Samsung News Enhanced With Video-First Updates and Premium Publisher Journalism

Samsung revealed a new set of features designed to deliver more diverse editorial content on its curated news service, Samsung News. Now available across all Galaxy devices, this update brings together expanded reporting from top publishers and a new short-form video experience, all seamlessly integrated into one personalized news destination.

From award-winning reporting to trending video stories of the day, Samsung News now delivers content the way Galaxy users want it: efficient, visual and from trusted sources. Curated articles from ABC News, PEOPLE, USA TODAY, Washington Post and more are now featured alongside sports and finance updates powered by Yahoo Media Group.

Short‑Form Videos Arrive on Samsung News

Samsung News is introducing a new short-form video carousel, with a daily tailored selection of must-watch clips. Users can explore videos across categories, such as news, finance, sports, lifestyle and entertainment, all selected by Samsung’s in-house editorial team to surface the stories that matter most.

Initially powered by PEOPLE, ABC News, Allrecipes, EatingWell, Food & Wine, Byrdie, Travel + Leisure, Entertainment Weekly, and USA TODAY, these bite-sized videos offer a fast and captivating way to stay informed on the go. Galaxy device users can “like” content, follow topics and discover new stories catered to their interests, enhancing their personalized experience.

Now Available
