Samsung Pay Now Available to HSBC, First Direct, M&S Bank Cardholders

Samsung Pay continues to expand its partnership ecosystem to provide greater flexibility, access and choice for customers in the UK.

 

London, UK – 20 June 2017 – Samsung Electronics today announced that its digital wallet, Samsung Pay, is now available to HSBC, first direct and M&S Bank cardholders in the UK. Simple, secure and almost anywhere, Samsung Pay enables users to make faster and smarter purchases*. Additionally, Galaxy S8 and S8+ users can take advantage of the innovative iris scanner technology to authorise payments, providing a new layer of biometric security to ensure peace of mind.

 

HSBC, first direct and M&S Bank, join the growing portfolio of major payment networks and banks which Samsung Pay supports in the UK, including Mastercard and Visa, as well as cards issued by MBNA, Nationwide and Santander. More partners, including American Express, will be joining soon.
