Samsung is celebrating the biggest moments on TV by releasing a custom channel that encourages Breaking Bad fans to countdown to the highly-anticipated Netflix original El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie premiere. The channel, which is exclusively available on the Samsung TV Plus platform, also marks the return of fan favorite Huell Babineaux – Saul Goodman’s personal bodyguard – and encourages viewers to wait with Huell until the El Camino movie releases on October 11 at 3:01 AM EST on Netflix.

Additionally, Samsung and Netflix will host an El Camino viewing party for fans and Samsung Smart TV owners at Samsung 837 in New York on October 11. Starting at 7PM EST, fans will be able to enjoy a full screening of the movie on a three-story Samsung screen and explore immersive photo installations inspired by the movie’s set pieces including a replica El Camino car.

The activity surrounding the El Camino movie marks the start of a campaign to bring several of Netflix’s biggest future premieres home with Samsung TVs.

“At Samsung, our mission is to deliver bigger and better viewing experiences for our consumers. Partnering with Netflix to fuel the frenzy in the lead up to El Camino, with truly unique experiences for fans, is a prime example of how we make value-added content that consumers love even better,” said Grace Dolan, Vice President of Marketing, Home Entertainment at Samsung Electronics America. “With screen sizes up to 98” and superb QLED technology, Samsung makes watching the biggest Netflix premieres at home an event you can’t miss. Over the next several months, we will continue to deliver exclusive fan experiences so they can further enjoy the entertainment they are most passionate about.”

Viewers can access the channel, which is available from now through until the movie release, by opening the Samsung TV Plus app on Samsung Smart TVs and tuning into channel 1000. The Netflix Television Event, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, reunites fans with Jesse Pinkman (Emmy-winner Aaron Paul). In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future. This gripping thriller is written and directed by Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad. The movie is produced by Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Charles Newirth, Diane Mercer and Aaron Paul, in association with Sony Pictures Television. It will be streaming only on Netflix beginning October 11 (Netflix subscription required).
