So, you think darkness is your ally. You merely adopted the dark… The Night Mode on the Galaxy Z Series was born for it. With the right set of tools and know-how, you won’t miss a single unforgettable moment just because the light’s a little low.

An incredible range of camera modes – perfect for every occasion when it comes to taking epic shots at night – you have everything you need with the Nightography feature. Innovative AI multi-frame processing makes every pixel pop with vivid colour and astonishing detail. Just swipe to Night Mode on your Galaxy Z smartphone, get snapping, hit share, and watch the likes and views pour in.

Steady does it

Steadiness is crucial when it comes to Nightography, as the camera needs time to take in as much light as possible. Any small movement can lead to blurry photos, so if you’re looking for sharp, vivid images, place your Galaxy Z Fold4 or Galaxy Z Flip4 down to take next-level hands-free selfies or wefies on Flex Mode. When the action gets going, recordings stay smooth, with enhanced OIS and VDIS.

Snaps for the Pros

Not all nightographs are shot equally. Only the pros know exactly what features work best under different lighting conditions. With Pro mode, you have the freedom to experiment with individual camera settings, including shutter speed, exposure, and aperture length. Make the most of Pro mode, using different settings and light levels. Try a lower shutter speed to capture more light at night, a higher ISO value (ISO 400+) for enhanced image clarity in low light, or increase the exposure for even brighter evening photos.

Rule-breaker, Art maker

Capturing the perfect shot in the dark to rock your Insta-world takes more than simply pointing and shooting. While Nightography can be just as enchanting as regular daytime photography, it takes a certain amount of playing about (and even breaking) photography rules to discover your inner Michelangelo. Forget the rule of thirds or the golden ration… play up symmetry, height, distance, and lighting to give your images different perspectives. See the world from a whole new angle – flip images on their head or rotate them for an artistic feel. Get proppy with anything and everything within reach; better yet, challenge yourself and lean into negative space to really highlight your subject.

Look at me… I’m the editor now

Things may be dark in the night, but that doesn’t mean colours have vanished. It’s up to you to bring them to light with the help of editing features. For example, altering the saturation levels changes the intensity and vibrancy of the colours – your photo takes a new lease of life. When you’re ready to save your photo, opt for a RAW format rather than PNG or JPG; this gives your photo more detail and editing capabilities.

Photography is more than just a skill or a hobby. It’s art! Every photographer brings their own perspective and personality to a picture. Two photographers can take a picture of the same thing and get two completely different results. The question is, what do you want to create? Art or bleh?

With the Galaxy A series, dive into a world of impactful mobile camera innovations without breaking the bank. Pwn these photo trends with the Galaxy A series phone.

Nightlife and neon lights

A visual aesthetic that is taking over Instagram is night mode photography, along with neon lights. Think Blade Runner and Cyberpunk vibes. Don’t worry about fuzziness in low lighting as the Galaxy A series’ improved Night mode makes every photo and video pop, lessens noise, and automatically adjusts video frame rate for clear and vibrant videos. The AI-enhanced camera experience is designed for moments of learning, creating and exploring. OIS and VDIS technology stabilises your camera for sharp and steady shots every time.

Perfect timing pictures

When the universe aligns so precisely, you can capture a perfectly timed photo that’s worth a million bucks. Borrowing features from the Galaxy flagship series, Single Take lets you snap multiple pictures and videos at a moment’s notice with just one tap of a button. With the help of AI, you can run, jump, get creative with the way you capture content, and your pictures and videos will always come out looking fantastic as Single Take helps you choose the best ones. You might just end up with some of the coolest perfect timing pictures that will break the internet.

Smiles, smize & selfies

Then of course there’s selfies and wefies we all love. With a range of front cameras up to 32MP[1], you can proudly post up your flawless selfies on the Gram. All that’s left is for you to do is practice your smiles and smize. The Fun mode, which has new Snapchat Lenses[2] updated regularly, lets you inject humour into your shots with playful filters. Go ape!

Go Pro

Even if you’re not most talented photographer, you can create masterpieces with the Pro or Pro Video modes on your Galaxy A series. Play around with ISO settings, speed, exposure value, focus, and white balance to develop the exact photo or video styles you want. It’s really all about the theme or vision you have in mind. These days, you don’t need to lug around a DSLR and all kinds of equipment anymore. Consolidate your life with smartphone photography, which gives you’re an accessible, affordable, convenient way to experiment.

Motion pictures

Add comedy to your videos with Slow Motion mode, which plays back 8 times slower than normal videos, or the Super Slow-Mo mode, which plays back 32 times slower than normal. If you’re planning a surprise party, record the birthday boy or girl walking into the room with these modes for a memorable home movie. Or try out the Hyperlapse mode, which is a technique in time-lapse videography that’s speeds things up. 10x is good for recording traffic streaming by, 15x for clouds moving across the sky, 30x crowds of people walking by, and 60x for sunrises and sunsets.

