Galaxy Unpacked 2026: Unveiling the Next Era of Galaxy AI

Galaxy Unpacked 2026 was the highlight of the three-day program. Samsung introduced a more integrated and personalized Galaxy AI, emphasizing a true agentic AI experience, along with enhanced privacy and security and new features of the Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Buds4 series.

“It was incredible,” said Samsung Members Star Oksana Bykova (USA). “Samsung showcased Galaxy AI to expand everyday experiences, and Super Clear Call on the Galaxy Buds4 series was especially impressive.”

“I’m excited about the Privacy Display on Galaxy S26 Ultra,” said Samsung Members Star Gerson Manzanares (Nicaragua). “The way the screen automatically adjusts viewing angles to block prying eyes is truly ingenious.”

AMA Session: Going Behind the Scenes of Galaxy Camera Innovation

The Ask Me Anything (AMA) session was one of the most popular programs. Sungdae Joshua Cho — Executive Vice President and Head of Visual Solution Team, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics — took questions and responded in real time.

The program included briefings and demonstrations of the Galaxy camera’s key technologies and features. Participants noted visible differences in brightness, noise and detail, highlighting how these advancements translate into meaningful user experiences.

Going beyond a Q&A, the session became an open forum for direct dialogue between participants and Samsung.

Explore SF: Capturing the City Through Galaxy

Another highlight was “Explore SF Your Way with Galaxy,” where participants explored the city using the Galaxy S26 series in their own ways.

With AI Eraser, they effortlessly captured San Francisco’s scenic views, while Super Steady delivered clear, blur-free shots even on the move. Participants shared these moments with their communities, extending their experiences and insights to a wider audience.

Beyond the Event: Carrying the Momentum Forward

Galaxy Community Connect 2026 centered on the Galaxy S26 series, offering participants opportunities to explore Galaxy AI throughout the event. In San Francisco, they reinterpreted and expanded the Galaxy experience in their own ways, fostering authentic connections.

Here is a spotlight on some of the members who attended this year’s onboarding gathering.

A master of content creation, Calvin has been a part of the Samsung Members Stars crew since 2022 and also visited Samsung Members Stars Connect in Seoul recently. As someone who enjoys mastering the art of new transition videos and photography, Calvin often makes beautiful videos encaspulating his memories on his Members Star journey and inspires all to further develop their passions with Samsung Galaxy devices. He recently won Best Unpacked Reporter for his video of his Galaxy Unpacked experience in Seoul as a Samsung Member Star.

Calvin describes the journey of connecting with Samsung Members around the world as a priceless and life-changing experience that he would not trade for anything else. To him, Samsung Members creates a cohesive space to share the excitement for upcoming Samsung devices and features.

Doctor, traveler, photographer extraordinaire, Rafsan or Raffy, specializes in using his Galaxy S23 Ultra to capture beautiful slice of life shots in Australia and on his travels, which create a beautiful visual spread on Instagram (@photosbyraffy). In his spare time, Raffy also creates YouTube Videos and runs a podcast called “randInt with Raffy & Chandra”.

His most enjoyable part of the Members Stars program thus far was visiting the Galaxy Experience Space in Singapore which gave him the chance to build close relationships with fellow Members Stars across Southeast Asia & Oceania.

On the Samsung Members platform, you’ll often see posts from him detailing a step-by-step guide to capturing stunning images using the Expert RAW app, tips on hyperlapse photography, as well as exploring the various Camera modes on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

A Samsung fan since 2004, Timmy is a supermom who enjoys connecting various Samsung devices at home via the SmartThings app, taking care of her family with increased accessibility and convenience.

Recently named Samsung Member Star for the month of June, Timmy is an active contributor on the Samsung Members platform, constantly starting conversations around new features on Samsung’s visual displays and other reasons why she loves Samsung devices.

The action never stops for Samsung Members Stars as every year is packed with the full Samsung experience, such as online regional workshops on mastering mobile photography with Samsung’s Expert RAW app.

In-person events are the perfect opportunity for Members Stars deep dive into the Samsung ecosystem and connect with this amazing Samsung Members community.

At the start of 2023, we welcomed our region’s Members Stars like Rafsan at the Galaxy Experience Space in Singapore. Aside from witnessing the unveiling of the new Galaxy S23 series, Members Stars were also treated to immersive experiences included a guided Nightography tour along Singapore’s boat quay and an exclusive visit to the instagrammable funhouse, 29Rooms.

In May, Calvin and several Members Stars from SEAO were specially invited to a three-day trip to the Samsung Innovation Museum and Samsung Digital City in Suwon, for a behind-the-scenes look at Samsung’s headquarters, and development and testing processes. They also connected with Members Stars from across the world through talks, workshops, and challenges.
