LONDON, UK – 07 March 2023 – Samsung Electronics UK Ltd. has announced the launch of its new single door Built-In Fridges and Built-In Freezers – offering households a smarter way to keep their food fresh, whilst giving a streamlined look to the kitchen to compliment Samsung’s new line of built-in ovens. The new range has been launched as Samsung continues to invest into the built-in market to support retailers.

Incorporating Samsung’s SpaceMaxTM Technology in both the Built-In Fridges and Built-In Freezers means you can get plenty of space without compromising on performance. Thin walls ensure more space for food storage on the inside, while the outside dimensions stay the same. What’s more, with Total No Frost you can maintain an even temperature, preventing ice build and therefore saving you the hassle of defrosting and therefore time.

With SmartThings Energy also featuring in the Built-In Fridges and Freezers, users can track their energy usage with SmartThings Energy[1] and access energy tips on their smartphone. Keep an eye on the energy usage consumption of your SmartThings enabled Refrigerator in real-time and track changes month to month.

Other features include Optimal Fresh + where you can control the freshness of your food with two temperature zones. The Optimal Fresh + box can be used as one large drawer or split into two zones to store your meats separate from your veg, both at their ideal temperatures for maximum flavour.

Experience the Humidity Fresh + drawer, letting you choose both the humidity and temperature to suit your chosen food and keep it fresh. On top of this, with the Cool Select+TM feature you can flex your refrigerator so you can switch between a fridge or a freezer and control it with four temperatures. The Power Freeze feature also rapidly lowers the temperature of the freezer once you’ve stocked up so you can be sure your frozen favourites are kept at their best.

The Metal Cooling Interior found on the Built-In Fridges and Freezers adds an extra touch of style to your fridge. With a beautiful reflective metal interior, the fridge looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside. A Soft Close Door on the refrigerator closes both gently – automatically reducing the speed of its movement in the final few centimetres – whilst a slide hinge on certain models enables an easier and quicker way to install than a fixed hinge, freeing up your time to enjoy your new kitchen.

All products in the new Built-In Refrigeration Range come with a 5 year warranty on parts and labour[2], along with a 20 year warranty on Digital Inverter Compressor. Providing outstanding peace of mind and long lasting performance, Samsung’s warranty is the industry’s longest[3] warranty on offer.
