These days, Americans are doing more than ever. The foundation of our country is ambition—dreaming big and building things greater than ourselves—and this ambition comes in all forms. We start businesses from the ground up, work while on vacation, take care of our families – all while trying to stay fit. We don’t do these things because we have to. We do them because we love to, and we want our mobile devices to help us pursue our passions no matter where we are, how we got there, or where we’re going.

Samsung designed the Galaxy Note7 with this intrepid spirit in mind. And now, we’re launching a multi-faceted creative campaign to demonstrate exactly how the Note7 helps the ambitious, the aspirational, and the tireless think big and get more done. It reflects our belief that work is not a place we go, but a part of who we are.

On August 2, we debuted our first product ad highlighting the Note7’s groundbreaking workhorse features. The Note7 boasts more security, more battery, more S-Pen functions, more entertainment, all with the water- and dust-resistance unique to the Galaxy brand.

The commercial explores how these features come together to help energetic multitaskers and everyday productivity champions reach higher and do more. And it illustrates that we don’t need the trappings of a corner office or corporate culture to strive and succeed.

This month, as Team USA makes its debut at the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games, we’re unveiling a new, lighthearted ad that shows how the Note7 is uniquely suited for the all-American ethos of aspiration, ambition, and the pursuit of excellence. In the spot, Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz at first questions why Americans are always so “busy, busy, busy”—but then comes to realize, charmingly, that our obsession with overachieving from the minivan to the boardroom is all in service of a larger purpose. Eventually, with the help of the Note7, he realizes that he shares an American sensibility of ambition and accomplishment.

As this creative campaign unfolds, we’ll tell more stories of determined, driven Note7 users, who wear all sorts of hats in their lives – as artists and entrepreneurs, parents and coaches, celebrities and neighbors – and we’ll share how they use the Note7 to get everything done faster.

In the process, we’ll demonstrate how the Note7 is a phone designed to work the way you live, allowing everyone to make their lives easier, smarter, and better than ever.
