorporates accessibility features for people with zero and partial vision, zero and partial hearing, moderate or severe manipulation difficulties, color blindness, and speech difficulties. It also includes an S Pen that allows users to take notes and create precise sketches, facilitating the completion of a wide range of tasks.

Samsung’s Broader Commitment to Accessibility

Samsung Electronics Iberia, S.A.U.’s commitment to accessibility is part of its corporate “Tecnología con Propósito” program, which seeks to positively impact the greatest number of people possible by harnessing technology to break down barriers. In Spain, these efforts extend to such important areas as education and culture, welfare, entrepreneurship and employability. In order to best serve these efforts, Samsung is constantly seeking partnerships with prominent associations such as the ONCE Foundation, among others, in order to promote inclusion and technological progress.

For more information on the different Samsung accessibility resources available, check out Samsung’s dedicated accessibility page here.

Samsung Electronics announced it will bring new, innovative features found on its flagship Galaxy S20 series to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note10 series through an upcoming software update1 starting from March. Users will be able to capture content with the latest Galaxy camera software technology, including Single Take mode. Additionally, users will have access to a variety of software enhancements that make the entire Galaxy experience even more enjoyable.

Let’s dive into how select Galaxy S20 features will work on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note10.

Advanced Photo and Video Experiences

This software update brings select Galaxy S20 photo and video experiences to the Galaxy S10 and Note10 series. With Single Take, stay in the moment while you capture the moment using integrated AI technology. Single Take uses the camera system and AI to capture a number of photos and videos at once and recommends the best shot for you2.

With an improved Night Mode on the Galaxy S10 series, and the addition of Night Hyperlapse on both Galaxy S10 and Note10 series3, you’ll be able to capture even more amazing photos and videos even in low light.

When you’ve captured that perfect image, Custom Filter lets you create your own filter with colors and styles you like from a favorite photo serving as inspiration. This creates a reusable filter that can be applied to future photos when captured.

Single Take available on the Galaxy S10 (left), Single Take in the Gallery on the Galaxy Note10

Custom Filter introduction on the Galaxy S10 (left), How Custom Filter is used on the Galaxy Note10

For the aspiring filmmaker, Pro Video gives you even more control, allowing you to adjust settings like ISO, shutter speed and exposure level. You can also switch between the front and rear cameras while recording video.

Pro Video now available on the Galaxy S10 (left), Shooting video in Pro Video mode on the Galaxy Note10

Intelligent Gallery

This update also brings a variety of gallery features to help you organize your content. Thanks to AI technology, with Clean View enabled, the Gallery app automatically groups together similar shots of the same subject for a more organized gallery4. Users can easily review similar shots and select their favorite to serve as the photo group’s thumbnail. When viewing a photo in the gallery, you can zoom in on an image and press Quick Crop, located at the top left-hand corner, to crop photos to your desired size.

Tap the highlighted icon to group/ungroup gallery images on the Galaxy S10 (left), Clean View after grouping images on the Galaxy Note10

Easy Sharing Capabilities5

You can now share more content quickly. With Quick Share, you can see which of your contacts are nearby and share photos, videos, or even large files with multiple people. With Music Share, you can extend your paired Bluetooth connection and you don’t need to disconnect for a friend to play their music on a speaker or car stereo.

Quick Share and Music Share available on the Galaxy S10 (left), Quick Share and Music Share available on the Galaxy Note10

Perhaps unsurprisingly, some of the most popular content featured in the Newsroom this year was centered on Samsung’s latest mobile devices. An article presenting a short video of the Galaxy Fold’s folding test drummed up considerable attention before the device’s launch. The Galaxy Note10’s in-depth series, which included an infographic and article outlining the new flagship’s most exciting features, along with a piece offering useful information regarding One UI 2 on the Galaxy S10, were also particularly popular.

Other eye-catching content demonstrated how Samsung constantly evolves its TV and appliance offerings to better suit consumers’ lifestyles. The articles featured above discuss how customizable innovations like The Wall 2019 and Samsung’s Project PRISM home appliances, as well as the Samsung Flip digital flipchart, are transforming the way we work, enjoy content, and enhance our décor.

Highlights in the semiconductor category include content describing what makes Samsung’s first-of-its-kind 64Mp ISOCELL image sensor a game-changer for mobile cameras, and a video showcasing how the company’s newest memory solutions are steering the future of autonomous driving. One of the most popular articles explored Samsung’s wide-ranging SSD selection, and walked readers through finding the perfect drive to suit their needs.

There was also a great deal of content that focused on Samsung innovations that are shaping the future of tech.
Every gamer knows the pain of reaching that critical point in a story or boss battle only to realize they have an important appointment to get to. Now you’ll never have to miss a beat with PlayGalaxy Link, a streaming service available from the Galaxy Store on the Galaxy Note10 that allows you to bring your PC games with you on the go.

The new service goes beyond cloud gaming, which has dominated the industry in 2019, by allowing you to stream your game library to your device if you already have a powerful PC. With PlayGalaxy Link, Samsung is achieving a new level of gaming, enabling you to create a customizable streaming experience by connecting the Galaxy Note10 to your own powerful PC and the games you already own.

Introducing PlayGalaxy Link

Whether you’re in transit to work, outside in the park, or chilling on the couch, you can use the PlayGalaxy Link app on the Galaxy Note10 to connect to your PC using Wi-Fi or mobile data (4G/5G) and pick up right where you left off in the game.

When accuracy matters most, lag and latency will be less of a problem as PlayGalaxy Link is designed with a P2P connection which provides you with simplicity for better performance without a relay server. The service also uses Adaptive FPS to ensure better connectivity even in poor network environments. However, it should be noted that speeds are dependent on your network connection and reliability will vary depending on local network providers and regional stability. You will also find major improvements to the longevity of their gaming sessions and device performance.

Without the need for local storage or graphics performance, you get high-fidelity gaming while only using about as much battery as streaming video. Since PlayGalaxy Link uses a PC to power your gaming session, the Galaxy Note10 avoids becoming hot and dropping frame rates as a result. PlayGalaxy Link is also compatible with all graphics card manufacturers, allowing you to get the best experience out of their gaming stations when linked to the app.

Best of all, PlayGalaxy Link is expanding the opportunities for gaming on the go by opening up a library of PC exclusive titles for your mobile device. Whether you’re into casual side-scrollers or hardcore RPGs, you can extend your gameplay with both a game controller1 or a traditional keyboard connection.

Setting Up PlayGalaxy Link

Getting started with PlayGalaxy Link is easy. All you have to do to get set up is install the PlayGalaxy Link app2 on both your PC and Galaxy Note10, add your games, and then start streaming. For a better experience, you can connect wired or Bluetooth-enabled controllers to your device.

Since the app uses your computer to stream games, the bulk of the processing is done on your home computer. As a result, the better the specs your computer has, the better your PlayGalaxy Link experience will be. Check out the infographic below to see the recommended computer specs and a guide to setting up the PlayGalaxy Link app.

The PlayGalaxy Link Beta has launched and is now available in South Korea, US, UK, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Singapore, and Russia. In addition to the Galaxy Note10, Galaxy S10 owners can now download the MR software update to access PlayGalaxy Link. The update will be coming to the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note9, and Galaxy A90 in early December 2019.

1 Game controller may only be purchased in the USA and Korea through the Samsung Mobile Accessory Partnership Program.

2 Stub download will be available via Galaxy Store. The Stub icon will be shown in the Game Launcher app.

Samsung Electronics today announced the start of its holiday collaboration with Lucasfilm in advance of the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in December, 2019. The collaboration will unite two Galaxies – a Galaxy from far, far away, and the Samsung Galaxy – to generate excitement for the final installment in the Skywalker saga.

“Samsung Galaxy products are designed for pursuing passions, and Star Wars fans are some of the most passionate fans there are,” said Stephanie Choi, Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing Team of Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics. “We are always looking for new ways to enhance the mobile experience, and with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming to theaters this December, we saw the perfect opportunity to bring together the best Galaxy devices with the sbest story in the galaxy.”

Samsung and Star Wars are aiming to create a joyous holiday season as part of its special holiday collaboration. To kick off the campaign, Samsung and Star Wars will release a campaign video centered on a dog with a striking resemblance to iconic Star Wars character, Chewbacca, as well as another character that Star Wars superfans will recognize toward the end of the video. The story of the campaign film is about a family using Galaxy devices to communicate seamlessly across their devices to make their Holiday dreams come true. With the connected ecosystem amongst Galaxy Note10, Note10+, Watch Active2 and Tab S6, the film tells that amazing things are possible. The film features a number of references to the Star Wars universe for superfans to enjoy. It will be a fun challenge to find how many hidden items are featured in the film.

While the campaign film features a number of exciting Star Wars fanfare, it is only one piece of a much larger collaboration between Samsung and Star Wars. Fans of both the Star Wars universe and the Samsung Galaxy can expect more excitement to come as the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker draws nearer.

Samsung Electronics has announced a fresh software update1 for the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+ and S10 5G that introduces more powerful Galaxy Note10 features to the flagship lineup. Now, in addition to enjoying the diverse range of Note10 features that were added in the S10’s most recent update, users will be able to access all-new smart multimedia and Wi-Fi functions2 that streamline connections and take content creation to the next level.

