Businesses can combine their CMS with Samsung for complete device control

London, UK – April 3, 2020 Samsung Electronics UK. today announced that it will be offering its Remote Management solution to partners and end-users free of charge for the next six months. From the 1st of April 2020 until the 1st October 2020, businesses will be able to control and manage compatible displays from a remote location1.

The Samsung Remote Management Solution is a central remote service solution, consisting of a MagicINFO platform which works alongside a company’s CRM to offer a complete review of hardware and display content. This allows for remote monitoring and managing of devices, enabling content teams to update message designs and schedules from any location at any time and eliminates the need for site visits or service calls.

“At Samsung we are fully aware of the pressures businesses are under in the current climate and want to do all we can to ensure that customers using Samsung UK display products are able to function as seamlessly as possible from remote locations.” said Damon Crowhurst, Head of Display for Samsung. “By offering the Samsung Remote Management Solution to users free of charge, we aim to help businesses operate smoothly, while maintaining the health, safety and wellbeing of their teams and employees”.

Optimum hardware control

Featuring an intuitive display monitoring dashboard, Samsung’s Remote Management Solution is designed to allow for teams to quickly and easily view information such as screen activity and content. With remote control teams can manage all on-screen display menus as if they are in front of the display, while device setting control has the ability to adjust critical hardware settings including power on/off, volume control, input source, picture mode and time, as well as plus push new firmware and automate software updates. The dashboard also enables consumers to select displays or groups and review historical information.

Robust Monitoring

With robust monitoring capabilities, Samsung’s Remote Management Solution can detect over 40 hardware errors within a network. Not only this, but it can also identify the cause, diagnose the problem and share advice with the user on how to solve the issue, without the need for a service call. With device statistics providing data on error rates, connection status and approval, users can keep track of any issues, while mobile access means users can connect to the Remote Management server at any time, regardless of their location.

Advanced features

Samsung’s Remote Management Solution is a fully customizable solution and offers various advanced features. For example, users can add their company logo or video file to the Remote Management tool, enabling them to display their own logos or taglines on the screen while turning on a device which helps to emphasize brand image. Additionally, the device group code function supports automatic device grouping, saving time with initial setting recognition, increasing productivity and decreasing the labor expenses.
