Closing the Year With Impact: How Samsung Is Investing in Communities and the Next Generation

12/29/2025

As 2025 comes to a close, Samsung Electronics America is reflecting on a year defined by community connection, education and opportunity, guided by the belief that meaningful impact happens when people, technology and purpose come together.

Throughout the year, Samsung partnered with nonprofit and education organizations across classrooms, museums and community spaces to help students build critical skills, explore career pathways and gain exposure to real-world technology. In 2025 alone, these workforce development and community education initiatives supported approximately 4,400 students across New Jersey, Texas and communities nationwide.

Together, these efforts reinforce Samsung’s long-standing commitment to empowering the next generation through access, exposure and experiential learning, helping bridge the gap between education and industry.

Bringing STEM Education to Life

Education sits at the core of Samsung’s community impact efforts, with a continued focus on advancing STEM learning that is hands-on, inclusive and grounded in real-world problem solving. Through local partnerships and employee-led initiatives, Samsung supports students across communities by expanding access to technology, skills and experiential learning.

During the company’s 15th annual Day of Service, Samsung employees partnered with Englewood Cliffs Upper School in New Jersey – near Samsung’s newly opened U.S. headquarters – to bring design thinking and innovation into the classroom. Sixth-grade students worked alongside Samsung volunteers on a collaborative challenge focused on addressing local community needs, using AI tools and Samsung devices to develop and present their ideas.

Through a partnership with DonorsChoose, the school also received new classroom technology and STEM materials, reinforcing Samsung’s belief that early access to the right tools can help spark curiosity, build confidence and support long-term learning.

Expanding Learning Beyond the Classroom

In honor of International Science Center and Science Museum Day on November 10, Samsung Electronics America hosted a day of learning at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas.

Samsung’s community impact extends beyond schools to cultural institutions and nonprofit partners that spark curiosity, creativity and exploration through hands-on learning experiences.

In Texas, Samsung partnered with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science on International Science Center and Science Museum Day (11/10) to bring students together for a day of interactive STEM learning and discovery. Through a series of activities, students were introduced to foundational concepts in coding, sustainability and emerging technologies, demonstrating how creativity and innovation come together to solve real-world problems.

Activities included circuit-building workshops and AI-powered demonstrations, as well as creative challenges designed to make complex concepts approachable and engaging. For example, at the Brick Coding station, students built imaginative structures and then reverse-engineered them into step-by-step “coding” instructions, and in the Binary Pixel Art activity, students explored how pixels and binary code work together to transform data into the digital images we see on screen.

Beyond the Perot Museum, Samsung collaborated with organizations including Junior Achievement of New Jersey, The Tech Interactive, On-Ramps to Careers, Computer Science Teachers Association Dallas–Fort Worth, LAUSD Education Foundation, and more supporting learners at a range of ages and educational stages.

Together, these partnerships reflect Samsung’s commitment to expanding access to education, creating opportunities that empower students to explore, question and build a smarter future.

Supporting Workforce Development and Accessibility

In addition to STEM education, Samsung continues to invest in workforce readiness and accessibility-focused initiatives that help bridge the gap between education and industry.

Through job-readiness talks, mentoring sessions, mock interviews and visits to Samsung offices, repair centers and Connected Experience Centers, students and young adults gain firsthand insight into professional environments and in-demand skills.

Samsung’s partnership with nonPareil, a post-secondary nonprofit serving adults with autism, underscores Samsung’s approach to inclusive opportunity. During employee volunteer days in Texas, participants engaged in tech skills training, mock interviews and device repair, reinforcing the idea that innovation thrives when diverse perspectives are empowered.

One of Samsung’s flagship education initiatives is Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, a global program that has engaged more than 2.9 million students across 68 countries since its inception. Over the past 15 years, Solve for Tomorrow has helped students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while encouraging them to apply STEM concepts to challenges facing their schools and communities. In the U.S., where the program originated, Solve for Tomorrow has built a growing network of students, educators and mentors committed to using technology as a force for positive change.

Looking Ahead

Samsung’s community impact work reflects a broader mission: enabling people and creating pathways to opportunity through sustained partnership, employee engagement and purposeful innovation.

As the company looks ahead to 2026, Samsung remains committed to expanding access to STEM education, strengthening workforce development pipelines and continuing to support the communities where employees live and work.
