Samsung Return as an Official Partner of ITV’s Love Island

LONDON, UK –3^rd June 2019 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd announced today that they are set to be the official phone partner for ITV’s Love Island, for the second year in a row. From 3^rd June, expect to see plenty of camera action and lots of iconic ‘I’ve got a text!’ moments, all powered by the Galaxy S10+.

This year, Samsung returned to the island of Mallorca and teamed up with previous Islanders Georgia Steel and Wes Brown to put the S10+’s camera through its paces, creating larger-than-life forced perspective images.

Georgia said of the experience: “I love the pictures and can’t believe they were all shot on the Galaxy S10+.  Me and my mates spend ages trying to get the best holiday snaps, so this was a great project to work on!” whilst Wes commented: “I loved making slow-mo videos when I was in the villa so it will be interesting to see what this year’s Islanders create with their Galaxy S10+ devices – the camera is amazing.”

Following 10 years of Galaxy innovation, the Galaxy S10+ comes equipped with everything the Islanders need to capture every moment in crystal-clear detail. Consumers who want to get involved in the action can take part in Samsung’s very own Love Island competition. This year, Samsung are offering consumers a chance to win a place for two at the Love Island Live Final. Viewers need to share their hottest summer snaps on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #S10HotShots and tag @SamsungUK before 12 noon on Tuesday 9th of July 2019¹