Let’s take a closer look at how some of the Note10’s innovative and convenient features work on the Galaxy S10.

Enjoy Enriching Multimedia Experiences and Seamless Connectivity

The latest Galaxy S10 software update brings a more streamlined and seamless user experience to the device. The Gallery allows you to find your favorite photos quickly by refining searches with keywords.

Gallery Improvement

Discovering new songs, movies or TV shows is also easier with the improved device search, which brings up content recommendations from multimedia streaming apps. With the addition of Media & Devices to Quick Panel, you can easily control your multimedia experience across devices with just the Galaxy S10.

Media and Devices

Auto Hotspot offers an easy solution for transforming your Galaxy S10 into a Wi-Fi hub. After an initial setup, the feature will let the Galaxy S10 establish a hotspot automatically with other Samsung devices if they share the same Samsung account or family account. By offering troubleshooting guides and alerts, Wi-Fi Tips ensures your mobile connection will be stable and secure.

Intelligent Wi-Fi Auto Hotspot

Capture Your Vision

Launched in September, the previous software update brought Note10’s powerful creativity tools to the Galaxy S10. You can now add a personal touch to videos with fun, vibrant drawings – no S Pen required – with the device’s infinitely expressive AR Doodle function. With the camera’s enhanced Super steady video stabilization, you’ll never have to worry about shaky clips, even when the action heats up. Plus, capture crystal clear selfies after dark with Night Mode on the front camera.

A Pocket-sized Multimedia Suite

Users are already able to edit their favorite clips right on their smartphone thanks to the Galaxy S10’s Video Editor feature, but with the updated Samsung DeX, transforming your clips into dynamic videos is easier than ever before. Simply connect the device to a PC or Mac with a USB cable and you’ll be able to trim, edit, and personalize your clips with precision on Samsung DeX.

In the center of Paris earlier this year, a unique sight caught the eye of visitors as they passed through the city’s famous Place de la Concorde – a Samsung Electronics billboard written entirely in the Korean company’s native alphabet, Hangeul.

October 9th is Hangeul Day in Korea, with this year marking the 573rd annual celebration of the Korean alphabet’s invention and importance. Invented by the 15th-century Korean monarch Sejong the Great, Hangeul is widely considered the most scientific alphabet existing today, and consists of blocks of syllables that are made up of 24 sounds and shapes – ‘letters’ – made by the mouth.

With its fixed range of letters and logical construction, doesn’t learning Hangeul sound like fun? Of course, learning a new language is no easy feat, but with the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+, you can easily start enjoying learning a new language.

1. Press-to-Learn

For moments when you’re curious about what a certain word is in the language you’re learning but don’t have a dictionary to hand, the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+’s S Pen is here to help. Among other great functionalities, the S Pen allows users to instantly translate words on their smartphone’s screen simply by hovering over them. This convenient feature not only applies to words written in Samsung Notes memos, but also text in things like image files, articles and press releases.

2. Make Notes Anytime, Anywhere

When you set out to learn a new language, practice makes perfect, and ensuring that you are constantly honing your writing ability is a surefire way to master a new script in no time.

Screen off memo is a handy feature of the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ that lets you use the S Pen to draw or write on your smartphone’s display even when its screen is off. If you find yourself without pen and paper, or without the time to unlock your phone to access its full capabilities, Screen off memo is the best way to stay active with your practice. This means that wherever or whenever you encounter a new word or phrase you’d like to keep for later, you can simply make a note of it on your device.

On the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+, Screen off memo features various color options to provide users with a more personalized note-taking experience when learning a new language. Note down a new word, get in some quick script practice or copy down a phrase at a moment’s notice – your latest practice memo begins from the moment you take your S Pen out of the device.

3. Scribble & Save

Samsung Notes is your one-stop ideas app, which lets you review and edit previous notes as well as add new ones. If you’ve jotted down a new phrase using Screen off memo, you can pull it up on Samsung Notes to refresh your memory and continue along your language-learning journey.

While Samsung Notes provides a great hub for keeping track of your progress, repetition is key when retaining a new language, and so to help you work on and memorize your latest linguistic memos from a Word document, the notes you take down with the evolved S Pen can be instantly converted from handwriting to text.

To create this instant conversion feature, Samsung developed a handwriting database from hundreds of thousands of handwritten sentences from which a handwriting recognition model was developed using deep learning technology. This feature works for scripts that aren’t your mother tongue, as well, as Samsung Notes can support 62 different languages.

4. Have Fun!

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ come with even more ways for you to express your creativity, not least of which is AR Doodle, a fun way to get in some language practice at the same time as creating content to make your friends laugh.

With AR Doodle, you can use your S Pen to add text or drawings to any video that will then intelligently animate based on the content, so why not show off your newfound linguistic prowess when customizing a video of a friend using your S Pen and honed linguistic skills? Language learning has never been so entertaining.

Fresh off the heels of the launch of the Galaxy Note10, Samsung is celebrating its continuing partnership Fortnite developer Epic Games with the announcement of an exclusive in-game Glow skin available for almost all Galaxy device owners1. The design of the Glow skin is derived from the Galaxy Note10’s signature Aura Glow color, created with free-thinking millennials in mind and inspired by the reflective light of a prism.

Available starting September 28th, 2019, the new Glow skin joins an expanding roster of Samsung’s exclusive Fortnite content. Last year the two companies celebrated the game’s Android launch with the Galaxy Skin available only on the Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy TabS4. The partnership then expanded earlier this year with the launch of the iKONIK skin and accompanying dance move, Love Scenario, which were developed with K-Pop star Jung Chanwoo of the band iKON for the Galaxy S10.

Offered on a wider range of devices, the new Glow skin will be based off last year’s Fate skin but will include a new color combination based on the Galaxy Note10’s Aura Glow color. The partnership reflects Samsung’s growing focus on delivering users cutting-edge gaming experiences and the global success of Fortnite.

Since launching in 2017, the game has become a cultural phenomenon, reaching more than 250 million registered players at the beginning of 2019 and generating over $2 billion worldwide across all platforms. The partnership provides Samsung with store exclusivity, with the Android version of the game only available through the Galaxy Store and the Epic Games website, a recognition of Samsung’s devices as the gold standard of mobile gaming. The Galaxy Note10 is the company’s latest and greatest offering, with a suite of features that make training to be the next Fortnite world champion a breeze.

The Galaxy Note10’s Game Booster, an AI-based predictive performance enhancer, analyzes your playing habits, as well as data from publishers including Epic Games, to optimize your gaming experience depending on your unique individual needs. For those into graphic intense RPGs, Game Booster will optimize your device for better graphics and frame rates, while casual gamers will get a boost in battery performance so you can game for your entire commute with plenty of juice left over. On top of these software innovations, the Galaxy Note10 also has significant hardware improvements.

Equipped with a powerful, smarter battery that optimizes power consumption based on individual usage patterns, you never have to worry about sacrificing game time for battery life. For those graphic-intense games that tend to heat up your phone, the Galaxy Note10 also comes with the world’s slimmest vapor chamber. At just 0.35t, the ultra-thin vapor chamber fits within the device’s thin, sleek design and regulates heat to stabilize your device and prevent frustrating lags caused by overheating.

With both LTE and 5G options, Galaxy Note10 users can take full advantage of their carrier’s fastest network speeds, ensuring you always get a smooth experience gaming on the go. Combined with a powerful CPU and GPU for rendering those stunning graphics, Samsung has signified that mobile gaming is central to their design.

1 Fortnite Glow skin will be available for owners of the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Note8, Galaxy Note9, Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Tab S4, Galaxy TabS6, Galaxy A9, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A80, and Galaxy A90

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ are packed with powerful tools designed to help users unleash their creativity and be more productive. Now, with an update set for release beginning in European markets from September 23,1 Samsung Electronics is introducing many of those same bar-raising innovations – including features like AR Doodle, a built-in video editor and Link to Windows integration – to the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+ and S10 5G.2

Once Galaxy S10 users download the update, they’ll notice that their smartphone’s pro-grade camera has become even more powerful. The update expands the camera’s Night Mode to include support for the front-facing camera as well – offering users more freedom to snap vivid shots after dark. It also introduces enhanced Super steady video stabilization, as well as support for dynamic Galaxy Note10 functions like AR Doodle and Live focus video recording. The former lets users enhance their videos with fun, augmented-reality drawings and messages, while the latter lets them apply bokeh effects (including blur, big circle, color point and glitch) to videos recorded with the front or rear camera.

Whenever Galaxy S10 users capture a memorable clip, the camera’s new, Gallery app-accessible video editor offers all the tools they’ll need to turn it into a share-worthy video. This versatile feature makes it easy to edit videos like a pro, and features simple tools for trimming clips, stitching them together, adjusting playback speed and more. You can even use the function to add subtitles and background music to clips to make your content more unique.

The update also incorporates support for Samsung DeX for PC. Once users download the app from SamsungDeX.com, they’ll be able to launch Samsung DeX on their PC or Mac simply by connecting their Galaxy S10 to their computer via USB cable. Link to Windows support has also been added, which means that Galaxy S10 users will be able to wirelessly connect their phone to their Windows 10 PC and easily view its contents, send and receive messages, and sync recent photos directly from their computer.