Throwback takes

Sharing our baby pictures and old family photos on Instagram are all the rage now. There’s something about sepia that makes us nostalgic, plus we’re curious to see how our friends or favourite influencer looked like way back when. Use Photo Remaster to breathe new life into old or low-quality images. All you need to do is open the photo in Gallery, tap on the vertical ellipsis, and select Remaster Picture. You can also tap on Object eraser to remove any background distractions and photobombs to perfect your favourite shots.

Get pro and pwn these photos with the Galaxy A series today. Go to: https://www.samsung.com/my/smartphones/galaxy-a/

Samsung Electronics today welcomed the S21 FE 5G to the Galaxy S21 series. The S21 FE 5G is a smartphone that delivers select fan-favorite Galaxy S21 premium

Samsung Electronics today welcomed the S21 FE 5G to the Galaxy S21 series. The S21 FE 5G is a smartphone that delivers select fan-favorite Galaxy S21 premium features in a well-rounded package to empower people to explore and express themselves. It is equipped with some of the most-loved aspects of the Galaxy S21 — eye-catching design, powerful performance, a pro-grade camera, and seamless ecosystem connectivity.

“At Samsung, we’re focused on bringing the latest mobile innovations to even more people,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ MX (Mobile eXperience) Business. “We saw an incredible response to Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 lineup. So we applied the same approach with S21 FE 5G, equipping it with the premium features that matter most to our loyal Galaxy fans — because we’re focused on delivering a smartphone that meets their most important needs.”

More Ways for Users to Express Themselves

The S21 FE 5G continues the Galaxy S21 legacy with a premium, signature design. It all starts with the iconic, fan-favorite Contour-Cut frame that seamlessly integrates with S21 FE 5G’s camera housing for a stylish, unified look. Samsung is giving consumers even more ways to express themselves with four new, fashionable color options — Olive, Lavender, White or Graphite — all of which include a stylish haze finish. And the S21 FE 5G features a sleek and slim 7.9mm-thick body, so it can easily slip into a pocket to keep up with any on-the-go lifestyle.

Power for When Fans Need It Most

Samsung users said power and display are critical to keeping up in today’s 24/7 world. That’s why S21 FE 5G comes equipped with Galaxy’s latest, super-fast application processor – the same powerful processor used in the S21 series. Dedicated gamers and streamers will be wowed by the S21 FE 5G’s ultra-crisp, high-quality graphics and picture quality, and the S21 FE 5G’s new 240Hz touch response rate takes all their favorite games to new heights with lightning-fast reaction capabilities[1]. And those games will look incredibly smooth thanks to S21 FE 5G’s 120Hz refresh rate, which provides the highest resolution on a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

Long-lasting batteries are also a top priority for busy, on-the-go Galaxy users, so S21 FE 5G is outfitted with an all-day battery built to last from work, to home, and everywhere in between.

The Power to See in the Dark with Night Mode

Capturing stunning photographs at night can be a challenge for everyone. Low light and camera noise can lead to blurry, grainy photos, causing you to miss capturing that memorable moment. But thanks to the AI powering the camera on the Galaxy S21 series, you can now take stunning images in low light conditions with just the click of the shutter.

Intelligent Low Light Performance

Whether you’re trying to snap a photo of a beautiful cityscape at night or a group selfie in a low-lit restaurant, from the moment you click the shutter, the camera AI on the Galaxy S21 series begins a three-phase process. Here’s how it works:

1. During the capture phase, the camera takes multiple pictures of the scene at different exposure levels.
2. After capturing, the camera begins Multi-frame Processing, combining the images into one and enhancing the brightness of the picture.
3. Lastly, the AI image signal processor begins post-processing the image, reducing noise and fine-tuning the details. The results are crystal clear images, with greatly reduced noise and blur.

The Power of Multi-frame Processing

The keys to achieving that clarity and detail are in the multi-frame layering and AI restoration. When the multi-frame processing begins, the Galaxy S21 series intelligently selects the sharpest frame from all the images captured to use as a reference image. After selecting the reference frame, the AI aligns and registers the rest of the images before delivering the finalized photo. When finalized, the image has significantly reduced noise and a superior tone balance between the main subject and its background.

The same multi-frame process allows the Galaxy S21 to support clear, high-resolution images even under poor conditions such as when zooming in on a neon sign to create an image with high-dynamic range. While zooming in on distant subjects, the Galaxy S21 is capable of capturing up to 20 frames at different exposure values (ev), depending on the conditions. Capturing at different exposure values allows the camera to produce a sharper final image that has high-dynamic range with true-to-life exposure of both shadows and highlights. So, when you’re zooming in on that neon sign, you’ll be able to make out every letter.

During multi-frame processing, the AI determines whether it needs to use every frame captured, or just a subset. With more data from multiple frames, the Galaxy S21 series’ camera AI can deliver bright, tack-sharp images even in low light or when zoomed in from extremely far away—whether it’s a photo of a neon sign, or your favorite singer at a concert.

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ are packed with powerful tools designed to help users unleash their creativity and be more productive. Now, with an update set

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ are packed with powerful tools designed to help users unleash their creativity and be more productive. Now, with an update set for release beginning in Malaysian markets from September 26, Samsung Electronics is introducing many of those same bar-raising innovations – including features like AR Doodle, a built-in video editor and Link to Windows integration – to the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+.

