Samsung UK Appoints Deborah Honig As First Chief Customer Officer

LONDON, United Kingdom – January 9th, 2024 Samsung Electronics UK has announced the appointment of Deborah Honig, its first-ever Chief Customer Officer.

 

With responsibility for delivering an innovative, customer-first experience, Deborah will span the breadth of Samsung’s business offerings, bringing its product technology together on both a functional and emotional level.

 

Samsung is uniquely positioned as a global technology company with its ecosystem of products and services to help revolutionise the way people live and engage in the world. Deborah will be tasked with evolving the overarching brand offering here in the UK and with this in mind, helping to define its purpose in the everyday for work, rest and play.

 

Deborah joins Samsung UK with extensive global experience at the executive level and a track record of success in building high-performing teams whilst delivering innovation and growth across a number of consumer facing sectors. She spent the first part of her career as a management consultant at McKinsey where she was part of the consumer practice and advised global businesses on strategy, marketing and commercial leadership.  Deborah went on to work for some of the world’s most loved brands including Nike, Amazon, M&S and Starbucks.  She has been responsible for developing brands and customer propositions, developing strategic partnerships, leading retail businesses and building new omni-channel capabilities, and leveraging data and technology to transform how businesses serve the needs of their customers.