Apps that Galaxy S10 users rely on every day, including Samsung Pass and Messages, have also been made more versatile and convenient. Now, Samsung Pass’s setup has been simplified, making it easier for Galaxy S10 users to utilize their device’s advanced biometric technologies to log in to apps and websites quickly and securely. In the Messages app, new icons for adding photos and videos have been positioned to the left of the text window to offer users easy access to the files they need.

As Jiyoung Mun, an engineer at Samsung Electronics’ Mobile R&D Office, explained, the Galaxy S10’s update reflects Samsung’s commitment to offering more users access to exceptional innovations. “At Samsung Electronics, we’re constantly exploring ways to offer Galaxy device users the best possible smartphone experience, and this software update is an extension of that commitment,” said Mun.

1 Update release date may vary by country and carrier.

2 Each global market will receive the same features through the update with the exception of the U.S., where features may vary by carrier.

Samsung Electronics today announced that the Galaxy Note10 has been named by Wi-Fi Alliance as the first smartphone to be certified for a new standard in connected technology, Wi-Fi 6.

“As a pioneer in new mobile experiences Samsung is proud to be announced as one of the first companies to hold the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 accreditation,” said Inkang Song, Vice President and Head of Technology Strategy Group of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics. “The Galaxy Note10 is one of our flagship devices and the first smartphone classified Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6. Along with the Galaxy S10 we’re thrilled to bring Wi-Fi 6 to our loyal customers.”

Wi-Fi 6 Enabling New Mobile Experiences

Wi-Fi is a critical piece of infrastructure required to enable the proper function of a growing number of both consumer and commercial devices. From televisions and appliances to security and communication systems, the expectations for everything, and everyone, to be connected is growing. Wi-Fi Alliance has led the development of industry agreed standards for devices for many years. With the launch of Wi-Fi 6 this year, a new certification has been launched to ensure that the highest possible standards are continuously met.

Wi-Fi 6 technology is building on the performance of previous Wi-Fi generations and is the latest technology to be launched from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). Wi-Fi 6 will operate in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, offer greater capacity than previous generations and double the number of spatial streams. Devices certified by Wi-Fi Alliance, classed as “Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6”, will deliver new capabilities for people in a range of situations.

Wi-Fi 6 will allow family homes to better stream high-definition entertainment, simultaneously manage the connected home and efficiently support multiple devices.

Outside, Wi-Fi 6 will improve connectivity in high population areas and provide a more consistent service as people move around towns and cities.

In the enterprise, this new technology will enable greater automation and more advanced capabilities in healthcare monitoring and e-learning as well as continuing to handle large numbers of users and high volumes of data.

Samsung mobile devices with Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 will bring more reliable performance even in challenging environments1. This is achieved through a number of the key features of Wi-Fi 6 technology. For example:

Uplink and downlink Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) increases efficiency and lowers latency for high demand environments. This enables the Samsung Note10 to have stable connectivity in environments with many connected devices.

Target-Wakeup Time (TWT) improves power efficiency in Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 devices, including the Galaxy Note10. Because the TWT schedules transmission time between the Galaxy Note10 and the access point, it allows the Galaxy Note10 to manage its power efficiently until the predetermined wake-up time.

Multi-User Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) allowsmore data to be transferred at one time, enabling access points to handle larger numbers of devices simultaneously when the Galaxy Note10 is connected to Wi-Fi 6.

As a result of close collaboration with Wi-Fi Alliance, Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy S10 have offered Wi-Fi 6 connectivity from the launch. It gives users faster and seamless Wi-Fi connection in crowded areas, and powers high-quality video calls as well as high-definition streaming without slowing down.

1 https://www.wi-fi.org/discover-wi-fi/wi-fi-certified-6

The Samsung Weather experience on the Galaxy Note10 is getting an upgrade1 thanks to a partnership with The Weather Channel, a subsidiary of IBM. Now, for the first time, customers who purchase a Galaxy Note10 will have access to new features in Samsung Weather, including government-issued weather alerts2, radar maps3, and weather video clips4 from The Weather Channel’s editorial team.

Checking the weather is considered as a daily activity for people around the world, and one of the most common activities on mobile devices. Galaxy owners use Samsung Weather, powered by The Weather Channel, to help plan their day.

Samsung Weather also allows Galaxy Note10 users to connect directly to The Weather Channel’s website, weather.com, to view real-time radar maps, giving users access to high-resolution, past-to-future radar data and hyperlocal current weather. Additionally, users will receive government-issued weather alerts from the smartphone’s weather widget on the home screen.

“Samsung is committed to delivering meaningful innovation to our users. Our partnership with The Weather Channel is another example of our ongoing efforts to deliver seamless services that are widely accessible and simplify the lives of our Galaxy device owners,” Yongje Kim, Executive Vice President of Service Business Office, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics explains. “Together with The Weather Channel, we’re offering people more information and making weather checks on Galaxy Note10 easier, faster and more essential.”

The Weather Channel has powered Samsung Weather across smartphones since the launch of the Galaxy S8 and continues to be the default weather data provider on select Samsung smartphones.

The latest additions to Samsung’s Galaxy Note family, the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+, are packed with features and technologies to help you do more, experience more, and pursue your passions.

While users are already aware of the device’s popular showcase features—from the pro-grade camera with Live Focus video to the edge-to-edge, fully immersive Cinematic Infinity Display—the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ come with plenty more innovative capabilities than may first meet the eye.

Take a look at this round-up of hidden tips and tricks to help you make the most out of your Galaxy Note10 or Note10+, the Galaxy series’ most powerful smartphones yet.

1. Effortlessly View Photo Collections with Tag

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+’s pro-grade camera means that you’ll be taking lots of pictures. If you want to show off your photography skills—with, say, a few of your amazing sunset shots—it can be a bit tiresome to scroll through your Gallery to pick them all out. So, try out the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+’s upgraded Tag experience for viewing collections of similar pictures. A new icon, accessible directly from the toolbar when viewing a photo in the Gallery, takes you straight to the Tag feature. Tag also harnesses Samsung-developed optical character recognition technology, which intelligently recommends specific keywords for specific images.

2. Take Screenshots Three Different Ways

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ introduced a Screen Recorder to take videos of what’s on your screen—but what about screenshots? With the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+, you have three ways to take a picture of what’s on your screen. First, you can quickly and simultaneously press the power and volume down buttons. Second, you can swipe the side of your hand from left to right on the display. Third, you can use the S Pen. Take out the S Pen and tap on Smart Select. Then, choose from a square, rectangle, circle, free-drawing tool, or even a GIF tool, to select your screenshot. Or, tap the Square/Pin icon to take a screenshot and have that image automatically pinned to your display.

3. Make the Most out of the Always On Display

A great phone doesn’t just help you get things done; it helps you express your personality. We use the camera to tell our stories and we use the phone’s color to match our style choice—shouldn’t our lock screen also help us express ourselves? Galaxy Note10 and Note10+’s Always On Display not only provides you with time, notification and battery information at a glance, but can also be tailored to your preferred clockface style. Visit Settings > Lock screen > Clock style to check out the options, and select FaceWidgets for even more display customization options.

4. Scan Documents with Ease Using Your Phone Camera

Sometimes, we need to scan a document in high-quality, but there’s just no scanner to be found. With your Galaxy Note10 and Note10+, this common problem is a thing of the past. Enable the ‘Document scan’ option in the Camera settings > Scene optimizer menu once the Camera app is open to use your Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ to efficiently send documents.

5. Make the Edge Panel Your Own

Everyone has different contacts they get in touch with the most and different apps they use the most. So that you can easily access your favorites, faster, the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ come with a customizable edge panel. By dragging the tab on the right-hand side of your Galaxy Note10 and Note10+’s screen, you can access this shortcut tray of useful apps and services. By heading to Settings > Display > Edge screen > Edge panels, you can fully customize the contacts and apps that appear, and set app pairs—apps that you commonly use together, like email and calendar—to launch at the same time.

6. Stay Productive On the Go With One-Handed Mode

The Note series pioneered the large-screen smartphone, and now today, the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ are known for their immersive, edge-to-edge displays. In fact, at 6.8”, the Galaxy Note10+ offers the Note’s biggest screen ever. But sometimes, situations arise when you only have one hand available to use your phone, and it can be hard to reach something at the top of the screen. To make things more convenient, the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ offer One-handed mode. Just go to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures > One-handed mode. This feature moves all of your content and information to one area of the screen that you can easily reach with just your thumb, so you can tap and type easily when holding your phone in one hand.

7. Get Intelligent in Order to Save Power

There is nothing more annoying than needing to use your phone at the end of a busy day and seeing that your battery is running low. Even though the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ come with an all-day, intelligent battery, power users who push their phone to the max might need a little extra help making it back home before they hit 0%. To help keep you powered up, the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ feature Adaptive Power Saving Mode. Found in the Settings > Device care section, Adaptive Power Saving Mode uses machine learning to monitor and learn about how you use your device and automatically puts your device to Medium power-saving mode if it detects that you are using your phone more than usual.

The Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ are packed with powerful innovations designed to help users take their mobile experience to the next level.

To help them get the most out of these convenient features, Samsung Newsroom has compiled a list of ten functions and settings users should consider when setting up their new device. Whether you’re new to the Note series or you’re a long-term fan who’s just upgraded to the latest edition, the features outlined below will help you customize your phone in ways that work for you.

1. Customize Air Actions

As you may have read in our recent in-depth article, the Galaxy Note10’s new S Pen Air actions transform the Note series’ signature tool into a magic wand for controlling your device. The gesture-based controls are completely customizable, which means you can specify exactly which functions you’d like them to trigger within specific apps – such as the Camera, Gallery and Samsung Notes.

For example, using the S Pen to trace a clockwise circle in the Camera app will, by default, trigger the camera to zoom into the frame. However, you can also customize this gesture to change camera modes, switch cameras, zoom out and more, if any of those functions would be more comfortable for you.

You can also specify which frequently used app or feature you’d like to launch when you press and hold the S Pen’s button. This saves users time by making it easier for them to access the functions they need.

2. Adjust Your Side Key Settings

The Galaxy Note10’s sleek and slim design includes an all-new multifunctional key located beneath the volume rocker on the devices’ left-hand side. A double press allows you to instantly open the camera, Bixby or a frequently used app of your choosing, while a press and hold will wake Bixby or pull up the power off menu.

Speaking of, the Galaxy Note10 also introduces more ways for users to power down their device. Now, in addition to pulling up the power off menu with a press and hold of the side key, users can easily turn off their phone by (1) tapping on the power icon integrated into the Quick Panel, (2) pressing and holding the side and volume down keys, or (3) asking Bixby to do it directly.

The side key’s settings can be accessed by swiping down on the Quick Panel, tapping the power icon and selecting ‘Side key settings,’ or by pressing and holding the side key itself.

3. Pick Your Favorite Pens

The Galaxy Note10’s enhanced Samsung Notes app makes it easier for users to get down to work by allowing them to save their favorite pens in an instantly accessible tab.

Once users open Samsung Notes and tap on the scribble icon at the top, they’ll see an icon of a pen marked with a golden star in the bottom left corner of the screen. Tapping that icon will pull up a handy tab containing slots to save up to nine unique pens. With six types of pens, an array of thickness options, and dozens of colors available, it’s easy to find and save the right pen for the job.

Once they’re saved, all it takes to pull up the pen you need when composing a note is a press of the S Pen’s button. Each subsequent press will switch to another favorite pen in your collection.

4. Step Up Your Screen Recordings

The Galaxy Note10’s new Screen recorder not only makes it easy to record what’s on your screen, but also features a picture-in-picture function that allows users, such as vloggers and gamers, to use the front camera to add reactions and commentary to their videos.

To start a recording, simply pull down the Quick Panel and tap on the Screen recorder icon. Once the recording starts, you’ll see icons in the top right corner to enable real-time S Pen annotation, and activate the front camera for the picture-in-picture function.

If you’d like to capture your voice while recording a picture-in-picture video, pull up the feature’s settings by pressing and holding ‘Screen recorder’ in the Quick Panel. There, you’ll find options to (1) record no sound, (2) record media sounds, and (3) record ‘media sounds and mic.’ The settings also allow you to specify precisely how large you would like your picture-in-picture video to be, and select a preferred video quality.

5. Link to Windows

To help users work more comfortably and efficiently, the Galaxy Note10 features Link to Windows integrated directly into its Quick Panel. Now, rather than bouncing from one screen to the other, users can easily connect their Galaxy Note10 to their Windows 10-based PC and mirror their phone’s screen, send and receive messages,1 and view notifications – as well as up to 25 recent photos – directly from their computer.

Link to Windows can be launched via the Quick Panel or by accessing Settings > Advanced features. Once the user logs in to their Microsoft account, the Galaxy Note10 automatically links to their PC. It’s as simple as that.

6. Connect to Samsung DeX for PC

The Galaxy Note10 takes multitasking to the next level by making Samsung DeX2 even easier to use. Now, all it takes to expand your mobile experience to your Windows PC or Mac is a simple USB cable.

Getting started is easy: simply access Samsung DeX’s official website on your PC or Mac to download and launch the Samsung DeX for PC installer, and connect your smartphone to your computer. Once everything’s set up, the program will automatically launch Samsung DeX via a window on your computer’s screen.

From there, you’ll be able to easily drag and drop files between your smartphone and PC, and enjoy more space to manage your go-to apps. In addition, even when it’s connected to your PC, your smartphone can still be used to make phone calls, send messages, and surf the internet.

7. Display Battery Percentage

These days, we’re constantly working, connecting and creating on our mobile devices, which is why we like to keep a close eye on our smartphone’s battery level.

The Galaxy Note10’s default setting is to display battery level via a simple icon on the right side of the status bar. However, users who would like to know exactly how much power they have left can access Settings > Notifications > Status bar, where they’ll find options to display the exact battery percentage, and specify how many notification icons they’d like to see at the top of their screen.

The Galaxy Note10 also features AI software that optimizes battery usage based on how you use your device. To manage your device’s battery optimization, head to Settings > Device care > Battery > Power mode. There you’ll find various power modes for increasing performance and extending battery life, as well as an ‘Adaptive power saving’ function, which enables your Galaxy Note10’s AI to automatically adjust the power mode based on your usage patterns to save power when it’s not needed.

8. Enable Bixby Routines

What if your smartphone were intelligent enough to optimize settings based on your daily routine – switching to Wi-Fi as soon as you got home, and automatically dimming the screen and activating its blue light filter to protect your eyes before you went to bed?

Bixby Routines on the Galaxy Note10 makes all that and more possible. The function utilizes machine learning to learn how you use your phone throughout the day, and recommends personalized routines that can streamline tasks to help you save more time.

The Galaxy Note10 features 14 preset Bixby Routines right out of the box, including ‘Good morning,’ ‘Work,’ ‘Home,’ ‘Before bed’ and ‘Driving.’ Best of all, creating your own Bixby Routines couldn’t be easier. Simply tap on the plus sign at the top of the menu to create a routine that works for you.

9. Rearranging Camera Modes

Because speed can be key when it comes to capturing incredible photos, the Galaxy Note10 allows you to rearrange the order of its camera modes so your most frequently used options come up first. The camera launches on Photo mode by default, and lets you designate the order of the camera modes to the left and right of Photo mode to make it easy to navigate to the mode you need.

If, for example, you like to take pictures of your food, place Food mode immediately before or after Photo. If you tend to use other modes more often than the basic Photo mode, tap on ‘Keep using last mode’ under the ‘Camera modes’ settings to enable the camera to launch on the last mode you used.

10. Quickly Access Brightness Settings

Sometimes – when watching a movie at a theater, for example – we’d like to be able to adjust our smartphone’s brightness quickly and easily. If you find yourself in these situations quite often, consider enabling the Galaxy Note10’s brightness control to be displayed above the notification panel.

To do so, simply swipe down on the Quick Panel, tap on the arrow to the right of the brightness control, and tap on ‘Show control on top.’ The display’s brightness settings also include an ‘Adaptive brightness’ function that allows the Galaxy Note10 to keep track of your brightness adjustments and apply them automatically when you use your device under similar lighting conditions.

1 Limited to 1,000 most recent messages.

2 A list of compatible PC models, and more details on how to use Samsung DeX, can be found at www.samsungdex.com

Samsung’s latest addition to its flagship Galaxy Note line, the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+, features a best-in-class Dynamic AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification – offering users vivid color accuracy and optimum eye comfort. But for gaming enthusiasts, the Galaxy Note10 also comes equipped with the AI-based Game Booster, which supports optimized extended gameplay and play pattern analysis. The evolved S Pen, too, provides users with even more dynamic ways to game thanks to the brand-new Air actions.

The Galaxy Note10’s predecessor had provided hardcore gamers with all the tools they needed for the best mobile gaming experiences, but with the Galaxy Note10, users will be able to discover a device optimized for both heavy and casual gamers. In order to bring fun new gaming experiences to users, Samsung has been working hard to create exclusive experiences with leading mobile games, including joining forces with the incredibly popular Candy Crush Friends Saga.

Bringing Hungry Yeti to Life with the Galaxy Note10 and S Pen

Candy Crush Friends Saga is bringing one of its iconic characters, Hungry Yeti, to life in-game with a new augmented reality feature for Android users. Thanks to Samsung’s new partnership with Candy Crush Friends Saga, users of the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ will be able to access exclusive bonus in-game AR interactions with their S Pen while playing.

Players need simply point their device at a flat surface to see Yeti come to life on-screen and in-room. By feeding this beloved character of the Candy Crush franchise daily, players can earn gifts which they can then use in-game when matching and switching candies. Users with a Galaxy Note10 or Note10+ are able to unlock even more fun in-game features with the S Pen’s Air actions; shaking the S Pen will activate the Yeti dance.