Once Galaxy S10 users download the update, they’ll notice that their smartphone’s pro-grade camera has become even more powerful. The update expands the camera’s Night Mode to include support for the front-facing camera as well – offering users more freedom to snap vivid shots after dark. It also introduces enhanced Super steady video stabilization, as well as support for dynamic Galaxy Note10 functions like AR Doodle and Live focus video recording. The former lets users enhance their videos with fun, augmented-reality drawings and messages, while the latter lets them apply bokeh effects (including blur, big circle, color point and glitch) to videos recorded with the front or rear camera.

Whenever Galaxy S10 users capture a memorable clip, the camera’s new, Gallery app-accessible video editor offers all the tools they’ll need to turn it into a share-worthy video. This versatile feature makes it easy to edit videos like a pro, and features simple tools for trimming clips, stitching them together, adjusting playback speed and more. You can even use the function to add subtitles and background music to clips to make your content more unique.

The update also incorporates support for Samsung DeX for PC. Once users download the app from SamsungDeX.com, they’ll be able to launch Samsung DeX on their PC or Mac simply by connecting their Galaxy S10 to their computer via USB cable. Link to Windows support has also been added, which means that Galaxy S10 users will be able to wirelessly connect their phone to their Windows 10 PC and easily view its contents, send and receive messages, and sync recent photos directly from their computer.

Apps that Galaxy S10 users rely on every day, including Samsung Pass and Messages, have also been made more versatile and convenient. Now, Samsung Pass’s setup has been simplified, making it easier for Galaxy S10 users to utilize their device’s advanced biometric technologies to log in to apps and websites quickly and securely. In the Messages app, new icons for adding photos and videos have been positioned to the left of the text window to offer users easy access to the files they need.

As Jiyoung Mun, an engineer at Samsung Electronics’ Mobile R&D Office, explained, the Galaxy S10’s update reflects Samsung’s commitment to offering more users access to exceptional innovations. “At Samsung Electronics, we’re constantly exploring ways to offer Galaxy device users the best possible smartphone experience, and this software update is an extension of that commitment,” said Mun.

These days, our smartphones are so much more than phones. They’re also our go-to cameras, entertainment hubs, portable computers, and so much more. However, adding new layers of functionality to smartphones has caused their user interfaces (UIs) to become more cluttered and complex – making the devices themselves harder to use. As smartphones grow increasingly more sophisticated, users require UIs that make managing the devices nice and simple.

And now, they have one. Samsung’s One UI is the company’s most simple and streamlined UI yet, built from the ground up to help users focus on what matters most. One UI’s intuitive design fosters convenient interactions, while its clean aesthetic minimizes clutter to make viewing your screen more comfortable. Follow along as we examine the innovative interface in more detail.

Natural Interactions

One UI’s streamlined structure reflects a deep understanding of how smartphone users interact with their devices today.

The interface makes navigating big-screen phones simple by effectively splitting the display in half. With One UI, the top half of the screen is for viewing content, while the lower half is for interacting with your device.

Freeing up space at the top of the screen creates a more balanced, visually comfortable aesthetic, while focusing interactions on the lower half enhances usability. Key tabs, action buttons and pop-ups are easy to reach so you can access them – and finish your task – faster.

Focus on the Task at Hand

One UI’s minimalist design eliminates unnecessary distractions to make it easier to focus on one thing at a time.

One UI’s ‘focus blocks’ help users focus on important information by presenting content in a manner that’s visually comfortable. The images on the right demonstrate how focus blocks streamline the Bixby Home screen.

The interface pares down the amount of information on display in order to offer users a more focused and fluid experience. It does this with subtle design enhancements like ‘focus blocks’, which direct your eyes to the content that matters without overwhelming you with information.

With One UI’s streamlined approach to app management, when a user launches an app, instead of filling the screen with functions that may not be useful at that particular moment, One UI keeps things simple, displaying only the functions and info the user needs to complete their task. This means that, for example, once a user enters a phone number into the dial pad, menu options unrelated to entering a phone number vanish, and new options to create a contact or start a video call appear.

A Comfortable View

Because we spend so much time on our phones, it’s important that their screens are easy on the eyes.

Visual comfort is especially important when it’s dark, which is why Samsung built a customizable Night Mode into One UI. Easily accessible and incorporated across the entire interface, Night Mode, once enabled, adjusts the screen’s tone, brightness and contrast to offer users a more focused and comfortable viewing experience.

The interface’s spacious, orderly design changes how users view their device. Clear and intuitive visuals maximize readability, fostering an overall look that’s immersive and more comfortable to take in.

One Beautiful UI

Samsung carefully refined One UI’s design with a focus on beauty and consistency.

The rounded corners of the interface’s app icons and focus blocks are perfect examples of this attention to detail. Standardizing these design elements not only enhances the UI’s aesthetic appeal, it also creates pleasing consistency with the rounded corners of Galaxy devices.
