Petrichor, the earthy smell that arises when water droplets crash against the soil marks the beginning of the rains. Providing the much-needed relief from the sweltering heat of the summers, it’s also a time when nature rejuvenates to look its best with trees turning lush green to different hues of the sky.

This season also provides the the shutterbug the perfect picturesque frame to capture on their smartphones.

With the right theme, skill, and technique, you can get outstanding shots, especially with your Samsung Galaxy’s innovative technologies that offer superior camera capabilities. We asked some of our Samsung Members to share the Monsoon photographs that they were busy clicking with their Galaxy. They came out brilliant!

Samsung Member for the past one year, Rohit Gadher is a photography ‘enthusiast and a Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro user. He loves shooting with the Pro mode on his Galaxy smartphone. “The colours and the details that I get to capture using Galaxy smartphone is unbelievable,” Rohit said.

Another Samsung Member and Galaxy Note 8 user, Aditya Mane also shared some amazing shots. “A camera which is capable of capturing a high dynamic range is very important while shooting photos during monsoon and my Galaxy Note 8 helps me a lot during such shooting conditions,” he said.

Low-light photography can be challenging for most of us. But #withGalaxy and its amazing camera innovations in play, great low-light shots are not far away.

Samsung Newsroom India spoke to some Samsung Members who shared nifty tips on capturing great low-light photos using a Galaxy smartphone.

Photo: Samsung Member Dr Ramdas Pai #withGalaxy

“I’ve been using Galaxy smartphones for the past four years. In low-light photography, the Variable Aperture technology helps a lot,” says Akath Dua, a Samsung Member and Galaxy Note10+ user.

A dentist by profession and a photography enthusiast, Dr Ramdas Pai has been a Samsung Member for three years and swears by his Galaxy smartphones for photography.

Photo: Samsung Member Dr Ramdas Pai #withGalaxy

Here are some of the tips shared by our Samsung Members for low-light photography:

Keep a Steady Base

Photo: Samsung Member Dr Ramdas Pai #withGalaxy

While shooting in a low-light situation, the shutter speed slows down to allow light to pass through the aperture for a longer duration. Movements or shaky hands can result in a blurry image. “Try keeping your phone on a stable surface or use a tripod to eliminate blur in your images,” says Dr Pai.

Photo: Samsung Member Dr Ramdas Pai #withGalaxy
