Samsung Announces One UI 9 Beta Feature Update for Galaxy S26 series

Samsung is bringing a major feature update to One UI 9 beta users on the Galaxy S26 series, with rollout starting August 28.

The update will introduce highly anticipated features already seen in the latest Galaxy Z series, each designed to make everyday tasks feel more seamless.

• My FanCam¹ makes it easier to capture and share standout moments, using AI to keep a selected person in focus and automatically reframing footage into different aspect ratios for social platforms.
• Now Brief² builds on the personalised experience by bringing useful information and recommendations together in customisable cards tailored to users’ routines, interests and daily needs. It now also surfaces security and privacy insights, helping users stay on top of potential risks and protective actions.

The update also enhances Now Nudge³ to deliver smarter, more contextual suggestions that help users better navigate everyday tasks and interactions.

Users already enrolled in the Galaxy S26 series One UI 9 beta program will receive a notification to download the update starting August 28.
