The 18kg washer offers powerful and fast performance even for large loads and items such as king-sized bedding. Washing cycles are efficient, with a normal cycle taking 36 minutes to complete^[4], while Bubble Wash technology ensures effective removal of stains or detergent on clothes. Meanwhile, equipped with a vent system, the 14kg dryer supports speed drying – with heavy duty loads being completed within 45 minutes^[5].

With durability a top priority for laundry equipment, the washer is fitted with Vibration Reduction Technology Plus (VRT+) to reduce vibrations^[6] which can accelerate wear and tear of internal parts. Both appliances are also easy to operate and maintain. The Manager Mode on the washer enables convenient adjustment of settings such as rinse and water levels, and with Wi-fi connectivity, operators can also remotely monitor the status and performance of the machine.

Samsung Electronics Singapore today announced that it has entered a collaboration with Fraser Residence River Promenade in Singapore to pilot AI-enabled hospitality experiences.

Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo units^[1], designed to meet growing consumer demand for appliances that can reduce everyday effort, help manage energy consumption and integrate seamlessly into connected homes.^[2] Combining enhanced AI features, an intuitive Smart Screen experience and SmartThings-enabled^[3] energy management, the lineup helps users manage laundry more conveniently and efficiently.

The new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo will be available in two models: the WD90F21BCSSP 21kg +11kg washer dryer, and the WD90H11C4WSP 11kg +7kg version. It is also the first white Bespoke AI Laundry Combo unit that is equipped with AI Home.

Enhanced AI Features Deliver Intelligent Fabric Care

The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo units are equipped with Samsung’s latest AI-enhanced laundry cycles, designed to optimise performance across a wider range of fabric types, smaller loads, and laundry conditions.

AI Wash+ features enhanced fabric recognition capabilities to include Outdoor and Denim fabrics, in addition to the previously supported fabric types.^[4] Using multiple sensors, the system detects the weight and five different fabric types, automatically dispenses an appropriate amount of water and detergent, then continuously monitors soil levels during the wash cycle. In addition, the Flex Auto Dispense gives users greater flexibility by supporting two detergents or increased detergent capacity. It can hold up enough detergent and fabric softener for up to 12 loads, or up to 30 loads for only detergent.

The new Bespoke AI Washer Dryer enhances everyday convenience with AI Home Smart Screen,^[5] a 7-inch LCD that serves as an intuitive control centre for laundry. The display provides easy access to functions and settings through touchscreen controls, while also personalising the user experience by remembering usage habits, suggesting cycles^[6] and delivering timely information. After each cycle, users can access laundry reports through the SmartThings app,^[7] including insights into energy and water consumption.

The lineup also features Samsung’s upgraded Bixby^[8] voice assistant, which enables users to manage laundry more easily through natural voice interactions. For example, users can ask Bixby to start a preferred cycle, add extra rinsing, check remaining wash time or explain information shown on the screen without touching the controls. As household energy costs remain a key concern for consumers, the new Bespoke AI Laundry supports AI Energy Mode^[9] in SmartThings Energy, which helps users monitor daily, weekly and monthly energy consumption while also providing estimated electricity costs. When compatible cycles are selected,^[10] AI Energy Mode can reduce energy use by up to 60% by applying AI Ecobubble technology^[11] to wash at lower temperatures and extending cycle time as needed.^[12]
