While artworks from Minted’s global platform of independent artists have been available in the Samsung Art Store since 2019, the winning art from the “Frame It” Art Challenge marks the first time artworks from Minted artists have been specifically created for the Samsung Art Store and displayed on The Frame series TVs. A total of 180 artworks by the 98 independent artists from the challenge will be available in the Samsung Art Store and featured in several seasonal and themed collections.
“By expanding our partnership with Minted through the ‘Frame It’ Art Challenge, we are deepening our commitment to championing independent artists and bringing fresh, exclusive perspectives to Samsung Art Store users worldwide,” said Daria Greene, Global Head of Content & Curation at Samsung. “At Samsung, we strive to make all forms of art accessible to our consumers, whether it be museum-quality masterpieces or community-created designs.”
“Minted is thrilled to bring the work of our global community of independent artists to the Samsung Art Store,” said Brady Wood, Chief Commercial and People Officer at Minted. “Minted exists to empower independent artists and create meaningful economic opportunity for creatives around the world. This co-hosted challenge marks an exciting evolution of our partnership, now in its eighth year—unlocking new pathways for our artists to reach millions of homes globally through Samsung’s innovative platform and reimagining how art is discovered, experienced and engaged with every day.”
The Frame series, including The Frame Pro and The Frame, is designed to display artwork as the artist intended, delivering faithful color, refined detail and a true gallery-like presentation. Across The Frame series, you can customize the TVs’ bezels2 to match your aesthetic and use a Slim Fit Wall Mount to hang near flush against the wall. Plus, the series features colors so lifelike that they are validated by the experts at Pantone®.
As our most advanced Art TV, The Frame Pro takes things further with an upgraded Neo QLED 4K display for brighter color and sharper contrast, while the Wireless One Connect Box3 hides your cables up to 30 feet away.
Art Store access has also continued to expand across several other Samsung TV series, including Neo QLED, Micro RGB and more. With every series, Samsung Art Store melds breathtaking artwork with advanced technology, transforming living rooms into curated galleries.
As part of the “Frame It: Inaugural Minted x Samsung Art Challenge,” along with Minted and Samsung’s shared dedication to supporting independent artists, the top-rated pieces voted by consumers and artists received prizes from $2,000 to $750, and Editor’s Picks received $150 plus an ongoing commission on net sales.
