LONDON, England – Thursday 8th October: Samsung KX today announces the launch of Taste of Tomorrow’ , a content series to celebrate the new and innovative Samsung devices available for a fully connected lifestyle, to grow, cook and eat at home.

It’s no secret that young Londoners have less green living space and are more socially and environmentally conscious than previous generations. The UK is consistently striving for better home food solutions, along with new trends and techniques to shape the future of improved nutrition.

Food enthusiast Professor Green will host a live educational session from the Samsung KX hub of innovation in London’s King’s Cross to a limited, socially distanced audience. The Samsung KX Connected Kitchen, will become an epicentre for culinary curious Londoners, to learn and reimagine better techniques to grow, cook and eat at home.

In collaboration with scientific researchers GreenLabs and low-waste, plant-based chef, Sara Kiyo Popawa from The Food Studio, will together demonstrate how to transform small living spaces into urban gardens, to grow your own produce at home, and then the innovative ways to turn this into delicious dishes, all with Samsung tech at the heart.

Taking connected living to the next level, the Samsung SmartThings ecosystem helps users to be fully connected around their home at every touchpoint. ‘Taste of Tomorrow’, showcases the seamless functionality allowing consumers to live a zero waste lifestyle, for a better tomorrow.

Everything that the audience hears won’t just be future gazing – there’ll be tangible insights that can be applied to the home today. From hydroponic farming of micro-greens and home-made ‘smart gardens’, to low-waste cooking methods with alternative sources of nutrition and protein, guests will be inspired to try new things and revolutionise the way that they obtain and consume food.

A hydroponic garden will be a key focal point at Samsung KX later this month, where consumers are invited to come in and explore how they can implement some of the latest technologies into their own home growing. Samsung KX staff will be on hand to answer any questions, helping to educate about the best technology solutions that can be applied to home growing now.

Ahead of the upcoming Samsung KX ‘Taste of Tomorrow’ content series, host Professor Green commented: “I’m really looking forward to learning how to cook new plant-based dishes through the power of Samsung technology. I love food and gadgets, so the fusion of the two is a no brainer for me. I hope this content series inspires people to have the confidence to experiment more in the kitchen, as it is fun and genuinely beneficial for the body and the planet.”

Tanya Weller, Director of Samsung Showcase, KX said: “We’re thrilled to be hosting ‘Taste of Tomorrow’ at Samsung KX. We pride ourselves in creating unique experiences fuelled by Londoners’ passions that take seemingly conceptual ideas and making them accessible and inspiring through the power of Samsung technology.”

Consumers will be able to book their space at Samsung KX to be part of a live audience for ‘Taste of Tomorrow’, via the Samsung KX website. Tickets are free, with a limited amount available to comply with government guidelines.
