Samsung and the Science Museum Group are presenting partners of Tim Peake’s Spacecraft National Tour and Space Descent VR. The Soyuz TMA-19M capsule safely returned the European Space Agency’s first British astronaut – Tim Peake – back to earth after six incredible months aboard the International Space Station back in 2016. It will now travel the length and breadth of the UK for the next two years, visiting 8 museums across the country and over 64 schools as part of a schools outreach programme.

Samsung will transport visitors to space through a new immersive VR lounge, where they will be able to experience Tim Peake’s 400km journey through space from the ISS hack to earth by a specially curated virtual reality experience: Space Descent VR.

The first stop on the national tour saw Tim Peake’s Spacecraft and Space Descent VR land in Bradford at the National Science and Media Museum.
