Samsung Launches Smart Start – A New Proposition That Offers New Smart TV Customers Access To Premium TV Apps

London, UK – 2nd August 2021 – Samsung Electronics UK Ltd is pleased to announce its new Smart Start proposition that provides new customers with over £200 worth of exclusive offers to try out a variety of premium apps and entertainment when purchasing a Samsung Smart TV from its 2020/2021 TV range and activated during the promotion period. The offer will run for UK shoppers until 6th January 2022.

 

Recent research conducted by Samsung showed 89% of customers are interested in receiving information about offers and new services to use on their new TV*. The Smart Start platform allows customers the unique opportunity to try out a variety of new premium apps during the initial months they own the TV. It also gives them the chance to experience content in a way they may not have before, from watching movies in 4K HDR10+ to listening to music in Dolby Atmos sound quality.

 

Smart Start will be an ongoing proposition which will be constantly evolving, with new offers and services from content partners being added to give customers the best start with their new Smart TV.

 

Products within Samsung’s 2020/2021 Smart TV range are available from £279 and boast new innovative features and specifications which allow consumers to take their home entertainment setup to a whole new level. Eligible customers will be able to view the Smart Start offers on their new 2020/2021 Smart TVs within the pre-installed Samsung Promotion app. Once logged in, the app will display a unique voucher code for each exclusive offer giving consumers exclusive access to: five free UHD movie rentals with Rakuten TV, an enviable 3-month pass to access all the best British films and television series via streaming service Britbox, 3-months ad-free viewing at home on your TV, or download videos and music on your mobile to watch on the go with YouTube Premium, 4-months free access to 70+ million songs, ad-free with lossless audio from TIDAL HiFi, and 3-months free access to over 700+ on-demand workouts led by the world’s most in-demand trainers via Fiit.