K-Pop superstars and Candy Crush superfans Lisa and Jisoo of BLACKPINK were invited to the King HQ in Stockholm to be the first to try out the new feature on the Galaxy Note10. “We are big fans of Candy Crush,” enthused Lisa while visiting the King’s office. “While we are on tour, we spend a lot of time in transit and in hotel rooms, which is when we tend to play a lot.”

“Candy Crush Friends Saga has the cutest characters, and we’ve always loved Yeti,” continued Jisoo. “It was a lot of fun to see Yeti come to life and to dance with him. We really loved the moment when Yeti gave us a gift!”

The results of DisplayMate’s comprehensive tests are in, and the world’s leading evaluator of video screens has concluded that the Galaxy Note10+ establishes a bold new standard for mobile displays – one that’s deserving of the firm’s highest-ever Excellent A+ grade.

As DisplayMate’s President, Dr. Raymond M. Soneira, explained, “The level of display performance and excellence has been increasing each year, and the Galaxy Note10+ has again raised the bar significantly higher.”

According to Soneira, the Galaxy Note10+ possesses “the most innovative and high-performance smartphone display that [DisplayMate has] ever lab tested.” During the evaluation, Samsung’s latest flagship outperformed its predecessor in several key categories, including brightness, reflectance ratio, color accuracy and blue light reduction.

Both the 6.3-inch, Full HD+ (2280×1080) Galaxy Note10 and the 6.8-inch, Quad HD+ (3040×1440) Galaxy Note10+ boast Samsung’s all-new Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. The smartphones’ immersive screens include a single small, centered camera cutout at the top that allows them to offer users an exceptionally high screen-to-window ratio.

The Galaxy Note10+’s peak brightness score of 1,308 nits is an improvement of 25 percent over the Galaxy Note9 (1,050 nits), while its screen reflectance ratio is the lowest that DisplayMate has ever measured on a smartphone (4.3 percent). The smartphones’ combination of high screen brightness and low screen reflectance allows them to offer better screen readability, picture quality and color accuracy in bright environments, such as when users are outdoors.

The Galaxy Note10+’s 0.4 Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) is an improvement on the Galaxy Note9’s 0.5 JNCD score, and a testament to the device’s color accuracy. Put simply, the closer a display’s JNCD score is to zero, the more accurate its colors are. The Galaxy Note10+’s 0.4 JNCD score indicates that colors depicted on its display are virtually indistinguishable from perfect.

HDR10+ support enables the Galaxy Note10+ to depict high-resolution content, such as 4K UHD videos, as realistically as possible, while Dynamic Tone Mapping technology optimizes colors from scene to scene, ensuring that content is presented exactly as creators intended. During its tests, DisplayMate also found that the Galaxy Note10+ reduced up to 37.5 percent more blue light than the Galaxy Note9 – without compromising color accuracy.

Based on its outstanding performance throughout rigorous testing, it’s easy to see why DisplayMate described the Galaxy Note10+’s screen as “an excellent, top-tier, world-class smartphone display” and described Samsung as a company that “continues to systematically improve OLED displays.”

The Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ will officially launch starting from August 23.
Samsung Electronics today announced that the new Galaxy Note10+ 5G has received the number one ranking on the DxOMark both front facing and rear facing cameras, as well as the top score for video. The DxOMark scale provides a ranking system to evaluate the image and video quality of smartphone cameras. The Galaxy Note10+ 5G was unveiled during last week’s Unpacked event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, alongside the Galaxy Note10+ which delivers the same image and video quality experience.

The Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ put state-of-the-art tools to capture stunning video and photos at users’ fingertips and have been built with content creators and everyday users in mind. Through a combination of advanced imaging technology and software, the Galaxy Note10 takes videography and photography to the next level, allowing the user’s social media channels, stories and posts to make an even bigger impact.

The Galaxy Note10+ 5G scored first place distinction on the DxOMark Selfie scale for its front facing camera with a score of 99, and it also received first place, earning an overall mobile score of 113, for its rear cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+are equipped to capture pro-grade video without requiring extra gear. Featuring Live focus video and Zoom-In Mic to enhance and amplify video content, Note10 brings priority subjects – both images and audio – to the forefront. New Super steady stabilizes the footages – even during Hyperlapse mode.

Galaxy Note10 users can also edit-on-the-go, without having to connect to their PC. The native video editor enables easy editing functionality right on the phone. With the S Pen, users can choose the precise moment they want to trim. Additional features, including Screen recorder, AR Doodle, 3D Scanner and Night Mode on the front facing camera, round out an upgraded Galaxy Note10 camera experience that has resulted in this high accolade from DxOMark.

DxOMark – a trusted industry authority for camera, lens and smartphone image quality measurements and ratings – conducts its DxOMark Selfie and DxOMark Mobile tests following a rigorous scientific protocol using industry-grade lab tools. The score sums up their engineers’ assessment of a devices’ photo and video quality to provide consumers with neutral and reliable test data about smartphone camera performance. DxOMark assigns sub-scores for photo and video quality and then combines them into an overall score.

Striking a perfect balance of power and pocketability, the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ pack an array of bar-raising performance technologies and productivity tools into a slim, nearly bezel-less design that’s as stunning as the devices are powerful.

Yun-je Kang, Senior Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ Design Team, summed up the philosophy behind the flagships’ design. “These days, our smartphones are always in our hands, and they’re becoming items that express our individuality and preferences,” said Kang. “From the beginning, we worked hard to achieve a design that reflected a deep understanding of how consumers use their smartphones today.”

Let’s examine how Samsung optimized the Galaxy Note10’s form factor to offer Millennial and Gen Z users a more immersive and productive smartphone experience.

Sleek and Slim, with an All-New S Pen

The Galaxy Note10 features a streamlined form that’s comfortable to grasp and looks as if it were chiseled from a single piece of glass. Simple but solid, the smartphones’ monolith-like frame supports a nearly bezel-less display, which offers multitasking Note users more room to do what they do best.

The smartphones’ brilliant Cinematic Infinity Display gracefully flows over the edges, blurring the line between body and display. Centered at the top is the in-display cutout for the front-facing camera. In addition to lending the screen a balanced aesthetic, the lens’s placement opens the door for users to enjoy a wide range of fun and inventive wallpaper designs that utilize the camera in creative ways.

In addition, the Note series’ signature feature, the S Pen, has been updated with a redesign and a slew of convenient enhancements, including support for multiple hues in Samsung Notes. Now, when using Samsung’s powerful notetaking app, users can easily save a preferred pen color and style as their favorite pen, load it with the touch of the S Pen’s button, and start writing and drawing to their heart’s content. Moreover, the S Pen’s seamless integration into the Galaxy Note10’s body enhances the devices’ unibody aesthetic.

The S Pen itself is comfortable in the hand, and an absolute pleasure to use. Samsung eliminated as many unnecessary elements as possible when refining the S Pen’s design, resulting in a sleek and sophisticated form. The S Pen’s Samsung logo and metallic section – fixtures of previous S Pens’ designs – have also been removed to enhance the tool’s elegant aesthetic.

To make users’ experience even more satisfying, Samsung also equipped the new S Pen with the ability to recreate the actual sounds that pens and other utensils make when writing or drawing. So scribbling a note on the Galaxy Note10’s display sounds just like scribbling on paper. And each time the user places the S Pen back in their device, they’ll hear a slight click, like the sound that a cap makes when it’s placed on a pen.

More Choices and Colors

The introduction of the 6.3-inch Galaxy Note10 and the 6.8-inch Galaxy Note10+ marks the first time that a Galaxy Note will be available in two sizes. Offering the newest Note in a compact form factor – alongside a model similar in size to previous editions – enables smartphone users who prefer a smaller screen to experience the signature Note features that make these devices so special.

The Galaxy Note10’s gorgeous design is complemented by a selection of three likewise stunning color options: Aura Glow, Aura White, and Aura Black. The latter two hues are exquisite in their luster, as is the iridescent Aura Glow, which reflects a rainbow of colors depending on the angle of the light, in what amounts to an eye-catching visualization of the smartphones’ ability to streamline a wide range of user interests. Additional color options – available in select markets – include the equally beautiful Aura Red, Aura Pink and Aura Blue.*

To offer users more ways to make their smartphone their own, the Galaxy Note10 also features a wide-ranging accessory selection that includes stylish covers of various colors and materials. Choose the Clear View cover for a practical look, or the Leather Cover for a more classic aesthetic.

Packaging That Puts the Planet First

When developing new Galaxy devices, Samsung prioritizes enhancements that make its powerful innovations simpler and more sustainable. Sustainability has never been more important to consumers – particularly Millennials. In fact, according to a recent Nielsen report, up to 73 percent of Millennials say they’d be willing to pay extra for sustainable goods.

Like the Galaxy S10 before it, the Galaxy Note10 features simple, eco-friendly packaging that utilizes sustainable materials in place of plastics and vinyl, and was designed with a focus on consuming fewer resources. Now, each smartphone and its components are fitted into a sturdy pulp mold rather than being packaged separately.

Other environmentally friendly adjustments include Samsung’s decisions to use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified paper when producing the Galaxy Note10’s packaging and manuals, replace plastic ties with paper alternatives, and utilize 20 percent recycled plastic when crafting the devices’ chargers.

