Samsung Appoints Marco Chisari to Lead its Semiconductor Innovation Center and Foundry Business in the U.S.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the world leader in advanced semiconductor technology, today announced that Samsung has hired Marco Chisari as Executive Vice President of Samsung Semiconductor Innovation Center (SSIC) and Foundry Business in the United States.
Mr. Chisari will bring his expertise in both investment banking and buyside, with particular focus on the semiconductor industry – an area in which he accrued over 25 years of experience with global Fortune 500 organizations such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Mubadala, GLOBALFOUNDRIES, JP Morgan, and STMicroelectronics.
Mr. Chisari will have responsibilities leading SSIC’s corporate development initiatives and expanding the company’s Catalyst Fund portfolio, and the Foundry business at Samsung’s U.S. subsidiary, Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (SSI).
