This shared commitment to active living and community engagement will be brought to life through a series of activations, beginning with the inaugural Samsung Galaxy Walkathon on 13 September, held as part of the National Stadium Experience.

The National Stadium Experience, which takes place from 29 August to 20 September, is The Kallang Group’s signature community event, and will feature crowd favourites including bouncy castles and the opportunity to run on the National Stadium track, bringing families and the community together through fun activities and memorable shared experiences.

Held in support of World Heart Day 2026 and in partnership with Singapore Heart Foundation, the Samsung Galaxy Walkathon invites Singaporeans of all ages and abilities to complete a meaningful 5km walk around The Kallang precinct, equivalent to 6,100 steps, in celebration Singapore’s 61st birthday. To mark this momentous community effort and champion heart health awareness, The Kallang Group will light-up the National Stadium in red on the evening of 13 September.

As part of the Walkathon, Samsung has launched a donation drive and will contribute to the Singapore Heart Foundation to support efforts to raise awareness of heart health and provide financial assistance to patients.

Participants will also have the opportunity to experience Samsung’s AI-powered wearables^[1], which provide personalised insights to support healthier habits and wellness goals. Beyond community activations, the partnership will also enhance visitor experiences across The Kallang through innovative display technologies and connected solutions. These include:

As the Official Consumer Electronics Partner of the Singapore Tennis Open 2026 (21 to 27 September), Samsung will bring fans closer to the action by screening selected matches on high-definition displays at OCBC Arena and the Fan Zone at Arena Park. The #PlayGalaxy Cup is a global mobile gaming tournament designed to showcase the powerful gaming performance of Galaxy smartphones. This year marked the first time the competition was held as a full-season league, with regional qualifiers leading up to the World Final.

The top two teams from each region advanced, bringing a total of 10 teams from nine countries to the World Final at Gamescom.

After proving their skills through the regional qualifiers, the finalists then competed over two days for the championship.

Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo units^[1], designed to meet growing consumer demand for appliances that can reduce everyday effort, help manage energy consumption and integrate seamlessly into connected homes.^[2] Combining enhanced AI features, an intuitive Smart Screen experience and SmartThings-enabled^[3] energy management, the lineup helps users manage laundry more conveniently and efficiently.

The new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo will be available in two models: the WD90F21BCSSP 21kg +11kg washer dryer, and the WD90H11C4WSP 11kg +7kg version. It is also the first white Bespoke AI Laundry Combo unit that is equipped with AI Home.

AI Wash+ features enhanced fabric recognition capabilities to include Outdoor and Denim fabrics, in addition to the previously supported fabric types.^[4] Using multiple sensors, the system detects the weight and five different fabric types, automatically dispenses an appropriate amount of water and detergent, then continuously monitors soil levels during the wash cycle. The new Bespoke AI Washer Dryer enhances everyday convenience with AI Home Smart Screen,^[5] a 7-inch LCD that serves as an intuitive control centre for laundry. The display provides easy access to functions and settings through touchscreen controls, while also personalising the user experience by remembering usage habits, suggesting cycles^[6] and delivering timely information. After each cycle, users can access laundry reports through the SmartThings app,^[7] including insights into energy and water consumption.

The lineup also features Samsung’s upgraded Bixby^[8] voice assistant, which enables users to manage laundry more easily through natural voice interactions. For example, users can ask Bixby to start a preferred cycle, add extra rinsing, check remaining wash time or explain information shown on the screen without touching the controls. Bixby can also provide spoken feedback on information displayed on the screen, making laundry management more accessible and intuitive.

Connected Experiences Support Smarter Energy Management

Through SmartThings, which is accessible via AI Home, or on selected smartphones or tablets, users can access a range of connected features designed to enhance convenience and support more efficient energy management.