In addition to utilizing more environmentally friendly materials in its products and packaging, Samsung continues to explore innovative ways to reduce electronics waste through initiatives like the Galaxy Upcycling program. By championing the benefits of upcycling, which involves finding new and useful applications for old technology, the company’s efforts are not only helping to save more devices from ending up in landfills; they’re also spurring the development of dynamic technologies with potential applications in the worlds of healthcare, education and more.

As Kang explained, sustainability remains a guiding focus when designing new Galaxy innovations. “Sustainability is an important value in Galaxy device design,” said Kang. “Going forward, Samsung will continue to pursue sustainable innovation – not only by simplifying products’ designs, but also by removing unnecessary elements, and by replacing materials with more eco-friendly alternatives.”

* Availability may vary by market and model.

“From the very beginning, the Galaxy Note has stood for the best-of-the-best technologies and features. The Galaxy Note10 re-imagines this promise for the modern Note fan who uses their smartphone to take their productivity and creativity to the next level, and who effortlessly flows between ideas and endeavors at a moment’s notice,” said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. “Every element of the Galaxy Note10 was designed to help users achieve more. Whether they’re finishing a big project for work, capturing and editing a video, or playing their favorite mobile game, the Galaxy Note10 will help them do it faster and better.”

Purposeful Design For a Premium Experience

Galaxy Note users appreciate the power of sophisticated design—not just the look and feel of their device, but the experience it offers. Every element of the Galaxy Note10 is crafted to be sleek, slim and distraction-free, so users can devote their full attention to the ideas, projects, and content that matters most.

Two Sizes: For the first time ever, the Galaxy Note10 comes in two sizes, so consumers can find the Note that’s best for them. The Galaxy Note10 opens up the Note to users who want the power of the S Pen and ultimate productivity in a compact form factor, packing a 6.3-inch Cinematic Infinity Display into the most compact Note yet. The Galaxy Note10+ features the biggest Note display ever with a 6.8-inch Cinematic Infinity Display on a device that’s still easy to hold and easy to use.

The Galaxy Note10’s display is Samsung’s best yet. From its physical construction to its underlying technology, the display is designed to immerse users in their favorite TV, movies and games.

Edge-to-edge Design: The Galaxy Note10’s edge-to-edge Cinematic Infinity Display is nearly bezel-less, while the in-display cut out for the front camera is small and centered for a balanced design. Samsung’s most immersive display creates a seamless experience between thought and action, viewing and creating.

Best Quality Display: The Galaxy Note10 features the award-winning Dynamic AMOLED display. With HDR10+ certification and Dynamic Tone Mapping, photos and videos are brighter than previous Note devices, and feature a stunning, wide color range. UL verified1 the Galaxy Note10 display for its 98% color and brightness uniformity. The Eye Comfort display reduces blue light without affecting color quality for comfortable viewing.2

Multi-Faceted Productivity to Maximize Every Moment

Note users put a premium on productivity, and they see their phone as essential to helping them do and achieve more. For these users, the Galaxy Note10 features new technologies, enhanced capabilities and powerful integrations all in service of giving users the freedom to work in the way that makes them the most productive.

Handwriting to Text: The Galaxy Note10 brings a powerful new capability to the re-designed, uni-body S Pen. Now, users can jot down notes, instantly convert their handwriting to digital text in Samsung Notes, and export it to a variety of different formats, including Microsoft Word. Users can now customize notes by shrinking, enlarging, or changing the color of the text. In just a few taps, meeting minutes can be formatted and shared; bursts of inspiration can quickly become editable documents.

Evolution of the S Pen: The Galaxy Note10 builds on the Bluetooth Low Energy-enabled S Pen capabilities introduced on the Galaxy Note9 by adding Air actions, allowing you to control certain aspects of the device using gestures with the S Pen. By opening up the Air actions SDK, developers can create customized controls that give users the ability to play games or use their favorite applications using gestures.

Samsung DeX for PC3 :The Galaxy Note10 extends Samsung DeX’s capabilities, making it easier for users to work between their phone and a PC or Mac. With a simple, compatible USB connection, users can drag and drop files between devices, and use their favorite mobile apps with a mouse and a keyboard, while keeping their data secure on their phone through Samsung Knox.

Link to Windows: The Galaxy Note10 integrates Link to Windows directly into the Quick Panel. With one click, users can connect to their Windows 10 PC. There, they can see notifications, send and receive messages, and review recent photos without pausing to look down at their phone.

Pro-Grade Camera for Creators

With the Galaxy Note10, content creators and everyday users alike can use state-of-the-art tools to capture stunning video and photos—allowing their channels, stories and posts to stand out and make an impact. Featuring a combination of advanced imaging technology and software, the Galaxy Note10 elevates mobile videography and photography to the next level.

Premium Video Technology: The Galaxy Note10 enables users to capture pro-grade video without having to carry around any extra gear. Live focus video adds depth-of-field adjustments so you can blur the background to focus on your subject. Zoom-In Mic amplifies the audio in frame and pushes background noise aside to help focus on the sounds that you want. And to remove the bumps and shakes that usually make an action shot blurry, new and improved Super steady stabilizes footage, and is now available in Hyperlapse mode for steady time-lapse videos.

Quick and Easy Video Editing: Once they’ve recorded their video, Galaxy Note10 users can edit-on-the-go instantly right from their phone. Video editor can be used with the S Pen, so instead of having to tap to select or edit a clip, users can choose the precise moment they want to trim. For creators who need even more control over their footage, Adobe Rush4 on the Galaxy Note10 provides a sophisticated suite of editing tools, now even more accurate with the S Pen.

Screen Recorder: For gamers who want to add some personality to their streams, or vloggers who want to enhance their tutorials, the Galaxy Note10 introduces Screen recorder. Easily capture what’s on the screen, use picture-in-picture to add reactions, and use the S Pen to annotate as they record for a more entertaining, engaging video.

AR Doodle and 3D Scanner: The Galaxy Note10 integrates bleeding-edge AR and 3D capabilities into the camera. Along with an Ultra Wide camera, it opens up an entirely new medium for creators. With AR Doodle, use the S Pen to personalize photos with dynamic drawings, effects, and animations that track to the image. And with 3D Scanner5, a groundbreaking first for the Note, the Galaxy Note10+’s DepthVision camera can take a scan of an object6, and instantly turn it into a movable 3D rendering.

Night Mode: People take plenty of selfies in low light situations—at dinner, at concerts or just enjoying a sunset. Night Mode, now available on the front camera, lets users capture striking selfies no matter how dim or dark the conditions.

Unparalleled Performance for Power Users

Note fans use their phones to do just about everything—not just tackling everyday tasks, but taking on big projects: running their business, editing video for their social media channels, creating beautiful illustrations with the S Pen. To help them do it all, the Galaxy Note10 is engineered with top-tier hardware and next-level features.

Super Fast Charging: With just 30 minutes of charge, the Galaxy Note10+ lasts through the day7 with up to 45W wired charging capability8.

Wireless PowerShare9: Wireless PowerShare comes to the Note. Users can wirelessly recharge their Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, or another Qi-enabled device with the Galaxy Note10.

Gaming: As mobile games get more processing-heavy and graphics-rich, the best gaming experiences require top specs. The Galaxy Note10 features the world’s slimmest vapor chamber cooling system, which delivers optimal performance during gameplay while keeping the device slim and sleek. With the AI-based Game Booster, the Galaxy Note10 optimizes performance and power consumption depending on the game. And with the PlayGalaxy Link P2P streaming service, users can pick up where users left off on any PC game and enable them to continue playing on the move with no need for local storage.

Hyper-fast Speeds: With LTE and 5G-ready options, Note10 users can take full advantage of their carriers’ fastest speeds. The Galaxy Note10+ 5G harnesses the full power of the next generation network for streaming high resolution video, downloading content hyper fast, and streaming graphics-heavy games in real time. By allowing us to do everything we love, hyper fast, the Note10+ 5G is changing the way we consume content and connect with friends and family.

A Portal to the Galaxy Ecosystem

The Galaxy Note10 sits at the heart of the Galaxy ecosystem, a suite of premium products and services that offer experiences to help make users’ lives more streamlined and connected. Wearables like the Galaxy Watch Active2 and tablets like the Galaxy Tab S6 keep users connected and help them accomplish more on-the-go.

Samsung Health helps users achieve their health and wellness goals with seamless tracking and monitoring. Samsung Knox safeguards data with defense-grade security solutions.
Samsung Electronics left no stone unturned when examining ways to make the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ the most powerful Notes yet. From their sleek and slim designs to their pro-grade video tools, upgraded Super Fast Charging, AI features and ultra-versatile S Pen, each and every element of Samsung’s latest flagships has been optimized to offer users a smartphone experience that’s second to none.

Let’s explore some of the smartphones’ most exciting enhancements in more detail.

1. Design

For the first time ever, Samsung is introducing not one but two new Galaxy Note models. The 6.3-inch Galaxy Note10 is 0.1 inches smaller than the Galaxy Note9, and perfect for those who want all the power and performance that comes with the newest Note, but in a more compact form. The 6.8-inch Galaxy Note10+, meanwhile, is a full 0.4 inches bigger than last year’s Note, and boasts the largest display that the series has ever seen.

Both models feature elegant forms that build on the Note series’ premium design heritage. But what makes the Galaxy Note10’s design so striking boils down to more than simply looks. It’s also exceptionally light and thin, weighing in at 196 grams1 and measuring just 7.9mm thick.

During the development process, Samsung trimmed down key components to ensure that the smartphones would cut an especially slim profile. Included among these are the S Pen itself, which now features a sleek and durable unibody design that’s lighter and more rounded than previous editions, as well as a vapor chamber cooling system that’s the slimmest in the world. Measuring just 0.35mm thick, this innovative technology optimizes performance by boosting GPU efficiency – helping ensure that the Galaxy Note10 stays cool during heavy use.

To complete the smartphones’ sleek design, Samsung simplified the button layout. Now, the devices’ right-hand sides are completely button-free, and the Bixby and power keys have been integrated into a single, customizable button located on the left. Instead of a 3.5mm headphone jack, the smartphones include support for both USB-C and wireless audio, and feature a pair of USB-C earphones in-box.

The smartphones’ screens are as stunning as ever, and they’re even more spacious thanks to the all-new, nearly bezel-less Cinematic Infinity Display. At the top of the display is a single small, centered camera cutout that takes up as little room as possible to offer users more screen. The camera’s placement not only brings balance to the display, it also ensures more natural and symmetrical selfies and video calls. The Premium Hole Display has additionally been verified by the experts at UL to bring color and brightness uniformity.

Whether you’re gaming or editing photos, watching videos or shooting your own, you can trust the Galaxy Note10’s Dynamic AMOLED display to enrich your experience with peerless picture quality – providing superior brightness, contrast and color, even in the brightest of environments. The display is also incredibly durable, thanks to Samsung’s use of ultra-strong Gorilla® Glass 6 on both the front and back of the devices.

2. Performance

Samsung complemented the Galaxy Note10’s slim design with seriously powerful specs.

Suffice it to say, these smartphones are no slouches when it comes to speed. The Galaxy Note10+ makes long charge times a thing of the past by adding upgraded Super Fast Charging (up to 45W)2 to a list of charging innovations that also includes Wireless PowerShare and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0.

This time-saving technology enables the device’s 4,300mAh3 battery – the largest that the Note series has ever seen – to store a full day’s worth of charge in just 30 minutes. So users can game, stream, browse, and even shoot and edit video with confidence, and without worrying about whether their battery will last through the day.4

Samsung also optimized its latest flagships with AI technology that regulates performance based on how you use your phone. One of the most innovative examples of this optimization is the NPU (Neural Processing Unit)-powered Game Booster. When users are enjoying a heavy gaming session, it’s working behind the scenes, collecting and analyzing system, user and game data and optimizing performance and power consumption accordingly.

The devices also feature a next-generation seven-nanometer AP chipset that boosts CPU and GPU performance by up to 33 and 42 percent, respectively (compared to the Galaxy Note9), and helps ensure that games and videos are snappy and smooth. And speaking of snappy performance, the smartphones also include Samsung’s new, AI-based app-launching technology, Boot up Booster, which identifies users’ most frequently used apps and saves them in RAM so they launch without delay. The function analyzes usage patterns for the last week, and automatically updates its database of frequently used apps every day.

Now let’s talk storage. The Galaxy Note10 features 256GB of built-in storage, while the Galaxy Note10+ is available in a choice of 256GB and 512GB models, with support for up to 1TB of additional storage via microSD card. With both 4G 2.0Gbps LTE and 5G options, both devices allow users to make use of the fastest network speeds available.5 By offering laptop-like storage, along with support for Wi-Fi 6 and next-generation networks, the Galaxy Note10 fosters truly next-level multitasking experiences.

3. The S Pen

The Galaxy Note10 takes the Note series’ signature feature to new and exciting heights, offering more advanced device controls, up to ten hours of use on a single charge, and a slew of other enhancements that nurture users’ creativity and simplify daily life.

Last year’s addition of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity transformed the S Pen into a magic wand of sorts – one that could be used to manage key device functions from afar. The new S Pen takes that convenience a step further with the introduction of customizable, BLE-based gesture controls known as S Pen Air actions. Powered by the S Pen’s six-axis sensor, this particularly handy feature makes it possible to, with a flick of the wrist, switch camera modes, zoom in and out, manage music and video controls, and more.

The way it works is simple: with the S Pen pointed toward their phone and its button pressed, the user can, for instance, draw a circle in the air to instantly zoom in or out of a shot, or make an upward motion to switch from the selfie to the main camera, or vice versa. Best of all, because the S Pen’s gesture controls are fully customizable, users can customize their Air actions in whichever ways work for them.

The Galaxy Note10 makes notetaking on a mobile device more convenient and intuitive than ever. Now, with a click of the S Pen’s button, users can seamlessly digitize their handwritten notes and convert them into various formats, including Microsoft Word, for easy editing and sharing. The handwriting-to-text conversion is as simple as it is accurate, thanks to a deep-learning database and advanced document layout analysis technology.

Users can also customize their notes to highlight ideas or emphasize key points using functions like pinch zoom, which lets you shrink and enlarge handwritten notes, and Quick highlighter, which offers a simple means to highlight handwritten and typed text. Screen off memo has also been updated, and now offers users a variety of color options.

4. The Camera

These days, smartphone users are shooting and sharing more videos than ever before. To help people capture and create more incredible content, the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+’s shared front camera and rear-facing Triple and Quad camera setups place intuitive, pro-grade video tools into users’ hands.

Standout features include Zoom-In Mic and Screen recorder. The former is an all-new, AI-powered feature that takes zooming in to a whole new level by amplifying the sound of audio sources in the camera’s frame. With Zoom-In Mic, when users zoom in on the subject of their video, they’ll also be able to zoom in on their subject’s voice (amplifying its sound), and minimize background noise.

Screen recorder, meanwhile, offers a simple tool for capturing what’s on your screen, and allows you to use the S Pen to add live notes to your video. It’s perfect for creators, including streamers and vloggers, as it also offers a front camera-powered picture-in-picture function that creators can use to add reactions to streams or enhance their tutorials.

Like the Screen recorder, the Galaxy Note10’s new AR Doodle feature was designed for creating one-of-a-kind content. In a nutshell, the function allows you to use the S Pen to create AR (augmented reality) drawings, effects and animations that can track users’ faces, and offer a fun way to interact with your surroundings. AR Doodles can be stationary, or layered onto moving subjects – in which case the Galaxy Note10 will track the subject and ensure that the doodle remains in place. The feature’s Face mode effectively lets you create your own selfie filters, while Everywhere mode lets you add fun illustrations – like a trail of delightful AR bubbles – to the world around you.

The Galaxy Note10+’s DepthVision Camera adds a cool new dimension to capturing content with its built-in 3D Scanner. This clever innovation enables the camera to capture its subject as a 3D rendering that can be seamlessly added to photos and videos.6 This opens up a world of possibilities in terms of creating shareable content, offering users endless fun by letting them inject themselves and their friends into more shots and clips. For example, before traveling, an action-figure collector could use the function to create 3D scans of their figures that they could insert into videos during their trip to make their experience that much more memorable.

The camera’s Live focus video function has been expanded to feature a wider variety of bokeh effects (including blur, big circle, color point and glitch) that blur videos’ backgrounds and make your subject really stand out. Super steady video stabilization has also been enhanced, and now boasts support for the camera’s Hyperlapse mode, as well as an improved sample rate (from 500MHz to 833MHz) that enables it to produce smoother and more natural videos.

In addition, the Galaxy Note10’s Gallery app features an all-new, built-in video editor that allows users to combine video clips, adjust playback speed, add transition effects and license-free music, layer text and more, either by hand, or with the precision of the S Pen. It’s simple, convenient, and another fun way that the Galaxy Note10 helps users make their mark.

5. The Galaxy Ecosystem

Samsung is continuously enriching the Galaxy ecosystem with connected capabilities that simplify daily life. The Galaxy Note10’s seamless integration with the new Galaxy Watch Active2 is one such example of this effortless convenience.

To help users step up their selfie game, the Galaxy Watch Active2 features a handy Watch Camera Controller7 function that offers users a preview of their shot before they snap it with their Galaxy Note10, lets them take the picture with a tap of their smartwatch’s screen, and allows them to easily view and zoom into their photo to make sure they’re happy with the result.

Connecting the Galaxy Note10 to a PC or Mac is just as simple with the newly enhanced Samsung DeX. Now, all users need to do to transition their mobile experience to a larger screen is connect their Galaxy smartphone to their laptop or computer using a simple USB cable. Once connected, they’ll be able to easily drag and drop files between their smartphone and PC, and conveniently manage both PC and mobile apps side by side.

In addition to making Samsung DeX even more dynamic, the Galaxy Note10 features Link to Windows integrated directly into its Quick Panel. This makes it easier for users to work efficiently by allowing them to focus their attention on a single screen. After connecting to their Windows 10 PC with a click, users will be able to mirror their phone’s screen, view notifications, send and receive messages8, and sync recent photos9 directly from their computer.

Last but not least, the Galaxy Note10 takes mobile gaming to the next level with Samsung’s new P2P streaming service, PlayGalaxy Link. The service helps ensure that power gamers never miss a second of play – even when they’re on the go – by allowing them to use their mobile device to pick up where they left off on any PC-loaded game. There’s no need for local storage, and with the Galaxy Note10’s premium specs, gamers get rich, PC-quality gameplay and seamless streaming performance, all in one powerfully portable package.

With the introduction of the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+, Samsung Electronics has once again raised the bar for mobile productivity with devices that combine elegant design and premium performance to help users make the most of every moment.

Check out the videos below for an up-close look at the smartphones’ newest and most innovative features.

A Groundbreaking Design

This year’s Galaxy Note is available in a choice of two sizes: the 6.3-inch Galaxy Note10, and the 6.8-inch Galaxy Note10+. Both are exceptionally thin and light in the hand, and both feature seamless designs highlighted by their virtually bezel-less Cinematic Infinity Displays.

With three iridescent color options to choose from – Aura Glow, Aura White, and Aura Black – it’s easy to find the perfect Note to suit your style.

An Even Smarter S Pen

Sleek, slim and even more powerful, the Galaxy Note10’s redesigned S Pen offers users greater control over their device with S Pen Air actions, which make everything from switching camera modes to skipping music tracks as simple as a flick of the wrist.

Notetaking on the Galaxy Note10 is similarly seamless. Now, not only can you easily adjust your pen’s color, you can also zoom in or out on notes, and even convert your handwriting into digital text that can be exported to various formats – including Microsoft Word – for simple editing and sharing.

A Pro-Grade Camera

Speaking of simple, featuring Samsung’s most advanced imaging technology and camera software, the Galaxy Note10 makes recording pro-grade video on the go blissfully easy. With just a few taps, the camera’s new Zoom-In Mic feature and enhanced Super steady and Live focus video functions offer users the power to capture and create incredible content anytime, anywhere.

A Built-In Video Editor

Once you’ve captured a memorable clip, the Galaxy Note10’s native video editor offers all the tools you’ll need to turn it into a shareworthy video. This built-in feature makes it easy to stitch clips together, adjust playback speed, add transition effects, and layer in text and drawings – by hand, or with the precision of the S Pen.

More Dynamic with DeX

Samsung’s newest smartphones are packed with innovations designed to help users seamlessly switch from work to play and from project to project when they’re on the go.

Connecting your phone to your PC or Mac is easier than ever with the Galaxy Note10, which lets you launch Samsung DeX with a simple USB cable. The platform makes it easy to drag and drop or copy and paste files from your phone to your computer,1 and because it’s backed by Samsung Knox’s defense-grade security, you can trust that your data will remain safe and secure.

Seamless Windows Integration

To help users focus on tasks at hand without bouncing from screen to screen, the Galaxy Note10 also offers seamless integration with Link to Windows. Incorporated directly into the Quick Panel, this convenient feature enables Galaxy Note10 users to easily mirror their phone’s screen, check notifications, send and receive messages2 and view recent photos3 on their Windows 10 PC.

Next-Level Gaming

Packing a one-two punch of premium power and unparalleled performance, the Galaxy Note10 offers a gaming experience unlike any other.

Advanced hardware and game-optimizing features bring console-quality gameplay to users’ hands. And when we talk about taking gaming to the next level, we’re not just talking about mobile games. With the Galaxy Note10’s top-shelf specs and Samsung’s PlayGalaxy Link P2P service, taking a PC gaming session on the road couldn’t be easier.

1 Currently, the copying and pasting of files may only be performed from PC to DeX, not from DeX to PC.

2 Limited to 1,000 most recent messages.

3 Limited to 25 most recent photos taken by the phone’s camera or screen captured.

Samsung Electronics’ latest additions to its flagship Note smartphone series, the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+, and tablet range, the Galaxy Tab S6, are purposefully-built power devices that enable you to live, work and play with utmost productivity. But a feature of both series that is key to helping you unlock your creativity and providing you with a truly seamless device experience is the S Pen.

First introduced alongside the initial Galaxy Note in 2011 and introduced more recently to the Galaxy Tab range, the S Pen has evolved over the years to become the ultimate tool, providing enhanced creativity with and increased usability of your device. Now, the Galaxy Note10’s S Pen has been re-designed to help users unlock the full power of their device.

The latest S Pen features a sleek unibody design and 10 hours of usage on a single charge thanks to its 350uAh lithium-titanate battery that provides high stability and resilience against external forces. The S Pen now also supports intuitive gesture recognition with S Pen Air actions so that you can always be completely in control. Thanks to its 6-axis sensor (which consists of three velocity sensors and three gyro sensors), S Pen Air actions let users take pictures, zoom in and out and switch camera perspective with a simple gesture, as well as change content and volume in multimedia apps with ease.

Take a look at the infographic below for more information on the full capabilities of the S Pen for the Galaxy Note10 and the Galaxy Tab S6.

Samsung Electronics today announced the next step in its long-term, strategic partnership with Microsoft to bring seamless productivity experiences across devices, applications and services. Starting with exclusive Microsoft integrations in the new Galaxy Note10, users will now have a simple way to work fluidly between a smartphone and a PC, while the Galaxy Book S introduces an all new mobile computing experience with its uncompromised mobility and next-generation performance. Bringing the best of both Galaxy and Windows platforms, this partnership will continue to expand as Samsung and Microsoft leverage cloud computing and advanced intelligence to deliver rich, seamless mobile experiences to market in the 5G era.

“We believe the mobile industry is on the cusp of a transformation, one in which individual devices give way to seamless, connected and continuous experiences, wherever we go,” said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. “Open collaborations, like this industry-leading partnership with Microsoft, are instrumental in pioneering a new generation of mobile experiences. As new technologies like 5G become a reality, our partnership will play an important role in helping people live more fluid, flexible lives.”

“Microsoft and Samsung share a long history of innovation and collaboration, and today’s announcements mark the next stage in our partnership,” said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. “Our ambition is to help people be more productive on any device, anywhere – and the combination of our intelligent experiences with Samsung’s powerful, new devices makes this a reality.”

Introducing Seamless Productivity Across Devices

Consumers live and work across multiple devices, and the need for better and easier connectivity is clear. Today’s cross-device experience can be fragmented—users on a PC have to interrupt their flow to look over at their phone, open an app to then send images, videos or files to their PC. Instead, they want a world in which their content syncs automatically, so they can start a project in one place on one device, and pick it up on another, without distractions.

As mobile-first users make up a larger share of the workforce, the demand for more seamless connectivity will only increase. According to the analyst firm CCS Insight1, 42% of employees spend more than three hours a day working on a mobile device, which is even higher for millennial employees at 51%. This partnership enables users to now have a unified experience across multiple devices wherever they are.

Samsung and Microsoft are also bridging the gap between mobility and performance with the new Samsung Galaxy Book S, which offers an always-connected solution that brings the smartphone experience to a laptop. The Galaxy Book S has built-in LTE connectivity, a powerhouse battery life and an ultra-slim, lightweight design to usher in a new mobile computing experience.

Building on an Established, Successful Relationship

Samsung and Microsoft have had a long-standing partnership focused on making computing more productive and powerful. Starting with Galaxy Note10, Microsoft’s most popular productivity solutions for smartphones will be seamlessly integrated into Galaxy products and services:

Enhanced Outlook Experience: The preferred mobile email and calendar solution on more than 100 million devices, Outlook helps customers connect, organize and get things done. Outlook brings email, calendar2, contacts and files together, all in one app – helping you save time and focus on what matters. Galaxy Note10 features an optimized and integrated Outlook app, which enhances work and personal communications as well as time management. The enhanced S Pen with the Galaxy Note10 allows users to get short previews when hovering over emails, calendar events and contacts.

OneDrive Cloud Storage: Beginning this fall, Samsung Gallery offers the option to sync with Microsoft OneDrive services — so users can access their photos and videos from across their devices3, and don’t have to worry about whether they recently backed them up.

Seamlessly Flow Between PC and Mobile: Link to Windows is built into the Galaxy Note10’s Quick Panel, so it’s simple and convenient to send messages, manage notifications, sync photos and mirror your phone4 on users’ PCs5. This continuity of services will create a critical connection with any Windows 10 PC saving users the extra time and trouble of physically switching between their Galaxy Note106 and PC.

Industry-Leading Productivity for Business

With the Galaxy Note10, Samsung and Microsoft will also commit to empower businesses to be even more productive. This partnership will offer enterprise users improved remote access to their enterprise workspace, including the full suite of Office applications.

A Commitment to Ongoing Collaboration

Samsung believes an open and collaborative approach will set the new standard for meaningful innovations that prioritize quality, security and experience. This approach is crucial in breaking down technology barriers and creating opportunities for consumers. Samsung has consistently demonstrated this belief through a long history of open collaboration with other industry leaders. In the years to come, as cloud computing and advanced intelligence progress and network speeds rapidly increase, the partnership between Samsung and Microsoft will only become more important. Together, Samsung and Microsoft will pioneer new technologies and deliver the innovations that will transform the way users work.
